I’m doing something a little different in this episode. I am going to be talking with Katherine Novikov. She’s the host of the Fires of Freedom podcast – heard everywhere podcasts are heard – and the Executive Director of the Diamond Minds Foundation, a 501c3 focused on helping people – especially our nation’s youth see the world – its governments and organizations; culture and societies, without distortion.Katherine is part of a grassroots initiative championing a bill that is currently working its way through the Texas Legislature. And second, use the contact as a teachable moment. Briefly present the facts and how it would benefit the politico. When they hear how it benefits them individually, they see the most precious of commodities for politicians. Votes.For those paying attention – or for those who do the household finances and/or shopping, it has become abundantly clear that we cannot trust the federal government or the Federal Reserve to be good stewards of the value of our money. Before we get into this morning’s segment on The Captain's America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce I wanted to expound a bit on the dangers of consolidated power, especially in government.Our Founders and Framers actually put together a country that ended up being 50 separate states with 50 separate constitutions. The federal government they created, through the US Constitution and Bill of Rights, was to establish a loose association of the 50 states with the 50 separate constitutions so that we could be seen as a country. It never established an all-powerful, all-demanding, totalitarian centralized government like today.They wanted the federal government to fill in the cracks and to allow the 50 states (back then 13 colonies turned into States) to be able to band together to protect themselves in concert and to deal with trade between the states. That's really all it was ever supposed to be.But with the advent of the Woodrow Wilson administration and the centralization of power in the federal government – and that continuation of the centralization of power with every single president since, we now have this massive centralized federal government that has clawed authority away from the states to become this totalitarian, centralized form of government; government that doesn't adhere to the limitations set forth for the federal government in the US Constitution. They just keep clawing more power to centralized government.The same thing goes for centralized finance.In the beginning, every state had its own currency. But a bunch of really rich guys got together at Jekyll Island, Georgia, at the beginning of the 20th Century and created the Federal Reserve in collusion with the Wilson administration to create this centralized banking system that we have today; a banking system that has failed to protect the value of money.Centralized power was never in the game plan for the United States. Yet, here we are.So, how do we reverse this? The state legislatures and the governors must claw back their power through nullification, and some pretty big brains – who want to champion states’ rights and a return to constitutionalism – have to figure out how to interrupt the direct flow of federal revenue through taxation from the people to the federal government.There's no reason we can't remit in bulk through the states every year, the states being the guardians of what we really have to pay the federal government. We have to fund the military and we have to fund some pretty egregious social programs that were passed over the years since Woodrow Wilson. But we shouldn't have to pay for turtle tunnels and we shouldn't have to pay for a lot of the stuff we are paying for. That money can stay with the states. Something to consider going forward. Before I get into this morning's segment on The Captain's America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce, I wanted to elaborate a little bit more about Kevin McCarthy’s spending bill and the other spending that Congress seems so capable of doing.We shouldn't be happy with the McCarthy bill that went through the House because it still raises the debt ceiling and it still spends beyond our means. We are nowhere close to spending within our means regarding the revenue stream that goes to the federal government.The engine for acquiring that revenue scheme is antiquated and needs to be completely overhauled and reformed. As it is, we are just racking up debt that will never be paid off, not in the lifetimes of our great-great-grandchildren, if at all.Another thing to keep an eye on is legislation coming down the tube that has to do with controlling your money.A Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) is a very bad idea. It gives the federal government full control over your money. They can shut it off with the flip of a switch. We saw that happen in Canada when the truckers were protesting against COVID. And you see it in China, every single day, used against people that don't conform to the party line.So, a CBDC is a very, very bad idea.Another horrible idea coming through the tube is Elizabeth Warren's proposed legislation that would regulate cryptocurrency wallets. She's not stupid. She's not going after the cryptocurrency (although she's on record as hating it because the federal government cannot control it). She's going after the wallets it's kept in; to regulate those.Every single thing about her bill controls your money and as we've seen over the years the federal government is a terrible steward of your money. They overspend. They spend on things that we don't want. They try to push agendas upon us with our money. Before we get into this week's segment on Talkback with Chuck Wilder – our last segment with Chuck Wilder on that program (he is retiring at the end of the month), I wanted to acknowledge his incredible career.He's been a radio pioneer; somebody who was behind the mic during the golden days of radio – both as a disc jockey (a DJ) and as a producer and then as a host of his show.He produced for George Putnam, the legendary radio talk show host out of the West Coast, for many years until Mr. Putnam's passing, and then the torch was passed to Chuck.He's done an incredible job and it's been a privilege to have been a reoccurring guest; a regular guest on his show for the past 18 years. That he would keep coming back to have conversations with me about what I believed to be important, my writings, things in the news, was a true honor. It was a privilege to be part of his career, especially at the end.So, enjoy your retirement Mister Wilder! Before we get into this morning's episode of The Captain's America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce, I'd like to expound a little bit on the primary topic of that interview today and that has to do with what's happening over in Sudan.The Biden administration ensured that 80 government employees were evacuated from the US Embassy in Khartoum, effectively closing that US Embassy in Sudan before they made sure to get US citizens to safety.Below is a screenshot of a communique from the US State Department regarding a query from a US citizen stranded there by the Biden administration:That's unacceptable. We should have learned that from the egregious withdrawal from Afghanistan.You make sure that you evacuate the US civilians before you close an embassy or a military base because US embassies and US military bases are considered sovereign land to the United States. Every country's embassy is a sovereign territory in a foreign country.Now that we don't have sovereign territory in Khartoum if we are to send troops in to rescue the 16,000-plus Americans that were left behind, it constitutes an invasion of that country with US troops.It’s hard to believe that the people in charge of the Pentagon and the White House are this stupidly incompetent. There has to be something else in play here. In the last segment of this interview, Matt expresses that he thinks it's all about money and all about getting the corporations to pay for it so the Biden administration can keep wasting our tax dollars on forcing us into green energy, BigTech, and banking schemes that we all don't really want.If that's the case, my only questions are these. How do you impeach an entire administration all at once short of going to an election? And the response by the new mayor, Brandon Johnson, is beyond shameful. Before we get into this morning’s segment on Talkback with Chuck Wilder, I wanted to double down on one of the points we made in the first story.I am on record, many times, as saying I don't care about your sexuality. I don't care if you're gay. I don't care if you're trans. I don't care. Whatever you want to pursue to make yourself happy in that sphere have at it. Be fulfilled. Be who you are. I celebrate that. I want you to be happy.But I don't care for the aggressive activism that sees trans protesters punching women who've been directly affected by that movement in the face; physically assaulting them. I'm talking about Riley Gaines in San Francisco. That's a step too far.It's one thing to say, “Hey, accept me for who I am. Please recognize this.” It's absolutely another thing to say, “You have to not only accept me but you have to celebrate it every second of your life and be included in everything you do every second of the day.That's bullshit. You're right to “throw a punch” ends where my nose begins. That's what individualism is all about; that's what freedom is all about.When you start castigating people because they don't march in lockstep with your ideology then you're the