S2 Ep 9S2 Ep9: Business Bite - How To Be Luckier

An Extract from Being Unstoppable - Remember When Life Gets Challenging, "You've Got This"𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝟑 - 𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐘𝐃𝐨 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐲 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐨“Luck is believing you are lucky”Tennessee WilliamsThe definition of luck is the ‘success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one's own actions.’What that is saying is luck has little to do with your own work. Oprah Winfrey would deny that as she has regularly quoted that “Luck is when preparation meets opportunity.” I’ve found this list of ‘Rules To Live By’ which has bought me a lot of ‘luck’.Rule 2 – Live in the nowI’d recommend reading Eckhart Tolle’s book ‘The Power of Now’. In his best-selling book, he demonstrates how to live a healthier and happier life by living in the present moment. We are often troubled and paralysed by our past. This fear causes uncertainty and holds many people back from taking action that will provide a reward. The fact is, we can only live in the now. By focussing on the present, you are in control. In control of your thoughts and the results you achieve. You can appreciate what you have and consciously make the best choices. You can certainly then experience the joy that the world around you has to offer.Since following these rules, my luck has changed. With it, so has my level of belief that all will turn out the way it is meant to, thus creating a real sense of fearlessness because I have trust in the outcome.https://janeenvosper.com/good-girls-d...www.janeenvosper.com +61 413940117 https://www.linkedin.com/in/janeenvos... https://www.facebook.com/speechperfect/ https://www.instagram.com/speechperfect/ https://twitter.com/VosperJaneen

S2 Ep 8S2 Ep8: Business Bite - How to Make the Main Thing, The Main Thing

An Extract from Being Unstoppable - Remember When Life Gets Challenging, "You've Got This"𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝟑 - 𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐘𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥An alignment between your career, how you live your life and your core values produces satisfaction, a sense of happiness and fulfillment, and considerable confidence in the fact life seems to flow. You are in the right place doing the right thing. That sense of security in the knowledge you are living your ‘Why’, guarantees an unbridled sense of self-confidence to speak up when necessary and back your ideas and contribution. It is powerful and vital to trust in your message.Flow follows focus. Inflow, you are in an optimum state of consciousness. Are you productive or just busy? Being busy has become a sign of prestige. Have you recently asked someone, "How are you?" only to have them reply, "Busy!"Busyness triggers stress. S2 Ep 7S2 Ep7: Business Bite - How to Live Your Why

Being Unstoppable - Remember When Life Gets Challenging, "You've Got This"𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝟑 - 𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐘𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐖𝐡𝐲How often have you been asked, “What are you passionate about?”In TED speaker, Simon Sinek’s book ‘Start with Your Why’, he challenges all to consider whether the work you are doing matters. To you and to the world. He reinforces the belief that without a ‘Why’, big things cannot happen. With it, you become unstoppable. Many people live their lives just going about getting whatever results they are getting. They take whatever comes to them. So, if it is a good day, it is a good day. If bad stuff happens, it is a bad day. They have no mastery of the results that they are receiving. It just happens to them. If you want to be the master of your destiny, if you want to be in control of the results you’re getting, you need to be really clear about building your dreams first and then make sure those dreams become a reality by aiming for them.https://janeenvosper.com/good-girls-d...www.janeenvosper.com +61 413940117 https://www.linkedin.com/in/janeenvos... https://www.facebook.com/speechperfect/ https://www.instagram.com/speechperfect/ https://twitter.com/VosperJaneen

S2 Ep 6S2 Ep6: Business Bite - How to Remove Money Stress

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝟐 – 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲, 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲, 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲Money. We all need money. And to be honest, we all want more money. Thus, it can be difficult not to become stressed worrying about having enough money. Financial fears are the scariest fears for many of us. The roots of money fear often extend back to our childhood. Throughout my career, I worked hard to set myself up so that now I’m in a position I could comfortably retire without diminishing my lifestyle. I now work because I choose to do something I love. Unfortunately, many women in Australia aren’t in the same position for a variety of reasons. Divorce is a big factor, so is a low-paying job or running a business that doesn’t pay the bills. The Background Paper on Older Women’s Risk of Homelessness by the Australian Human Rights Commission in 2016 sadly highlights the fact that the number of older homeless women in Australia increased by over 30% between 2011 and 2016 to nearly 7,000. This crisis is very real. Rather than living rough, homeless women typically stay with friends or family, live in their car or in severely crowded dwellings, or are physically ‘hiding’. With increasing statistics such as this, it is right to pay attention to your money, to plan for the future, but not to fear it. I’ve found that pretty much anyone can overcome their money fears – if they’re armed with the proper techniques. Start by asking yourself exactly what you are afraid of and share those fears with a person you trust. Learn to always be kind to yourself. Be grateful for what you do have. Trust me, there is always someone worse off. Focussing on ways to serving others will lead to forgetting your own fears.Be generous. I’ve found that when I focus on giving, the universe gives back in an even bigger way. S1 Ep 116S1 Ep116: Episode 116 - How to Influence as a Leader

