While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. And they ceased, and there was a calm. 25 But He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!” 26 Then they sailed to the country of the Gadarenes,[c] which is opposite Galilee. 27 And when He stepped out on the land, there met Him a certain man from the city who had demons for a long time. And he wore no clothes, nor did he live in a house but in the tombs. 28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!” 29 For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had often seized him, and he was kept under guard, bound with chains and shackles; and he broke the bonds and was driven by the demon into the wilderness. 30 Jesus asked him, saying, “What is your name?” And he said, “Legion,” because many demons had entered him. 31 And they begged Him that He would not command them to go out into the abyss.32 Now a herd of many swine was feeding there on the mountain. So they begged Him that He would permit them to enter them. And He permitted them. 33 Then the demons went out of the man and entered the swine, and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the lake and drowned. 34 When those who fed them saw what had happened, they fled and told it in the city and in the country. 35 Then they went out to see what had happened, and came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid. 36 They also who had seen it told them by what means he who had been demon-possessed was healed. 37 Then the whole multitude of the surrounding region of the Gadarenes asked Him to depart from them, for they were seized with great fear. And He got into the boat and returned. 38 Now the man from whom the demons had departed begged Him that he might be with Him. But Jesus sent him away, saying, 39 “Return to your own house, and tell what great things God has done for you.” And he went his way and proclaimed throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.

She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. 28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” 29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?” 31 But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’” 32 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. 33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. 34 And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.” Mark 5:21-34

Because of God’s grace everyone will be saved - - regardless of how you live, everyone will go to heaven.” - Carlton Pearson 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders. Matthew 27:3 NIV So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself. Matthew 27:5 NIV Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8 NIV 2. Many People Carry Resentment In Their Heart Toward God. 3. You Need To Forgive Family Members. 4. There Has To Be Forgiveness For Anybody Else Who Has Done Anything Against You. 5. We All Need Forgiveness From God.

#1. Jesus Taught That Believers Are To Pray In His Name! And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:13 “… Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. John 16:23 “… Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. 24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full...26 In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; 27 for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God. John 16:23-24, 26-27 #2. There Is Only One Way To God, and That Is Through His Son, Jesus Christ! but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name. John 20:31 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 #3. The Name Of Jesus Carries Power And Authority In Three Worlds. 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; Mark 16:15-17 #4. The Name Of Jesus Belongs To Every Believer.

#1. Recognize That God Loves Lost People (Luke 15). However Lost People Are Blinded By Demonic Deception. Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT The Lord is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 #2. Remember Your Goal Is To See Lost People, Born-Again Of The Imperishable Seed Of God’s Word. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. 1 Peter 1:23 #3. Offer Yourself As A Laborer To God. Pray, “Lord, You can use me to bring others to Christ!” …“The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Matthew 9:37-38 #4. Pray For The Conviction Of The Holy Spirit Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. 8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me; John 16:7-8 #5. Ask God To Forgive You Of Any Resentment In Your Heart Toward The Person. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” John 20:23 #6. When Praying For A Lost Spouse or Child, Believe God To Help You Have A “Holy” Influence On Them. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy. 1 Corinthians 7:14 #7. As You Pray For The Lost, Fully Consecrate Your Own Life To God! 11 Then she made a vow and said, “O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head.” 1 Samuel 1:1-11 18 But Samuel ministered before the Lord, even as a child, wearing a linen ephod. 1 Samuel 2:18

9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Matthew 6:9 6 But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises. Hebrews 8:6 NLT The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand. Psalms 37:23-24 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:10 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 “You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 2:1 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10 11 Give us this day our daily bread. Matthew 6:11 12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. Matthew 6:12 13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. Matthew 6:13 And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one. To Pray Effectively, Make Sure You Are Praying In Light Of The Finished Work Of Christ On-The-Cross. 30 …“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:30-31 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, Romans 8:16-17 #3. Prayer Isn’t Trying To Twist God’s Arm, To Make Him Do Something, He Doesn’t Want To Do. Prayer Is Communion (Fellowship) With God. Prayer is Receiving By Faith What God Has Already Done For Us In Christ! 6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. James 1:12-15 13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 #1. Always Remember: Jesus Was Tempted By The Devil Just Like You Are! Yet He Successfully Overcame Every Temptation! 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15 #2. Learn To Stand On The Word Of God and Speak It Aloud In The Face Of Temptation. 3 And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” 4 But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’” 5 Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. 7 Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.” 8 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! "The bigger the battle the bigger the victory!" #1. When You Give To God, You are Moving In the Opposite Direction Of The Devil. 5 This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Look at what’s happening to you! 6 You have planted much but harvest little. You eat but are not satisfied. You drink but are still thirsty. You put on clothes but cannot keep warm. Your wages disappear as though you were putting them in pockets filled with holes! Haggai 1:5-6 NLT 23 “What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from your herb gardens, but you ignore the more important aspects of the law—justice, mercy, and faith. You should tithe, yes, but do not neglect the more important things. Matthew 23:23 NLT #2. Giving and Receiving Is A Battle, Because The Devil Doesn’t Want You To Have Anything – Especially Not Money. “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth… Deuteronomy 8:18 38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38 #3. The Bible Says That Our Prayers Are Answered Because Of Our Giving! Cornelius answered: “Three days ago I was in my house praying at this hour, at three in the afternoon. Suddenly a man in shining clothes stood before me 31 and said, ‘Cornelius, God has heard your prayer and remembered your gifts to the poor. Acts 10:30-31 NIV Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. 11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts; Malachi 3:10-11 #4. Solomon, The Wisest, Richest Man In The World At The Time He Was King, Learned The Secret Of Giving. You Should Thank and Praise God for Delivering You Out Of Situations That Only He Could Save Your From. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! Psalms 9:1 Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Proverbs 6:2 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; Deuteronomy 30:19 #2. You Have To Realize That Your Words Carry Power In The Realm Of The Unseen. Your Words Carry Power In The Realm Of The Spirit. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. Matthew 12:36 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:21 #3. What Comes Out Of Your Mouth Not Only Affects Everyone Around You, But It Actually Affects You! It Stops You From Moving Forward In The Things Of God. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. Psalms 19:14 #4. Remorse is a deep regret or guilt for a wrong committed, that often results in self-resentment and self-hatred. Repentance means to turn away from your sin and past, and turn to God’s grace and forgiveness. Five Cause of Regret: 1.