asshole. Again, it's one thing to say, “Hey, try to understand who I am and accept me for who I am.” It's quite another to say, “You've got to get into my parade and march down the street with me and advocate and believe in every single thing I believe in otherwise you're a bigot; you're homophobic; you're xenophobic.”That kind of bullying used to be abhorred by the people on the radical Left; it used to be rejected and condemned by the people on the Left in the mainstream. I don't see that happening today. And as for the feminist movement, the women's movement, the #MeToo movement? You have men identifying as women who are coming into things that you fought for for almost 100 years, destroying it for biological women. Where the hell are you to say, “Hey! That's not right”?If those in the trans and LGBTQ+ movement aren’t honest enough to understand that the biological differences between biological males and biological females are real; that differences are there in the muscle structure, in the physical structure – it's just real and honest science – if you're not honest enough to be able to acknowledge and recognize that then how do you expect me to accept and recognize what you would like me to recognize?That street has to go both ways. It can't always just be your way or no way at all or you burn it down. That's what a 3-year-old does.So, right now, to the whole trans movement: If you don’t take control of your movement so that you are not so far over the line people are afraid to speak, then you are the neo-fascists; you are the oppressors; you are the totalitarians.Call me whatever you want. Your names mean nothing to me anymore because you've abused the privilege to communicate with me.We've got to take a sharp turn in this country because we're losing it. Before we get into this morning's segment on The Captain's America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce, I want to expound and reiterate one of the overarching themes of the first segment and that is that our diplomacy in the United States doesn't exist.The State Department under the Biden Administration has completely failed. When you look at the ascendance of Communist China and their cooperative state with Russia, and their ability to foment relations between countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran to make the Islamic fascist World cohesive, and that they're all on the same page about toppling the United States from being at the top of the heap – including moving away from the US dollar as the world reserve currency, you see that they are actively attacking the United States.And our State Department has failed in intervening to make sure that they haven't coalesced a coalition of countries against the West – and the United States specifically.This Administration cannot be out of office quickly enough.If you voted for Joe Biden – or you know someone who voted for Joe Biden, you really either have to ask them to reevaluate what they're thinking or move them beyond the “orange man bad” thing because their vote – their vote – to put Joe Biden in office facilitated the ascendance of Communist China – and their cooperative relationship with Russia, Iran, and Saudi Arabia – to the point where now we have France saying that they don't “want to have any part of World War III.”They're openly talking about World War III!They don't want anything to do with World War III and oh, by the way, they don’t want to be as dependent as they are on the US dollar for their trade.Those are not good signals for the United States. We need to wake up.These popularity contests that we call presidential elections, they have to be about policy not about what the media wants to shop us.We've got to wake up! Before we get into today’s episode of The Captain’s America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce, I wanted to touch on a point that was made in the second segment.With the announcement by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. that he has tossed his hat in the ring for the Democrat nomination for president in 2024, Republicans have to get serious about exorcising the cult of personality from the campaign trail and party platform and focus seriously on defining why conservative, non-globalist policies are a better choice for our nation.Kennedy has stated that his platform is anti-BigPharma, anti-Swamp, anti-bureaucracy, and anti-neo-fascism in the unholy alliance between today’s Woke federal government and the manipulators of the elitist-globalist private sector. This platform is squarely in the middle and, therefore, will require smart politicking, not the current bumper sticker mentality.If – and it is still an if because the Kennedy candidacy throws a huge wrench into the neo-fascist control of the leftmost wing of the Democrat Party; it is a direct threat to the Clinton/Obama/Biden handler team – Kennedy is the nominee, it doesn’t matter who the Republicans run as a candidate, the cult of personality will not win the election.It has been a long time coming that the GOP stopped its response-centered style of politicking and moved to establish the narrative. Establishing that narrative with a message mired in accurate, fact-based information that educates and informs the populace is a winning strategy.Running on soundbites and slogans; advancing another cult of personality pissing match that during the primary damages everyone on the debate stage in another pathetic attempt to be the opposite of what the DNC wants itself to be today, is a stupid strategy. Before we get into this morning’s segment on Talkback with Chuck Wilder, I want to talk a little bit more about Freedom of SpeechIt's enshrined in the First Amendment and we believe that we have it but throughout history, the freedom of speech has been something that is vacillated to a lesser extent and a more potent extent.There is a great book titled Free of Speech by Jacob Mchangama that I urge you to either pick up and read or download and listen to (I listen to my books, I just consume it better that way). We always need to jealously guard our right to free speech. We saw, through the COVID debacle, that our federal government believes free speech is fluid and something that can be manipulated. That shouldn't be the case.Our Bill of Rights, the way that our country was set up; the covenant that the people have with the government, establish us in a constant state of freedom as mandated by the Bill of Rights. Some in the private sector have come to not understand that. They hide behind the fact that the Bill of Rights is something that limits the federal government and they believe they can do whatever they want. We saw Twitter do it in censoring valid voices from the medical community. We saw it in Facebook censoring valid voices that had alternative viewpoints to the established narrative.Those companies are not living in the spirit of the Bill of Rights and they should be condemned for it.Free Speech also comes with a boatload of responsibility. You need to do your homework to make sure you've got your facts straight before you decide to opine. There are a lot of people – especially on the fascist Left, and I'm going to name some names: Rob Reiner, Kathy Griffin, Steve Colbert, all of the idiots on late night what's-supposed-to-be-comedy TV talk shows, all of them – they shoot their mouths off based on pure opinion and emotion, failing to research the facts of the matter, failing to consider both sides of an argument, and failing to come to a measured and logical, common sense-based conclusion.Social media has supercharged this melody in our society and we – each and every one of us – have to take responsibility for our own contributions on social media and dial the emotionally charged, non-fact-based, bullshit back.This is why the last election was based purely on a personality contest. It had zero to do with the policies that were put in place, zero. The policies that were in place were very good for our nation; we're very good for our people. We had low unemployment. We had an explosion in small business ownership, an explosion in minority homeownership. We were respected around the world. But the Mainstream Media Complex manipulated the population into believing something that facilitated an emotionally charged personality contest and that's why, “Orange man bad” won.If there's one person that should be condemned most of all it's Rob Reiner. A bigger moron I have never come across. Just read some of his tweets. He’s a complete and utter jagoff. That might be a little too spicy for you but I don't know how else to characterize him. Read his tweets and you'll understand.Free speech. It's something worth fighting for but we have to do it coming from an informed and educated vantage point that looks at the opposing argument and comes to rational conclusions before we open our mouths or put fingers to keyboards. Before we get into this morning’s segment on The Captain's America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce, I wanted to expound a little bit on what we talked about in the incredible blunder the radical Left – the fascist Left – has executed in inditing a former president.Let's take the Trump thing out of it for a second because there's enough Trump derangement syndrome on the Left to last millennia. The idea that we can go back into an ex-president's past after he leaves office and start cherry-picking things on which to bring him to account lends itself to political retribution. This Is the stuff of Third-World nations. This Is the stuff of Venezuela, Cuba, etc.We can't have political retribution