He mentioned nobody wants to read that and those stories are hurting comics. Many attacked Glenn due to his comment was led into Mark bringing comic book owners on his podcast to talk about it. One year later Mark speaks again to these owners and they speak about positive changes that have taken place in the industry and opportunities that still exist for mainly DC and Marvel to correct. Al Letson credits comic books with teaching him how to read and helping him conquer dyslexia. He worked on two independent comic books, Imperfect and Planetfall.
