Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to listen to our arguments regarding three super spies: James Bond, Jason Bourne and Ethan Hunt. These agents will be ranked and evaluated in a variety of spy-related categories by our assets: Joel and Kent. As always, should you or any of your fellow listeners get enraged by our discussions, Baconsale will disavow any knowledge of your hurt feelings. Good luck. We decided to take a break from our usual topics of movies and television to discuss something truly important: politics. Ha! Just kidding! We're going to talk about video games -- specifically, the pre-PlayStation era. This episode is dedicated to the games we love, the games we hate and the games our parents wouldn't let us buy, so we'd have to go over to our friend's house to play them. Be sure to listen because you'll hear a strange revelation about Joel's secret past! After nine set-up/standalone superhero movies and two Avengers movies, Marvel finally gives us a set-up/standalone movie about the superhero who actually started the Avengers. Ant-Man may be doing quite well at the box office, but can it also do well with Kent, the Marvel hater, Joel, the Marvel apologist and Jacob, the Marvel flip-flopper? Note: The first 20 minutes of this review are spoiler-free. After that, we loose all restraints and let our thoughts, feelings and spoilers fly. You have been warned.

Since Disney/Marvel/Pixar/Lucasfilm decided to spin-off a solo Han Solo movie, we decided to offer up our own Star Wars spin-off suggestions. Kent, the hopeless romantic, tries to hook up a bunch of Star Wars characters while Joel just wants to see Channing Tatum take his shirt off again. J.J. This time, Baconsale ventures into the realm of lesser-known Disney films. Plus, Jacob compares Disneyland to a pitiful trash heap, Kent gets stuck on the song lyrics of Beauty and the Beast and Joel can't stop saying Pooh. Like any sequel, this episode is bigger, yet doesn't capture the magic of the original.

Millennials get a bad rap, so Kent and Joel decide to converse with one in this episode of Baconsale. It isn't long before the Baconsale boys discover how old they really are. In the first of, what's to be, many Disney episodes, we rank Disney animated features into three tiers. In this episode, Kent tries to dispute that jazz music has no place in Disney flicks. Joel doesn't mind breaking the hearts of girl squirrels. We spend at least five minutes trying to pronounce Notre Dame correctly. Along the way, we have a fever dream about pink elephants on parade.

We throw physics out the window as we bring in our very first guest. To say that Mark is an avid fan of the Fast & Furious franchise is a frightening and factual understatement. Join us as he tries to preach about the gospel of Paul and Vin to Joel, who plans to never watch the highly profitable series. Even though you only hear about two lines from Jake, we swear he was there the entire time.

In this episode we talk about the movies (or "films," as the film snobs say) that each of us are most excited for this summer. Joel is excited about his usual money-driven flicks. Kent talks about films that truly matter, but you've probably never heard of them. And Jacob mostly just agrees with Kent so they can stay best buddies. With all the strife in the world, who doesn't want to hear two grown men fight about comic book movies? That is clearly a hypothetical question, because everyone should. Listen to the latest show as the Baconsale boys review Avengers: Age of Ultron. As can be expected, there are extremely differing opinions and things get a little heated. If you listen long enough, you'll hear Kent hulk out and almost punch someone. Even if you haven't seen the movie, it's okay to listen. We avoid spoilers like Joss Whedon avoids cinematographers.

The Baconsale boys take some time off from fighting about movies so they can argue about television. Apparently they equate the amount of time of sitting on a couch and binging through shows to finding new depths. In this warped world, the more shows you complete, the more intellectual you are. Join the guys as they choose the best reality, best escapism, most recommended and best show overall. Spoiler alert...one of the group loves Married at First Sight.

With the recent premiere of the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, the guys still manage to get excited about the future of the franchise, even though George Lucas hurt it beyond repair. Listen as they debate which Star Wars movie is the worst of the series. Kent claims that there are few things worse than The Phantom Menace, while Joel thinks that Attack of the Clones is the clear winner/loser. There's only one thing for sure, I've got a bad feeling about this.