in the United States. Yes, if you broke the law you should have to pay a price for it. But going and digging into someone's past and digging and digging and digging beyond what you would do to a regular citizen to persecute him because of your political ideology, that does make us a Banana Republic.So, this George Soros-funded attack on an ex-president – and you didn't see him looking into the past actions of Barack Obama; you didn't see his surrogates looking into Bill Clinton, ironically for the same thing that they're trying to go after Trump for – it's only one side that George Soros-funded money is going to attack and destroy. That's why we have to push back on this.If you are a clear-thinking Democrat, a Libertarian, an Independent, a Republican, conservative, you have to push back against the fascist Left. They're not what we are. They don't like the United States. They don't like the American ideal. They don't care for the American experiment. They're more simpatico to the Communist Chinese centralized government with total power that bestows rights upon citizens. We don't have that in the United States. We have inalienable rights granted by our Creator; a higher power, not the government.So, these George Soros-funded; special interest-funded attacks in the political sphere? We have to start expunging those to get back to a pure kind of politick in the United States…as odd as that may sound right. Before we get into this morning’s segment on The Captain's America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce, I wanted to expound a little bit on what we talked about today in the first segment and which is the indictment of former president Donald Trump.I don't care whether you like Donald Trump, voted for him, didn't vote for him, have problems with him, or hate his guts (like Rob Reiner), but we can't turn into the Banana Republic that the radical Left wants us to become.Going after ex-presidents for things that are already adjudicated by finding new nuances to charge him opens up every ex-president to being scrutinized. When we're talking about hush money, now Bill Clinton has to be in the crosshairs, he must. He paid – while being an elected official – hush money to Paula Jones. So, he needs to be indicted by the authorities in that judicial location. It simply must happen.It also opens up Joe Biden to being investigated after he leaves office about his connections to Ukraine and the Ukrainian government and Burisma and China and all of the companies that have paid into the Biden family.The Left never thinks things through, lumbering ahead like a bull in a china shop wrecking everything to get to what they think is the prize. A more ignorant group of people I have never come across. They are simply in it for immediate gratification, power, and riches. They have no ethics and no morality…and no good political long-term sense.I've got my own issues with Donald Trump going into this 2024 General Election season but that's beside the point. The point here is that we don't go after political people in the manner of political persecution; for the benefit of one political faction. That's what Nicholas Maduro does in Venezuela. That’s the Castros in Cuba. That's what Vladimir Putin does in what was once known as the Soviet Union, today Russia.If we're going to maintain the freedoms that we have in the United States – and right now with the Woke generation I don't know if that can happen (as Victor Davis Hansen said in a recent interview, a more ignorant and arrogant generation has never existed on the face of the planet…maybe at the fall of the Roman Empire with all of their excesses but that may just come in a very close second), if we're going to maintain the freedoms that we have and stay on course with the Great American Experiment, we have got to stop with the tit-for-tat political garbage that the Left has sucked us into.People like Rob Reiner, Kathy Griffin, Joy Behar, and the rest of that disgusting ilk, can't lead the charge on this; they can't say “Follow me!” where ethics and morality are concerned. People, they gave us Harvey Weinstein! They gave us Jeffrey Epstein!So, let's get back to – I'm not saying Bible-thumping, but some sense of common sense, some sense of ethics and morality. Before we get to this morning’s segment on The Captain's America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce, I wanted to expound briefly on what we discussed.We talked a bit about the lack of electric vehicle charging stations along major corridors of the United States, which lends to the argument that the infrastructure bill that President Biden keeps bragging about having passed didn't do anything to actually do anything for infrastructure. It just kind of went into the deep pockets of his campaign donors…and it brings about the echoes of Obama past, doesn't it (think Solyndra).Then we get into the recent speech in Waco by former president Donald Trump, some of the things he said that the crowd liked, and especially some of the stuff that he said that the crowd didn't like. Before we get into this week's segment on Talkback with Chuck Wilder, I wanted to touch on an idea that Marjorie Taylor-Green has been promoting and that's the “National Divorce.” I get what she's trying to say. She's saying it wrong.We don't need a National Divorce. What we need to do is revert to the way that our country was set up to be: 50 separate states with 50 separate constitutions and a federal government that fills in the cracks.Ever since Woodrow Wilson, we have evolved into a centralized federal government that has clawed power away from the states and that's not the way it was supposed to be. Our country was supposed to be 50 separate entities. This way, if California decided they wanted to live life in a certain manner they could without affecting Texas, Florida, or any other state in the Union. It also guarded against California using more federal tax dollars to bail out their irresponsible policies from states that have responsible policies. The government that was meant to touch our lives the most was the state government, not the federal government. The federal government was made to provide for a common defense, deal with limited interstate commerce, and execute diplomacy overseas. What we have now is a centralized government that has neutered the powers of the states, to a great extent, encroaching upon their authority and thus creating this need for what Margaery Taylor-Green calls a National Divorce.But it's not a National Divorce. It's reverting to the original state of what our country was supposed to be: 50 separate states with 50 separate constitutions, bound together into a covenant that formed a union that employed a limited and enumerated powered federal government that didn't encroach on the individual life.So, no National Divorce. It would be getting back to good.If we can get back to our original state it will go a long way to healing the fissures that the political class has created in the division of our people. It makes me cringe to use those two words in the same sentence, especially when we're talking about the federal government.Here are links to a couple of examples that illustrate why we should all cringe at that idea. The first is Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), questioning Colleen Shogan, the Biden nominee to be the National Archivist, and the second is Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), grilling US Attorney General Merrick Garland:We’ve had hearings before Congress with a few people nominated by the Biden administration – and one sitting Attorney General – in which the example of how they blatantly and overtly lie to not only the American people but to Congress; how it's running rampant; how it seems to be the status quo; how it's become the norm, is clearly evident.If you get truth from somebody from the federal government sitting before Congress that is an anomaly. You have people locking down their social media before they have to testify because they don't want to be outed for who they really are, even though they're going before the people's House and and the Senate to be confirmed to serve the people.Why would you hide who you are if you're going on a job interview to serve the people of the United States? Why would you lock down your social media? Why would you be allowed to lock down your social media?People who do that – the people who don't answer questions during confirmation hearings; the people who use the Fifth Amendment after they've been confirmed, like Eric Holder did when he was found in Contempt of Congress – they should have to resign and the people who locked down their social media accounts making it more difficult to be transparent shouldn't get the gigs.Yet, listen to Congressional testimony by anybody who's up for an appointment to the federal government and you see the most well-crafted responses to just about any question that can be asked (and a lot of times they get the questions in advance) so that we learn nothing; there's no culpability for things they've said in the past, they're never held to account.And we wonder why the federal government doesn't serve the people. We allow them to deceive us; to lie to us without repercussion.I want you to think about the Eric Holder thing for a minute. He sat before Congress, lied to Congress, pleaded the fifth before Congress, was held in Contempt of Congress, and nothing happened! Why? Because he was the Attorney General!Congress refers prosecution charges to the Department of Justice for action. He was the guy! Did you really think he was