Apple has announced their September event, with an iPhone 13 due very soon. Trev got the date right, Stephen got the name right - that's the top line. Both blokes unpack what they expect from Apple next Wednesday Morning. On the other side of the fence the two blokes have published reviews of Samsung's Folding phones - what's the verdict? Foxtel gets streaming, with all live channels available on an iQ box ready to record. Optus has your back with reminders for your mates to check in on you, while Trev tries the Backbone One gaming controller for iPhone and Stephen has a bunch of Satechi gear for your work-from-home.

Just a couple of blokes locked down with nothing to do

Telstra updates their network logo on iPhone with a Vaccination plea, and offers rewards for Vaccinated Coverage. Meanwhile Vodafone goes Unlimited with an $85 max speed plan. Meanwhile Apple seems to be winning battles and legal stoushes with tweaks for smaller developers. Trev licks a battery - for testing purposes of course. Window 11 launch date is set, what is it and why. Trev tries out the new Jabra Elite 3 which are outstanding for the price and Stephen considers the online used car dealer Cars24.

Managing your own and your family's screen addiction during lockdown is a challenge, with surveys showing addiction is more of a problem than ever. Plus the new Apple Watch - will it get an all-new look at the upcoming Apple iPhone event, or does it warrant an event of its own. TCL's 20 series smartphones have launched at Harvey Norman and Officeworks so the boys run through the lineup and their thoughts. LG's Rollable OLED TV for those that are "doing very well" launches in Australia as a made-to-order offering. Trev looks at NSW doing well with their Digital Driver's Licence program, Stephen the latest EcoTank printers from EPSON, while Trev uncovers more Apple Look Around cameras in preparation for the launch of the Streetview like service in Australia. Google gets on the train and Stephen's look at the LG Gram laptop.

It's really happening

Apple's latest shiny new things are out, and we've had our first look. The new iMac comes in seven colours but it's the performance that gets forgotten - the Apple M1 makes it a powerhouse, as well as a stunner. The new iPad Pros are equally staggering with the M1 processor, a great screen, 5G connectivity and a nifty video calling feature. Plus, Googles new Android Version, the Samsung and Google watch OS partnership, Apple Music goes high quality, Uber adds subscriptions and Kobos latest e-reader with a twist.

The Plague of Mice

Stephen and Trevor travel to Brisbane to attend the NRL Magic Round opening match at Suncorp Stadium with broadcaster Fox Sports. They see the amazing number and quality of cameras, the systems used to drive the Fox Rover, Fly the Flying Fox and bring the whole broadcast together. Also this week, ABC looking to implement a login system for iView viewing, Google ending the free upload plan for Google Photos, Apple's Work protecting apps and consumers in the App Store plus HTC's latest VR headsets.

Could it finally happen?

Officeworks has removed the Apple AirTags from sale over apparent safety concerns - the blokes have views on this, and it's a topic of great conversation. NBN Fiber to the Home is coming to many more, we discuss the how and why as well as the amazing new Dyson Stick vacuum with a Laser beam to see the dust! TCL's new affordable smartphones are worth a look with 5G under $500 and a camera that blows others away at $299. LG's 2021 TVs get a price tag, and a decade of tech changes revealed by Telsyte.
