You only have to argue the client couldn't have noticed the damage sooner! But if you say the damage has been there for a while, you are severely cutting your chances. What’s up, public adjusters! What are endorsements? Why are they vital to public adjusters, and why do insurance companies use them? In today’s video, Jeromy Leavelle, our commercial claims coach will explain to you; 👉 What endorsements are and why they can make or break a claim. 👉 How to identify endorsements and their meaning in a policy. 👉 And why are they used in the first place? Firstly, understand that endorsements can make or break your claim. You might be working on a claim where the client lost their home and all the valuable jewelry. However, if there isn’t an endorsement covering jewelry, likely, you cannot add their value to the estimate. And that is just one example! There are many types of endorsements, and each situation is different. Hence, you must read your client’s policy carefully to understand what damages are covered and if there are endorsements limiting or adding to the policy.
