It definitely felt like two points dropped, despite the Reds actually scoring from a corner, and fighting back from conceding a poor goal to take the lead. The old Achilles heel of set pieces hit us again as the defence failed to defend and the keeper could have done more. In the end, it was honours even and no-one was really happy. 45 minutes of heaven, followed by 45 minutes of hell - however, Forest scored three goals in the first period and withstood the Fulham offensive in the second half, to earn a welcome three points and make up for the points deducted due to the PSR breach. The first half was probably the best we have seen from the Reds, with good goals from Hudson-Odoi, Wood and Gibbs-White, who recreated the Forza Garibaldi banner with his fingers-in-ears celebration. A draw wasn't the result that we wanted, but was enough to pull the Reds out of the relegation zone on goal difference. It could have been so much worse as a tepid first half performance drew the ire of the fans, but the introduction of Gio Reyna on 60 minutes brought instant dividends, as the young American fed Morgan Gibbs-White, who in turn played it into the box where Chris Wood's clever header drew Forest level. For the second time in a few days, a promising display by the Reds but a controversial late winner - but the way that this one went in makes Wednesday's goal look just fine. Well, that felt good didn't it?