going to prosecute himself?... And he didn't even have the Integrity to resign because he pled the Fifth – which means he would have incriminated himself under oath on the issue of Fast & Furious.How did we allow him to stay in power? Why wasn't he impeached?We’ve got to think about this. If we want an honest government that serves the people we have to demand honesty at the beginning not in the middle or at the end. This must be at every level of government. As we get into today's segment on Talkback with Chuck Wilder, I want to expound a little bit on why the detention of the people who were arrested on January 6th has become so egregious.The Sixth Amendment guarantees us a speedy trial. The process of those detained on January 6th has been anything but speedy. It has been impeded by disingenuous politics from the Left.The information we see coming out from defense teams in the trials of these people indicate that the federal government and law enforcement from the District of Columbia were integral in goading the people into violent and illegal action.Evidence has now been exposed that shows undercover and plain clothed police officers from both the DC Metro and the Capitol Hill Police – as well as federal agents – were amongst the protesters, some of them literally pushing people towards the doors of the Capitol Building.Many of us have seen video already of Capitol Hill police officers showing people the way up the stairs inside the Capitol Building.And then there is the joke of a January 6th committee that was put together – that was gerrymandered – by Nancy Pelosi that withheld all of the video evidence from that day. There shouldn't be anything held back from that day as far as video evidence. It should all be open for the public to see.Now that Kevin McCarthy has given Tucker Carlson complete access to that video archive I am sure we are going to see more things that really piss us off! The bottom line here is that there were legitimate objections to some of the Electors that were being seated, objections that needed to go through a legal procedure in the Electoral College. That chaos stopped those objections. So, if there was any gerrymandering of the election in 2020 – besides the fact that the Judicial Branch in the Supreme Court failed to act on a question of constitutionality where the changing of election law was concerned in several States – it happened with the Democrats manufacturing, fomenting, and encouraging chaos on Capitol Hill that stopped those objections to those electors being seated.It's all got to come out.Everybody knows something wasn't right with the election. As we get into this morning's episode of The Captain's America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce on this President's Day, our President, regretfully Joe Biden, is over in Ukraine shooting his mouth off about how the United States is going to probably end up giving F-16s to Ukraine further embedding the United States into that conflict to a point where China's now got to be invited to get involved on the Russian side.We all need to start being very vocal about this issue. What hangs in the balance is a catalyst for global conflict. You already have China getting buddy-buddy with the Russians. They have been giving them support in their battle against Ukraine. Now, they're talking about giving lethal support to the Russians in their battle against Ukraine, even as they saber-rattle and do military exercises around the island of Taiwan.Now you have Joe Biden, over in Ukraine, talking to politicians who – before the invasion – were recognized as the most corrupt government on the planet sans Sudan and maybe Yemen. His actions are tempting China to say, “Okay, let's get involved with this, too!” That's how Global conflicts start. That's how World Wars start.If we end up in a global conflict because of Ukraine's war with Russia and the world starts taking sides and the missiles start flying; this is going to be a limited nuclear war. This is not going to be a conventional war. This is going to make World War II look like it was kind of not bloody. It's going to happen quickly and it's going to change the world forever.So, we have to get a hold of our elected officials and tell them that they must claw back the War Powers Act from Joe Biden. He's not capable of being a diplomat on the world stage. He does not know what he's doing when it comes to negotiating with the Russians.The Russian people have a different mentality all together. You need to study up on that before you take a Western view of how you believe nations on their border should be acting. Biden has not.I feel for the Ukrainian people. I do. I feel for any people in a war-torn area and there are a lot of them. This is where governments matter and the Ukrainian government is corrupt. So, we had better get some true diplomats involved with this very quickly because it can get out of control just as quickly. In this episode of The Captain's America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce, we discuss issues surrounding the recent train derailment in Pennsylvania, calling on our past as firefighters and how we were trained to respond to HazMat incidents and how the hierarchy of the Emergency Services functions during an event like that.One of the things that I point out is the inanity of how our legislative bills are named.If you look at the “infrastructure bill” that was passed by the Biden Administration – to the tune of trillions of dollars when he first got into office – you would think that our infrastructure, after spending that much money, would be solid. But the derailment in Pennsylvania, a subsequent derailment outside of Detroit, and another down South have proved that our railway systems, even though the federal government keeps pumping money into it and we have infrastructure projects earmarked for it, never get the maintenance it needs to have done.Trillions of dollars into a bill packed with special interest sidecars, special interest projects that have nothing to do with infrastructure, and loaded with this bullshit that is Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and CRT and every other ideological and politically based element that has nothing to do with maintaining the infrastructure of the United States. That kind of crap has to stop!But the only way it will stop is if you get active with the people that you elect to office.And by the way, we should be sending people to office who are worthy to hold the office not just the next person in line. That's the cancer of the two-party political system.Once you reach the federal level, you get into a queue. And when your turn is here, your turn is here. A perfect example is Mitch McConnell. They want to control and define what is “proper” and “good” speech, excluding – in most cases – any non-sanctioned narrative, and in the techno world that means this. It has to do with fascism and regulation. It’s titled, Fascism Facilitated By Regulation.The two things that caused me to write this one was the IRS’s determination that they weren't going to tax some of the relief checks issued by states around the country – it affects 21 states and leaves out the rest. And the other regulatory issue I was outraged by is the Biden administration's reinstitution of Operation Choke Point or what everyone calls Operation Choke Point 2.0, which is targeting the legal industry of cryptocurrency by using banks to coerce crypto outlets into submission.There is no authority to do any of this; or either of these things. This is the very definition of fascism and it’s through regulation that the Executive Branch is affecting these things. I think it was an appropriate response of outrage at a blatant lie:I don't care if you're a Republican, a Democrat, an Independent, a Libertarian, Green Party member, whatever, we cannot just blindly vote for our candidate if he is a blatant liar!Joe Biden has proved over the years that he's not only a plagiarist, he's a fiction writer; he is a liar. This is a perfect example.Republicans in the House and the Senate have gone out of their way to say that they are not touching Medicare or Social Security. Yet the President of the United States, supported by the Democrat Party, insists on repeating this lie again and again and again. If you look at Hakeem Jeffries Twitter page it's all over that, “Republicans want to take away your Medicare, want to take away your Social Security!” It's a lie.Republicans are on record as saying it's a lie. Yet the media just keeps reporting it and the Democrats keep saying it to the point where you had the President of the United States saying it during a State of the Union Address.Well, the Republican response was a good one and we have to keep that up. A lot of people may be disappointed at the lack of decorum but it comes to the point that if you're going to lie – blatantly – in a State of the Union Address there needs to be very vocal pushback.So, let's ask a little bit more of our politicians. Spin is one thing. Blatantly lying is another. And we've gotten to the point where politicians are just blatantly lying. We can't stand for that. That's not the way our government is supposed to be. That's not even the way our politics is supposed to be.The Progressive Left (which is now the fascist Left) has brought us to this point; where they want us to believe lying is acceptable just as long as they win. We can't let that happen. We have to push back, demand the truth, demand their fidelity to the truth and the facts, and force them to make their case going into an election rather than just trying