Monday February 13, 2017 was a warmer than normal day in the city of Delphi, Indiana. 14-year old Libby and 13-year-old Abby were excited to have a day off from school. The two decided to go for a hike on the Monon High Bridge Trail, not far from their homes. When Libby’s father arrived to pick the girls up, he couldn’t reach the girls by phone. He walked the trail, looking for the girls, figuring they’d simply lost track of time. Less than 24 hours later, the deceased bodies of both girls were found, less than a mile from where they began their hike. It was clear from the scene that the girls had been victims of homicide, but what wasn’t clear was who targeted these teenage girls and why their day at the trails had ended so tragically. Twin sisters Dannette and Jeannette were last seen at a Pump-N-Shop gas station on the corner of 12th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Augusta, Georgia on March 18, 1990. They stopped at a gas station, bought some chips and a drink and then left together. They were last seen near the intersection of 12th Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard at approximately 4:30 p.m. They have never been heard from again. On January 18, 6 members of the Blackman family were murdered by their loved one (son, brother, brother in law) Bruce. Bruce had been slipping into psychosis and had shown signs of a total break with reality leading up to the murders.
