Carol Taggart's 30 year old son Ross reported his mum missing. He explained that they had argued at the house they shared and his mum had stormed out and he was concerned as this was out of character. When Kenneth Noye faced trial for the murder of 21 year old Stephen Cameron, stabbed to death in front of his 17 year old fiancee Danielle Cable just by the M25 in Swanley, Kent, one of the witnesses was 40 year old Alan Decabral. In the early hours of the morning, in Central Park in Plymouth, the bodies of Terry Sweet and Bernie Hawken were discovered lying just 200 yards apart in the park and it was clear that both had suffered a violent assault. On the Friday, Suzanne Blamires went missing from her housing association home in the Allerton district of Bradford. Her family were immediately concerned for her welfare, but for the police Suzanne – or Amber as she was known on the streets - was a sex worker with a heroin habit and in a life that was often chaotic, they had little to go on. And by Monday Suzanne still hadn’t been found. The A1 (M) is a busy motorway, and at 6.17pm on a summers day there were a few issues northbound due to an earlier fuel spillage. The international crime gang had planned everything, covered every detail.And as 33 year old Andrew Cole stood on the deck, he realised that his whole life depended on what happened in the next few hours. Andrew was listed as crew on the manifest, but his role was a very clear one – it was up to him to ensure the safe receipt, passage and transfer of the cocaine to a crew who were going to come out from the UK to take delivery of it near the English Channel. 20 year old Anna Kenny was walking to George Square in the centre of Glasgow to get a bus home when she was taken from the street and never seen alive again. Nobody has ever been convicted of her murder.In 2021, along with co-author Chris Clark, I released a book, 'Gone Fishing' about serial killer Angus Sinclair where we suggested that Sinclair was responsible for the murder of Anna Kenny. Can it just be coincidence that Anna's friend who was with her on the night she went missing married Sinclair's brother-in-law Gordon Hamilton? However, when the officer failed to return and couldn’t be contacted, his colleague PC Mick Clipston was sent out to find the missing officer. Carradale is a village on the east coast of Kintyre, off the west coast of Scotland and looking over the west coast of the Isle of Aaron in the Firth of Clyde. It was a dark, winters morning as the 10 men group carried out maintenance on the railway line near Tebay. The men wore their safety helmets to block out the noise of their machinery and there was no look-out as the line was closed in both directions. So when the 20 tonne wagon came hurtling down the track towards them at 40 miles per hour it was completely unexpected. When at about 10.45pm the 999 call came through, the operator could never have known it was one they would never forget. The man was 29 year old Stephen Carson from Belfast who was calling from his downstairs toilet. He said: "Hurry up please, there are two people in my house trying to get me. Quick, quick, hurry up."
