Last year was a record-setting year of fires in CA, and it really impacted those living around the Santa Cruz area. In August 2020 the fires were dangerously close to campus. As Santa Cruz is already are having a very hot and dry summer, we should be prepared for fires this fall. Savannah and Frances also go over what to expect in terms of evacuation, especially for students who may be moving to California for the first time.
