Episode #116 I met The Naked Gardener on a podcast where we were both invited to discuss the topic of food. I liked what she was about and followed my excitement to invite her to the show. I was so thankful and excited that the conversation went directly into how stress is directly linked to disease. That is a HUGE takeaway! In particular, we discussed the tremendous amount of stress she had from a toxic relationship that she overcame. If you are in a relationship that is not serving your excitement and happiness then it is dragging down your health. Don’t kid yourself… toxic relationships have no business in anyone's life. If you find yourself there then you have choices. One, open up a dialog and see if your partner is open to listening and making changes. Two, you can leave the relationship. Three, you can stay where you're at and be miserable. It's your choice! Episode #115 Michelle Pfile was overweight as a child and most of her adult life. She also developed Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) at the age of 18. Episode #113 Lynn Wiltshire was married with a new child and a high-paying corporate job and life were good until she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Episode #108 Western culture teaches us to fear death which really handicaps us to never truly live. We avoid death at all costs. Episode #102 Another special episode with my good friend Blake Bars, the General Manager of Nature’s Pantry, my hometown health foods store. I remember meeting Blake when he started working there and his health and his growth as a human being have been amazing to watch. Blake is now a leader in his community but it always wasn’t that way. Like myself when he was young he was always getting into trouble. I found out that Blake just got caught a lot more than I did and was surprised to learn that he was an alcoholic from 16 -28 years old. Blake turned that all around and now he is helping others do the same. My props to Blake and all he has accomplished. Episode #99 Doing some outreach calls to new clients I met Cody Smith. Cody is a Navy Veteran that went for a relaxing motorcycle ride and a week or so later woke up in a hospital with his body ripped apart and no use of his legs. His wife who was also a navy veteran was 5 months pregnant at the time. Cody sent me some pics of the accident he was in and a long text about what happened. He was very lucky to be alive and had to completely reinvent himself. Episode #91 For years I have been pissed off about Amazon getting government subsidies for shipping their packages through the United States Postal Service (USPS). Basically, we taxpayers pay $1.46 of Amazon's shipping costs which means scumbag politicians and big corporations once again are screwing the working-class people. This also gives them an unfair advantage in the marketplace. Then I heard that Amazon was so hell-bent on getting packages out fast that they were basically forcing their drivers to urinate and defecate in bottles and bags in their delivery trucks! Also inside the warehouse workers were treated like slaves and pretty much no one is happy working there so that means they are all lowering their immune systems with stress and dissatisfaction. When one of my clients who works for Amazon started giving me the inside scoop I knew I had to tell people about this so that everyone will STOP BUYING THROUGH AMAZON. Every dollar you send their way is a vote against your fellow working-class citizen and the destruction of our quality for life. Use Amazon as a search engine if you want but then please go directly to the manufacturer, buy direct, and happily pay to ship and wait a damn day or two extra. Episode #87 In 1980 one out of ten thousand children were diagnosed with autism. In 2020, the CDC reported that approximately 1 in 54 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Boys are four times more likely to be diagnosed with autism than girls. Dan and Ashley’s story of their baby boy, Grant, who got Autism at age 1 ½ years old is a story from tragedy to triumph. After three years of hell trying to raise their children with Grant’s emotional outbursts and his constant physical abuse to himself, Dan and Ashley started doing their homework and came up with their own game plan for their child's recovery since the current system told them there was nothing they could do… “just live with it”. After stacking new foods, supplements and habits together their son started making eye contact again and talking. Keep in mind he had only said two words as a 4-year-old. Their story is not only an inspiration but a road map for other parents to follow to help their children with autism and prevent other kids from getting it in the first place. Episode #86 Harold Turk knew instinctively after his first chiropractic adjustment made him feel amazing that he wanted to pursue that profession and help others feel good too! After practicing chiropractic for many years one of his patients was telling him about this lady who practiced the ancient bodywork technique done by the Maori people from New Zealand.
