Google has a range of new products, four in fact and the blokes break it down. While the smartphones get the headlines, it's the Chromecast with Google TV that has us talking. Android TV on a chromecast? Sign me up! And how does the Pixel 5 stack up against the Pixel 4a 5G and why would you get the 5 when the 4a 5G is so good? Telstra's plan to slowly offer 5G home internet to customers, Vodafone's new approach to unlimited, Hisense Dual Cell TV reviewed. And Trev's been buying junk again online, thoughts on that, plus Amazon's new devices too!

Great news for millions of Aussies with Gigabit broadband coming, upgrades to the HFC, FTTC networks will see faster speeds, while huge parts of the FTTN network will get Fibre if they want it. But who misses out? Not many people talking about that. Plus, Console Christmas Wars. GoPro has a new Hero9 camera, stunning stabilisation, but bigger and fatter - which is GOOD! Bose comes back with the Sleepbuds - all improved. The all new iPad and why its better and a huge step up for most people and finally, a staggering story about a man at the Commonwealth Bank.

An early start this morning for Apple's big event. The event went fast, shorter than this podcast in fact, but there was a lot to get through. Stephen and Trevor unpack the announcements bit by bit including the Apple Watch Series 6, the new features, the new Series SE and a great feature for families too. Plus the all new iPad is improved but changes very little on the outside, other than that the iPad Air is the standout - all new design, new colours and loads of power too.

Apple has announced their September event, but this one comes with a difference - will there even be an iPhone announced? The blokes discuss Watch and iPad rumours, along with the history of having an event at this time. Xbox Series X pricing announced, well ahead of Playstation and the pricing doesn't look too bad at $749. The boys have both bought a new Rubik's Cube that's smart and connected the GoCube - hear how it works. Plus the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live do they fit, do they work? Plus Dan Murphy's new drive through option with Number Plate recognition and the Oppo Watch - what's it remind us of?

Samsung's 2020 Unpacked event this August was very different. Hosted online from the company HQ not at a gala event in New York the company took the chance to launch a huge range of new products. The Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Ultra, a new pro tablet the Tab S7, a new Smart Watch and new earphones. The blokes discuss it all, including an update to the Fold! Plus, TCL's new 10 series smartphones under the review challenge, Google's affordable pixel hitting Australia soon too. And Apple updates the iMac - on the inside, and Arlo launches a standalone camera at an entry level price.

The blokes are grounded for some time - CES 2021 has been canned as a physical event and will go "all digital" - how that works? Well we don't really know. Plus Huawei surge past Samsung as the world's biggest smartphone manufacturer despite their dramas in many countries. Trev takes to the air again with a review of Microsoft Flight Simulator, Stephen looks at the cost of Spotify country vs country. NBN speeds are going up with the network removing overheads and we brush and floss our teeth!

Coronavirus dominates, and we look at the popular searches of the last six months. Facebook introduced App Lock for Messenger, a feature Trev reckons he's seen before and should be available at the Operating System level. Apple's annual iPhone photography competition finds three Aussies winning four prizes! Stephen looks at Samsung's Smart door lock, the blokes enjoy Amazon Echo Auto and Stephen features Ziggy and Zaggy on his website - for good reason:)

Twitter is in big trouble, some of their biggest user accounts were hacked, but not individually - the twitter back end was compromised - what does this mean? Stephen and Trevor discuss. It's world Emoji Day- did you know why? The boys explain, plus discuss some of the new emojis launching later this year. Ecovacs have a whole new model hitting the market, and this one could be a game changer for Robot Vacuums. Netgear launches WiFi 6 mesh systems with two new Orbi units and a new Nighthawk product. Ford launches their connected car app FordPass for remote control of some car features, and Stephen reviews the Google Pixel Buds.

We're on a Roadtrip recording in Cowra, NSW - driving a Hyundai Santa Fe and Mercedes GLS400d, it's been a great ride. High tech cars, great safety and an amazing satellite navigation feature in the Mercedes you have to hear about. Plus, in Cowra there's 5G! Get that! The NBN is all but complete with 11.6million homes able to connect, has it been worth it? Is $4,500 per home good value? Will the iPhone 12 come with a power adaptor in the box? Will it come with headphones? Big questions ahead of Apple's next big launch. Google brings Dinosaurs to life in Augmented Reality as well as helping you find something to watch, and Amazon's new Robot fulfilment centre in Western Sydney.

A temporary new look to Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference with WWDC being held online. Kicking off today with the "keynote" which was a slick video presentation Stephen and Trevor run through all the changes coming to iOS and iPadOS including Widgets and the App Library on iPhone which should really appeal to many. Watch OS is updating with hand washing instructions and sleep tracking, and the Mac is looking slicker and more iOS like than ever. Plus, a "historic day" for Apple, moving away from Intel processors to their own Silicon.

What do the two blokes think of the PS5? Is it a futuristic bit of kit, or the ugly baby? Lots of speculation still about how much it will be and when, but Sony's next gen console is almost here.