to scare the populace into voting for them. It's ironic that it is 5G that's providing great communications for everybody, I know there's been some questions about it but 5th Generation Warfare or 5Gen or 5thGen is not 5G, so let's clear that up right now.5th Generation Warfare has to do with winning a war or securing a battlefield without firing a shot. China's attempting to do this by co-opting the narrative and gaslighting on a massive and intense scale.When you can glean data from people's everyday data usage to see what's important to them and what's not important to them, what they buy what they don't buy, you can start to craft narratives that relate to people…individually. Because of the Analyst Institute, which was created for the second Obama campaign in coordination with the AFL-CIO, we know that you can launch a PsyOps campaign to touch every individual in the country individually. When you're able to insert your agenda into people’s everyday narratives you can very slowly and incrementally mold them to your way of thinking. This is 5th Generation Warfare; this is using social media and BigTech to move the narrative towards a vantage point. That's what China is doing with things like TikTok.So, if you're an adult and you have Tik-Tok on any apparatus that you own get rid of it. Don't be stupid! If your child has it make them get rid of it. Before we get into today's segment on The Captain's America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce, I’d like to comment on the fact that we did – finally, after the balloon transverse the entirety of the United States – we finally shot down the Chinese spy balloon over the Atlantic off the coast of South Carolina.This whole thing brings a few questions to mind that we have to ask ourselves; that we have to demand answers for from our elected officials and especially the Biden Administration geared towards the Pentagon.How is it that we didn't detect an intercept this thing over international waters before it reached the United States?Why was it allowed to transverse the entirety of our country – from Washington State through Montana all the way down off the coast of South Carolina?Why don't we have the capability – if we had the shuttle program, if we have high flying aircraft, if we have aircraft that skip on the atmosphere before getting into space – how is it that we don't have the ability to capture something like this so that we can find out what's in it; the technology involved, etc etc etc?And lastly, the excuse that they didn't want to shoot this thing down over the continental United States because it might hit somebody? The public found out that it existed when it was over Montana!We have space debris falling out of the sky everyday that doesn't burn up in the atmosphere when it comes to reentry. Are buildings in downtown Chicago getting hit?So, there's a lot of questions surrounding this. Before we get to this morning's episode of TalkBack with Chuck Wilder I’d like to take a second and talk about the Memphis issue and specifically the comment that Van Jones made about, “Well, even Black people can be racist against Black people.”That should demonstrate how exhausted the tired claim of racism actually is. It doesn't matter what the color of the skin was. The victim was Black. All five police officers were Black. This has to do with how we treat one another as human beings and how people interact with police, regardless of their race or the race of the police officers.We send police officers out every day to clean up the worst of the worst; to keep bad people from hurting good people; to keep people safe. Are there some bad police officers? Yes, there are.Are there some bad politicians? Absolutely! Are there some bad Black people? Yes. Are there bad White people? Yes. But it doesn't mean that you paint the whole thing as racism.The tired claim of “Racism! Racism! Racism!” has lost all effect and all meaning and that's because the people who are gleaning notoriety and riches off race-baiting have cried wolf one too many times. Van Jones is one of them. D'Angelo is another. Kendi is another. They're making millions off of claiming racism about everything.And the elected class? They just want to keep us divided using one more identity label.So, let's get back to Dr. Martin Luther King’s philosophy before it's too late. Let's judge people by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. When someone's a bad person they're a bad person and they should have to pay a price. It shouldn't matter the color of their skin. If someone's a good person they're a good person. It doesn't matter the color of their skin. But quite honestly, this constant race-baiting has to stop. Before we get into this morning's segment on The Captain's America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce, I'd like to comment on Donald Trump's statement attacking Ron DeSantis. Matt and I talked about this in the segment but it bears repeating.The people of Florida elected Ron DeSantis. Donald Trump did not “get” Ron DeSantis elected as governor of Florida. The idea that Ron DeSantis owes Donald Trump loyalty for anything is a wild stretch of the imagination.One of the things that Trump is not thinking through here – and this is why I really can't support him going forward unless he turns out to be the nominee for the Republican Party, and then it'll be reluctantly this time – is that he's losing the people of Florida by attacking Florida's governor.Floridians love Ron DeSantis. As a matter of fact, he's got a great reputation with most of the true constitutional conservatives across the country. Donald Trump, should he be the nominee, cannot win without collecting Florida's Electoral College votes. He just can't. There's no pathway to the White House that doesn't include Florida.He's also ticking off people in Texas. If you lose both Florida and Texas I don't even know why you bother running unless you want to be a disruptor like Ross Perot.And what did we get when Ross Perot ran? He may have had some good ideas but when you are too egotistical and too stubborn to understand that you are causing more harm than good then you cause that harm! It appears that's what Donald Trump seems to be wanting to do today; to attack his opponents in the primary as he did before when we needed a disruptor. But he's destroying the Republican Party because of it!Now there's a sidecar to this.I'm not a fan of Ronna McDaniel. That she got re-elected was an inside power play that should tick every rank-and-file Republican off.So, just like we should be insisting that our state governments claw back power from the federal government so that our state governments are rightfully reinstalled as the most powerful government in our lives – our Framers wanted the states to have more power than the federal government (the federal government was supposed to be a stop-gap) – if you are going to make a contribution to somebody who's running for office in your state, give it to the state party or, better yet, give it directly to the campaign.In the day of the digital age the federal political party…it's kind of a cash cow for people to have expensive office furniture, if you catch my drift. So, give directly to the candidates you support. There's enough grifting going on.But as for Donald Trump and his statements, if he keeps attacking Ron DeSantis Ron DeSantis's people have to start attacking Donald Trump. Is that really what he wants? Before we get into this morning's segment on The Captain's America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce, I’d like to send my condolences to everybody who is affected by the mass shooting in California.I do want to point out that you had the “usual suspects” getting to the microphones as fast as they could get to them: Adam Schiff, Eric Swalwell, and a couple of other very far radical Left miscreants, who are claiming it was “White supremacy! White supremacy! White supremacy!”No. It turned out to be an elderly Asian man who was going through some emotional things because of a failed relationship.This needs to be proof positive that the race-baiting Left needs to be exposed in this country. You can't automatically kneejerk to such an incredibly damaging accusation without proof, and the left continuously acts without proof when they start playing the blame game.And it's all for political purposes; it's all for the advancement of a political agenda. It has nothing to do with the truth. It has nothing to do with humanity.What we really need to do, when it comes to what they term “gun violence” – which has nothing to do with the gun being violent, it has everything to do with the person who's pulling the trigger being violent – is we need to address mental health in this country a lot better than we do today.If our society is so intensely on the edge then we, as a society, have to learn how to pull back from that a little bit so that people aren't motivated to believe that killing somebody or ending their life as they know it is the only answer. Before we get to today's segment on TalkBack with Chuck Wilder, I want to talk a little bit more about who's culpable for the top secret documents being in Joe Biden's garage…and his personal office…and every other place they're not supposed to be.If you have a Chief of Staff – for president or a vice president or anybody at that level of government, that Chief of Staff is obligated to know about every single thing that goes on in that office. He or she is in charge. So, while Joe Biden may not have known what documents were in boxes next to his Corvette in the garage, Ron Klain, his Chief of Staff – both from when he was Vice President and now as President – should have known exactly what was in those boxes and what documents were contained therein.He needed to know where these documents were, when they were transported, who transported them, and why they were transported to where they were transported.Ron Klain is the hardcore radical Leftist that manages the White House today. So, as we start talking about culpability and who should be held accountable for these documents being illegally in locations they're not supposed to be.It's not an oversight. They were illegally removed. A crime has been committed and that's an absolute; there's no arguing away from that. It doesn't matter whether the Biden White House is “cooperating” with the National Archives, is “cooperating” with the Special Counsel or is cooperating with the DoJ. The fact that the top secret documents were there means a crime was committed and that's what we need to focus on:* Who knew about it?