Susanne Le BoutillierA born leader, Susanne Le Boutillier possesses a passion for making a difference. Her broad experience in leadership, governance, strategy, and change, working as a senior executive in health and human services saw her taking on big challenges because she wanted to improve the system from the inside. But success came at a price. A very personal price and she knows her experience is not isolated for women in leadership and business. She is the founder of T.H.E.M. – the Happy Executive Method and is creating a movement of business leaders who experience personal wellbeing, enable it for others AND deliver business results. In this episode, Susanne explains the impact of the ripples that influence workplace culture and how this flows onto customers and the communities they serve. She speaks about how to differentiate between complicated and complex challenges and learn why you can fix one but not the other.Having been brought up to lead by example – roll your sleeves up and help when it gets tough, it took a lot of self-reflection for Susanne to understand that the higher you go, the less you can afford to do this as a woman.Listen to her story. You can reach out to Susanne here:www.susanneleboutillier.com.auSusanne Le Boutillier | FacebookSusanne Le Boutillier | LinkedInSusanne Le Boutillier (@susanneleboutillier) • Instagram photos and videos Remember to leave a 5 Star Rating or Comment if you have enjoyed this episode of the We Are Women Podcast. S2 Ep 5S2 Ep5: Business Bite - How to Find More Time

An extract from 'Being Unstoppable - Remembering When Life Gets Challenging, "You've Got This"𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝟐 - 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞Time or lack of it seems to be the greatest imposition in most people’s lives. And it causes the most amount of stress. The most common complaint I hear is, I wish I had more time. Apart from your health, time is your most valuable commodity. But what if you did have more time, would you fill it again with doing? I’ve worked with dozens of women to overcome that exhausting feeling of having a loop on replay in their minds of the list of things they must do or a difficult situation they have to deal with. The loop of worrying about the task/situation, telling other people about the task/situation, and maybe, finally doing the task, or dealing with the situation takes its toll. No wonder they are exhausted. Anyone would be. They are doing the task or repeating the situation multiple times. If you can relate to this, you will be pleased to know there is a remedy. Techniques you can apply to release the mind, gain control, give you back your energy and guarantee you value your time. When you are free of worry you will be more creative, make better decisions, and literally become unstoppable. The number one and most important aspect is to put things in perspective. Will it matter in 5 years, 5 months, or even 5 days? I find widening my perspective will usually snap me out of overthinking a problem. It also helps to put a time limit on a decision or action. By setting deadlines in your daily life you will gain more confidence in your decisions and trust the actions you take.Secondly, recognise the fact you cannot control everything. I bet everyone who you admire has made a mistake at some time. Mistakes provide feedback and are invaluable for your growth. www.janeenvosper.com +61 413940117 https://www.linkedin.com/in/janeenvos... https://www.facebook.com/speechperfect/ https://www.instagram.com/speechperfect/ https://twitter.com/VosperJaneen

S2 Ep 4S2 Ep4: Business Bite - How to Find More Calm in Your Life

An extract from 'Being Unstoppable - Remembering When Life Gets Challenging, "You've Got This"𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝟐 - 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐦We are all exposed to stressors every day. Awareness of how stress affects your mental health enables early detection of changes in your wellbeing and helps you bounce back when under stress. There are many techniques and practices that you can perform to achieve inner peace. Here are a few to practice.1. Choose your words wisely• Don’t say inside, what you cannot say outside.Your inner voice can have the most damaging effect on your inner peace. Be kind to yourself. Support and comfort yourself with your words. Gift yourself with words that boost your confidence rather than diminishing it.• Don’t say anything unless it is true, useful, or kind.Such a simple statement but one that challenges most of us when we are in a situation of stress. Devaluing others is usually a symptom of low self-esteem and often a reflection of how we view ourselves. Recognise when you find you are saying things that aren’t supportive and stop. You won’t find your own truth if you are focused on devaluing others. Don’t say anything to anyone unless you can say it to everyone.#stress, #innercalm, #confidence, #beingustoppable Purchase your copy of 'Being Unstoppable - Remembering When Life Gets Challenging, "You've Got This" ' here.https://janeenvosper.com/good-girls-d...www.janeenvosper.com +61 413940117 https://www.linkedin.com/in/janeenvos... https://www.facebook.com/speechperfect/ https://www.instagram.com/speechperfect/ https://twitter.com/VosperJaneen

