It's based on four young men who grew up in Coalwood West Virginia and were inspired to build a rocket after the Russians launched Sputnik! We're turning things on their head this week. Stephen Fenech, our Movie Guru gets taken on a journey to watch The Great Escape for the first time, a movie Trevor Long has rated highly for a long time. It's a true story, with some creative licence, of a P.O.W. camp in Germany built to house some of the craftiest escapees from the Allied forces. Released in 1998, Saving Private Ryan is set in 1944, over a short period from the D-Day landing, starring Tom Hanks as the unlikely captain set a task that's hard to fathom.