* When did they know about it?* Why was it authorized?* Who moved them?Everyone who knew about these top secret documents being in Delaware or being at the University of Pennsylvania – when they weren't supposed to be there – they are culpable; they've committed a crime. and it all starts with Ron Klain, Joe Biden's Chief of Staff.So, let's look at him. Let's look at what he said. Let's look at who he directed. Because if he didn't know about the movement of top secret documents out of a SCIF that whole hierarchy at the White House has to go.I also want to take issue with the way Chuck Schumer is responding to this crime.A recent talking head show visit by the Senate Majority Leader (sampled in the podcast) is demonstrably different from the way he sounded when Mar-A-Lago was raided by the FBI looking for top secret documents.This is the kind of hypocrisy that makes people hate politicians.Chuck Schumer is still the Majority Leader in the Senate because we had people who didn't show up to the polls or, if they did, they were all freaked out by the propaganda about MAGA candidates. We needed a sea change election this past midterm, a sea change that never materialized.Those of you who didn't vote or didn't vote for someone because they said they were MAGA or they believed the last election may have been skewed, only to re-elect the same people back to Washington (who are spending like drunken sailors into the trillions and trillions and trillions of dollars), you've got to wake up! You've got to wake up. You've got to start voting for people who are good for the country rather than whether they've got a D behind their name or they've got an R behind their name. There are some Republicans I would and will never vote for including Mitchich McConnell. He's got to go too.It's not just on the Left. It's on the Right, too. Before we get to this morning segment on The Captain's America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce, I’d like to acknowledge Martin Luther King Jr. Day.It's important that we start circling back – and I hate to use that term because of Jen Psaki, I mean no disrespect by using it – but we need to circle back to the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We have gotten to a point where we are judging people; our society is judging people by the color of their skin, especially on the caustic Left.They have completely abandoned Martin Luther King Jr's teachings and abdicated their fidelity to the Civil Rights Movement. Today, all the radical Left does is judge people by their skin color and it is reprehensible.Critical Race Theory is racism. And I know that people on the Left would call me a racist for saying that but the fact is they are the racists. They're judging people because of the color of their skin without even knowing them; without even caring to know about them. And they compound that by saying the sins of several generations past stain people today and will always stain people in the future.That's ridiculous.So, in commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, I'm asking you to start pushing back on these idiots and opportunists; those who are trying to use race to further their own selfish needs, desires, and agendas.I'm going to play a portion of the I Have a Dream Speech that we should all remember and return to when we talk about race in the United States. We have more in common than we have in difference. We were well on our way to being healed before the Obama Administration. I blame today's contemporary fascist Left for rekindling the divisions of racism in the United States, and they're doing it all to advance an agenda.So, please listen to these words. Before we get into this episode of Talkback with Chuck Wilder – in which I get into the Right’s ineptitude when it comes to messaging and conveying a cohesive and coherent narrative, I'd like to take issue with a podcast I heard from the FOX News podcast network in which they talk to someone from the University of Virginia about the Electoral College.Nowhere in that interview was it stated that the Electoral College's primary purpose is to protect the middle country – flyover country – from the urban areas when it comes to being overrun by a purely democratic election.When we vote for President we vote for Electors. Those Electors are determined by the census. If we were a pure democracy, where we went with a national vote total, people in rural areas would never have their voices heard. Politicians would only campaign in urban areas because it would be cost-effective in gleaning the most votes. So, you would see Blue cities owning the United States government forever.Politicians would only campaign in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Boston…I hope you're starting to get my drift.These are all Blue cities filled with Blue voters. I'm not saying there's not any Republicans in these locations but they never win because they're not the majority of the voters. So, if you've got politicians that are only catering to the urban areas you get a woke nation 24/7 365…for the rest of time!The Electoral College protects the electorate from that. It gives a voice to the states that don't have New York Citys and Chicagos and Philadelphias. It balances our election system out. The Electoral College protects the rights of the minority.The fact that somebody who was brought on to a FOX podcast to talk about what the purpose of the Electoral College and the protection point was never broached? The only thing I got out of that podcast was that the Electoral College was an antiquated system that we're stuck with. A more uneducated take on the Electoral College I have never heard.And as the Left tries to move our country to say, “Hey, for President of the United States we should have a national vote and and the majority should win!” That's mob rule and that gives the overwhelming advantage to urban areas only. Do you want Lori Lightfoot to be the main influence in who's the President of the United States? Do you want Los Angeles's mayor to have an over-weighted representation in who is elected our President of the United States? Imagine Bill de Blasio having more to say about it than you!It is beyond time that we understand the mechanics of the civics entailed in our form of government. We must get this education back into the schools. It's obvious that when someone working at a major university is brought on to a major news podcast network and they never mention that the Electoral College protects the rights of the minority. It is obvious that we are in deep trouble when it comes to people who are espousing what things “are” and what things “aren't.”We need to get educated on this issue because if the Electoral College goes the country is finished; it's over. It's a very important thing to address and we all need to be curious about why people in university positions don't understand that the number one important aspect of the Electoral College is to protect the rights of the minority. Before we hit this morning's episode of The Captain's America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce – broadcast on the Salem and Genesis Communications Networks, I'd like to acknowledge that Joe Biden actually visited somewhere near the border in El Paso, Texas.The media is celebrating it; all of a sudden it's getting the attention that it should have been getting from the second Biden took office. But we have to ask ourselves a sincere question: What did it serve?What did it prove? What did it accomplish? Nothing.If the White House didn't know that the southern border was porous and that people were just pouring over the border in record numbers then they’re delinquent in understanding what's going on in the country.So, it's impossible for me to believe they didn't know the southern border – in Texas and Arizona especially – we're wide open. It's ludicrous to think they didn't know this.What took place with Biden getting down to the border was an exercise in gaslighting. He's feigning that he cares about the border when a stroke of his pen two years ago could have rectified what is happening at the border today.To think that when he gets to Mexico City to talk with the Mexican President that the Mexican Government is going to do anything to help us on the border…that's just Insanity. It took President Trump to threaten the country of Mexico with economic pain before they'd even think about helping us.So, this entire exercise of Biden taking his entourage down to the border and exploiting a photo op and saying he's going to be engaged in securing the border, in helping these poor