Based on the 1895 H. G. Wells book by the same name, this movie was made in 1960 and while that means some potentially cringey special effects, the story line overpowers any of that. Stephen knows it and loves it, but Trev's never seen it - and being so old - what will he think? Starring Aussie Rod Taylor, it's directed by George Pal and is set in 1899 and beyond. Better than Back to the Future? Not even worth a discussion.

Google held their annual IO event, talking about whats new, whats exiting and launching new products. A full wrap of what's new, a test of their AI and a look at their affordable smartphone, but also a confirmation of a Pixel Fold but disappointment for Aussies. Ford and MG have EV news, with Pricing on the Mach-E and MG4. Trev's not to keen on how Ford have positioned themselves, but the MG has an impressive entry price. Both Blokes very impressed with Samsung's mid-range Galaxy A54 after solid testing it begs the question - why spend more? And Apple brings Pro apps to iPads.