The fact is when you are feeling overwhelmed you won’t be performing at your best. S2 Ep 2S2 Ep2: Business Bite - How To Own a Voice of Influence

An extract from 'Being Unstoppable - Remembering When Life Gets Challenging, "You've Got This"CHAPTER 1 - THE EMPOWERED WOMANA Voice of InfluenceThe fact is many women see themselves as a fraud, an imposter because they don’t possess an unshakable belief in who they are and what they can offer. Instead of focussing on the outcome of using their voice to influence, women unfortunately often fear the consequences instead. Attitude is everything!During difficult times ask yourself “How is this shaping me?” It magically switches your perspective from being a victim to being in control of how you deal with whatever comes your way. It forces you to take a moment and see that adversity treated with the right attitude can lead to the formation of new and wonderful bits for your development and building of resilience.Whether you are aware consciously or not, your subconscious mind is most likely sabotaging your efforts to acquire that elusive confidence factor. Fear to step away from what feels comfortable, what you have always done, and taking on something new can be scary, but worthwhile. Fear to think differently, and release the harmful influences in their lives, holds many people back from unlocking their full potential. #attitude, #confidence, #influence, #resilience, #potentialhttps://janeenvosper.com/good-girls-d...www.janeenvosper.com +61 413940117 https://www.linkedin.com/in/janeenvos... https://www.facebook.com/speechperfect/ https://www.instagram.com/speechperfect/ https://twitter.com/VosperJaneen

S2 Ep 1S2 Ep1: Business Bite - Tips To Living Fearlessly

An extract from 'Being Unstoppable - Remembering When Life Gets Challenging, "You've Got This"CHAPTER 1 – THE EMPOWERED WOMANLiving Fearlessly“I think fearless is having fears but jumping anyway.”Taylor SwiftHow you manage fear and the things you are fearful of can be attributed to your parents. Fortunately, though, it isn’t a life sentence. When you decide to approach the things you are fearful of differently; seek advice and support to shift that fear, there is no reason you can’t overcome that which scares you. When you do, you will gain a whole new level of confidence you won’t have expected.Fear is a feeling, not a fact. You can either spend your life struggling to protect yourself from your fears -- which is what most people do unconsciously -- or you can take action to step out of the anxieties that confine you and become unstoppable.People who live fearlessly live positively by contributing to others thus lessening their own fears and by putting their problems into perspective. 5. They are committed to everything they do. There is a saying “Without commitment you cannot have depth in anything whether it is a relationship, your business or hobby.” A commitment is a promise, a promise to yourself that you will put 100% effort into fulfilling the undertaking.#livingfearlessly,#beingunstoppable, #fearless, #confidenceOrder your copy of 'Being Unstoppable' herehttps://janeenvosper.com/good-girls-d...www.janeenvosper.com +61 413940117 https://www.linkedin.com/in/janeenvos... https://www.facebook.com/speechperfect/ https://www.instagram.com/speechperfect/ https://twitter.com/VosperJaneen

Raewyn Mai Raewyn Mai is known as The Health Stylist. Experienced scientist, researcher, microbiologist, and university lecturer, Raewyn teaches in Clinical Microbiology and Integrated Pharmacotherapeutics. In this episode, Raewyn explains how you can have a balanced lifestyle, the energy you need and be productive in life, work and business when you understand that all diseases, illnesses, and ailments start with the gut and how to gain optimal health through exploring your gut health. From her research, study and working with others she has discovered that the gut is where it all starts. She believes that way too many health issues could and can be avoided, just by focussing on your gut health and discovering the triggers. This fascinating discussion highlights the fact that many of the common problems women suffer such as fatigue, bloating, thyroid issues, skin issues, and needing more stamina (energy) to keep working through the day in their business, are due to what they eat. And common issues such as fog brain, mental health of depression and overwhelm should be looked at through the gut-brain connection.