downtrodden people, and…it's all BS. Nothing is going to change.And with the Republicans not actually taking control of the Senate during the midterms Mayorkas isn't going anywhere because he can't be impeached and removed. There are consequences to not showing up for elections and I'm hoping that people on the Right side of the aisle who didn't show up because “orange man bad” and people in the middle who didn't show up because “orange man bad” understand the errors of their ways. At this point, what we thought would be a ship turning around and heading back in the right direction, well, it is not going to happen. We just pulled the throttle back a little bit. Biden on the Border? It served nothing. It accomplished nothing. It means nothing. Until we have a new administration that’s serious about national sovereignty, the status quo will remain. Before we get into yesterday morning’s segment on The Captain's America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce, I’d like to acknowledge that US Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), is the new Speaker of the House…after 15 votes. That’s the first time that's happened in a hundred years and then only after having acquiesced to some demands that, quite honestly, weren't that unreasonable. The Speaker of the House has a lot of power just because of the position. You don't need to amass more power underneath that position to run the chamber as a totalitarian as Nancy Pelosi did. There is a great article by Glenn Greenwald – not necessarily someone from the Right camp – that talks about how lockstep the Left is and how the narrative that the Right just follows their leaders and never questions authority is really just a false narrative. It's a great article. He's got it over at Rumble. Go take a listen. I was impressed with it.But, as we move forward, we need to make sure that the things that we were promised come to pass. We need to make sure that Kevin McCarthy's Republican contingent in the House repeals funding for the 87,000 new IRS agents, perhaps moving that funding over to make sure we have enough people on the border to close it.We have to be fiscally responsible. Republicans have not been in recent decades.And we have to start asking ourselves if we, as a people, are really free with the way government is executed today. In every aspect of your life ask yourself, “How free am I? Am I free to do as I please?”Keep in mind the adage, “your right to throw a punch ends where my nose begins” because that's how we have to be here in our Republic. Everybody has rights your rights don't supersede another's. The Left doesn't understand that. That's why they try to elevate factions above one another; to create chaos and discontent and divisions so that they can cobble together their “coalitions” to find that 51 percent in any election.Everybody has rights. Everybody's rights must be respected. It doesn't matter what your gender. It doesn't matter what your race. It doesn't matter how you identify. Take all of that garbage; all of that label garbage away and every individual has rights granted by our Creator. And we need to start asking ourselves, “How free are we? “How much of our liberty; how much of our freedom have we ceded to the government under the guise of safety and protection?”We don't need government to protect us, less from enemies foreign and domestic and that definition of enemy is pretty clear. It's not protecting us from credit card companies. If a credit card company wants to charge 32 percent interest than they're going to charge 32 percent interest. Don't use the card. Don't apply for it. You take responsibility for what happens to you.Every time we take more responsibility for our own actions and our own decisions the less we need government and the freer we are.So, we need to start asking that question about everything that we see in the news, everything that we touch during our normal course of events every day: “How free are we? How much freedom have we given away? And how much freedom can we take back?”So, with this new Congress, let's keep an eye on that. We don't want to see an expansion of government. We want to see a decrease in government authority over our individual lives. Before we get to this morning’s segment on The Captain's America: Third Watch with Matt Bruce, I'd like to take a moment to talk about the attacks on New York City Police Department personnel on New Year's Eve into New Year's Day in the Big Apple.The FBI says the person who executed the machete attack on three law enforcement officers on New Year's Eve was on their radar, yet they didn't do anything about it; didn't do anything to get in front of this lone-wolf attack from an Islamofascist terrorist who was trying to make a statement and cause terror and chaos on New Year's Eve in the biggest city in the United States.I can't help but wonder. If the FBI were more focused on investigating and preventing real violent crime, real egregious crime in the United States and not being used for political persecution, like they are under the Biden administration – and probably were under the Obama administration quite honestly, then maybe this attack wouldn't have happened. Maybe they would have been paying enough attention to have circumvented this tragedy.The idea that the DoJ and the FBI have been politicized is completely anathema to what the United States Executive Branch is supposed to be.The Executive Branch is not supposed to have discretionary power to the level that it has today. It is supposed to execute well-written laws that Congress provides and the President signs into law. Right now we’ve got crap legislation coming out of Congress and they kick the can over to the Executive Branch to give the many departments and agencies regulatory power to literally create legislation. That's not the way it’s supposed to work and you can thank Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, and let's throw in LBJ as well for this situation.Our Department of Justice and our FBI have to get back to investigating real crimes and dispensing color-blind, gender-blind, and non-partisan justice when it's called for. Before we get to this morning's segment on TalkBack with Chuck Wilder where we discuss “The Government Cares About Your Health? Not By A Long Shot,” I want to take a second to talk about the referrals - the criminal charge referrals - that were issued from the so-called January 6th committee to the Department of Justice regarding Donald Trump.We have to look at this in the beginning - and primarily - for the fact that this entire committee is a partisan hit job. If it weren't partisan it would have had the minority party’s preferred representation instead of Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney, two people who do not represent the mainstream of the Republican caucus in the House. Or it would have been referred to an independent committee that was established using both the majority in the minority leaders to establish who was supposed to be in this independent of the House committee.So, right off the bat, this January 6th committee is illegitimate because of how it was constructed and with whom. That brings up an ethical issue.If anybody should be brought up on ethics investigations it should be Nancy Pelosi in her seating of this committee. It was unethical for her to hammer through the seating of this committee with people that don't represent the minority. This is because we have a Republic. We're not a mob-rule nation; we're not a democracy. We are a Republic, a representative government. People who voted for Donald Trump - or at least believed in his policies - were not represented on this committee so it's not representative. It's a travesty that it came from the House of Representatives.As far as the referrals are concerned, these referrals don't hold a lot of weight unless the Department of Justice wants to act on them. If the Department of Justice acts on them under Merrick Garland - taking action against an ex-president and somebody who's declared for the upcoming general election - there's no other way to look at it but it being a partisan attack.You can't use the government to go after your political opponents. That's what they do in Venezuela and Bolivia; in Third World despot nations. We are developing, quickly, into that with this executive branch government that's in place today.The Biden administration is a disgrace when it comes to standing up for the American system and form of government. They shit on it at every opportunity just so they can get their way politically.Politics is not government. Politics is the act of getting elected. We should be banning politics from the halls of government so that everybody is served equally. We don't do that today. As matter of fact, it's in reverse. It's all about politics and it's never about good government.With regard to Donald Trump. Is he a good orator? No, he's not. He's a very brash human being that is used to getting his way. But just because you don't like him doesn't mean you get to trample on his free speech rights. Even Presidents of the United States have free speech rights. If Trump wants to say that he believes that the election was stolen he gets to say that, on any platform anywhere in the public square.This is how I often thought about the Alex Jones subject. Do I believe what Alex Jones says about Sandy Hook? No, I don't. Does he have the right to say it? Yeah, he does. So, do neo-Nazis get to say what they believe? Yes, they do. We don't have to condone it. We don't have to accept it. We don't have to be in line with