You wouldn't know it from the title, or the cover art, but October Sky is the true story of a young man and his mates in a small American Coal Mining town who attempt to build rockets. Starring a young Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Cooper, Chris Owen and Laura Dern, it's a moving story about freindships, family, work, township, and having goals. It's based on four young men who grew up in Coalwood West Virginia and were inspired to build a rocket after the Russians launched Sputnik! Trev's never seen it, nor does he have any idea what it's about. Stephen brings him - and you, on that journey