it. But we have to defend their right to free speech and right now we're not doing that in this country. Social media is absolutely - again - taking a shit on the First Amendment right to free speech because they don't feel that what is being said is appropriate or kind or politically correct or woke.This whole woke movement is a desecration of the rights that limit government and an aggressive attack on the fact that we live with these freedoms every single day, 24/7/365. It's the way we're supposed to live. The Bill of Rights is supposed to limit government from encroaching on our protected natural state. Our society is supposed to live with these freedoms as a constant. So, the January 6th committee…it's a joke and it would be laughable if it wasn't so serious; that it's at the highest levels of government; that they're playing political favorites opportunism rather than executing good government.Politics has become the cancer in the United States. it divides people. It divides neighborhoods. It divides families. Not By A Long Shot!” I want to comment on something that Matt and I touch on in the first segment which is this poll over at Twitter that Elon Musk put up saying, “Hey, if you don't want me to run Twitter go ahead and say yes or no and if if you don't want me to then I'll just I won't run it.”You need to think this through - and outside the box - so that you understand what Elon Musk has done here. Quite honestly it's brilliant.One, he's not going to sell the company even if he keeps his fidelity to his offer in that poll. He’s not going to sell the company. He's just not going to be the person that runs it day-to-day. And people on the Left, be careful what you wish for because you don't know who he's going to put in the CEO position! You could be worse than what he's doing now, from your perspective.He's not leaving Twitter. Twitter is not going to be sold. The new rules aren't going to change. The fascist Left hates Elon Musk so much they kneejerked in their response to the poll which leads me to point number two.By responding to this poll, the data that he actually has access to will show him who the “bots” are. Remember, before he bought Twitter he said there were a lot more bots than real accounts and that he didn’t think it was worth what he had to pay; that those bots have to go. Those bots give false readings when it comes to the popularity of posts.For example, take the imbecile Rob Reiner whose tweets are imbecilic and devoid of any flavor of reality. Frankly, it's just stunning that someone who has been so successful can be so incredibly stupid. If you go over to his Twitter feed I warn you, get a barf bag ready because the guy is off in Left field and his arrogance makes you want to vomit. But you will see the fake number of followers “Meathead” has.What Elon Musk did was to identify the bots for expungement. So he's crazy like a fox. He is not going anywhere. Twitter is not going anywhere. And the people who use bots that actually weight polls like this to a disingenuous end, well, they just stepped out into the light to be targeted. God bless you and stay safe.I also want to talk about the ability of the Republican Party on the federal level to shoot itself in the foot.As we're going forward toward the new Congress, Kevin McCarthy is having some issues with some people in his caucus about getting the required 218 votes to be Speaker of the House. We have some people on the far-Right side of the spectrum - who I support almost 99 percent of the time; I can't support them in this, throwing a wrench into the machine that opens the door for the opposition to neuter your potency going forward.There are several members of the Republican Party in the House of Representatives who are flat-out admitting they won’t vote for Kevin McCarthy. McCarthy is not my first choice. I think he tends to be a little bit more liberal than I would care for, but he is a deal-maker and he is what's going forward in the upcoming Congress.We've already had a preliminary fight where US Rep. Biggs only gleaned 31 votes for Speaker. McCarthy took the overwhelming majority. Before I get into this morning segment with Matt Bruce, I want to touch on something that we discussed in one of the latter segments and that is a statement by future House Speaker McCarthy about starting the investigations into, I believe, 21 people who had something to do with Russiagate.Unless there's something that's going to come out of an investigation like this it's really just another opportunity to showboat.We need to expunge the political careerists at the Department of Justice and in the FBI because they've been politicized. Those departments are not supposed to be politicized. Justice is supposed to be blind. Justice and the pursuit of justice is supposed to not see political party. That's not the case today.Larger than that is the failure of the Republican Party – at State and National levels – to understand that you can't just keep demonizing your opposition and expect to win elections. You need to explain to the people what your policies are, how they will affect them in a positive way, and how you're going to go about establishing them so they could be executed.The last midterm election should have been proof positive that if all you're going to do is demonize the other party and make the contest a cult of personality you're going to lose.We’ve got two years to go before the General Election in 2024. Before I get into how the DNC tossed two-time loser Stacey Abrams under the bus, this week, I need to address the horrific prisoner swap executed by the Biden administration.I've been writing and speaking a lot lately about culture and the culture wars in the United States and that's because our politics; our government stems from our culture. What our culture mandates is what we get. That's why the saying goes, “You get the government that you vote for.”Our government has exhibited an incredible contempt for Americanism in how they went about the release of Brittney Griner. They could have negotiated the release of Paul Whelan, who is incarcerated in Russia on espionage charges but who maintains his innocence.Griner knowingly went to Russia with things she knew she shouldn't have brought, admitted she was guilty, and was sentenced to prison. So, why does Griner's release mean more than securing the release of an ex-Marine who is charged with espionage but who maintains his innocence?It's because of the demographic. The Biden administration and the radical Left in the United States only sees skin color when it comes to anything. They saw a Black female and – automatically – she needs to be the priority, not the White male.We can't get past the era of racism – which really was put to bed during the 70s – if we don't stop looking at skin color in everything, and this is starting to be the case with gender, too. This dovetails into the piece that's the headline over at Underground USA today, “Leftist Activists Prove Points After Being Attacked By Fringe Left Thugs”.We all must engage in the culture wars because the government doesn't have a say over our culture, even though they're trying to right now. They're trying to socially engineer and that will affect culture and if they can get control of culture our nation is dead; then we live in a totalitarian country, and its on that path.The culture wars mean you don't shy away from talking to your neighbor, talking to your family, talking to your friends about current events and that includes politics, government, morality, and ethics. We need to start having conversations about this because right now we have a government that lacks morals in a great manner and has no ethic. They're willing to manipulate the truth to manipulate the people. That's our fault because we refuse to talk about politics and culture and ethics and morality with our family, friends, and neighbors.We've been told it's not polite to talk about politics but at this point, if you don't care about survival, maintain that attitude. it doesn't mean you have to get into an argument about it. It doesn't need to be that. You can have a civil discussion and you can agree to disagree but we need to get these issues out on the table because right now the federal government has changed our country, over the past 50 years and probably even more, to a centralized form of government which our Framers abhorred. They equated that with monarchy, tyranny, despotism, and totalitarianism.So as we go forward in this Christmas Season let's not only remember the reason for the season (it’s not materialism) let's also engage in talking about our culture, civil, kindly, and wholeheartedly, with the people we love. Recently I penned an article titled, Do We Really Understand The Meaning Of Freedom, in which I laid out several events - recent events - where government, bureaucracy, and special interests have successfully encroached on our freedoms.Like the frog in the pot that is finally coming to a boil, many Americans not only exist unaware of their dwindling freedom, but have embraced the re-definition of the word and the concept; the definition crafted by the fascist Left in our culture.The only way to reclaim our freedom - to rightfully reclaim our freedoms; our rights guaranteed in the Bill of Rights - is to re-establish the base definition of freedom in every sphere of our lives.We need to not only embrace the traditional definition of freedom, we need to start electing people to federal office who understand that their core jobs are not to "create laws"; to "legislate", but to represent their constituencies.
