Comedian Emmanuel Sonubi joins Georgie on the podcast ahead of his UK tour 'Curriculum Vitae'. Georgie and Emmanuel met at Edinburgh Fringe and they chat about their experiences of taking shows up there. Georgie asks Elle more about her time working as an Intimacy Coordinator on the Oscar nominated film 'Poor Things' where she worked closely with Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo and other actors. Elle also talks about the TV shows she has worked on like everyone's favourite new Netflix series, 'One Day'. She breaks down what her job involves and Georgie finds out what she likes watching.

This week Georgie is joined by Actor and Writer Rosie Day. Rosie wrote and previously performed a solo show called 'Instructions for a Teenage Armageddon' that is now heading to the Garrick Theatre in the West End. It will star Charithra Chandran who played Edwina Sharma in series two of 'Bridgerton'. Georgie and Rosie discuss their experiences of making one girl/woman shows, Georgie finds out more about Rosie's background as a child actor when she worked on television series like 'Outlander' and they (of course) chat about watching 'One Day'.

Actor Jonny Weldon, who plays Ian in the recent hit TV show 'One Day' on Netflix, joins Georgie on the podcast! Georgie asks Jonny more about his time filming and they dissect what it is that's so magical about the storyline and characters. Jonny also chats about the funny videos that he started posting online in lockdown, working on stage when he was younger and what other shows he enjoys watching.

Georgie is performing her romantic comedy one woman play, 'Sunsets', at Omnibus Theatre in Clapham TONIGHT (20th July) and TOMORROW (21st July) at 8.30pm. And before this tonight, there will be a performance of 'Mr Sister' at 7pm with Holly Kellingray and Brooke Jones, AKA Holly and Brooke are Hooked. This week, Georgie is joined by Actor Emma Harvie, AKA Meggles from 'Colin from Accounts'! Georgie was so excited to get some behind the scenes details from Emma about the show; including how she got the job in the first place. Emma tells Georgie more about her other film and TV work (that Georgie also loves) and Georgie finds out what Emma likes to watch when she's not filming.

Georgie is (re)joined on the podcast by the brilliant Andy Bennett. Andy is a Stunt Coordinator in the film and television world and he is back on the pod to chat more about his work, including his love of 2nd Unit Directing. This, of course, involves answering more of Georgie's questions about the recent productions he has filmed and what his favourite stunts are. Georgie continues to be fascinated by how Andy makes screen magic happen and, finally, she finds out what he likes to watch on Netflix when he's not working.

This week, Georgie is joined by Tom Duke, Creator of 'Stepping Through Film', a website and social media page that brilliantly blends the worlds of reality with filming locations, through photos that Tom takes. Tom is a Photographer and Writer and Georgie asks him more about his work, what it's like to go behind the scenes of epic films like 'The Notebook' and what he likes to watch when he's not doing all of that. This week, Georgie was so excited to be joined by the brilliant Dr Jennifer Dunphy, AKA Jen Bunney from the iconic reality television shows 'Laguna Beach' and 'The Hills'. Jen chats to Georgie about her book 'Don't Tell Me What To Do: The Secret Guide to Unlocking Your Power, Potential and Purpose'. Georgie also asks Jen about her time on reality shows including how producers shaped a particular narrative that wasn't quite true to life and what it was like to be studying in the medical field while her co stars were venturing into Hollywood. Jen and Georgie touch on the difference between reality shows back in the day and reality shows now, Georgie finds out how Jen came to end up on 'Laguna Beach' in the first place and Jen reveals which Bravo TV series is her favourite. Georgie's one woman play, 'Sunsets', is coming to Brighton Fringe this weekend; on Saturday 13th May and Sunday 14th May at The Rotunda Theatre in Brighton at 4.45pm (1 hour). Sunsets is a solo show, written and performed by Georgie Grier, about romantic comedies. Set during a live podcast event, it follows one woman's attempt to create her own walking off into the sunset moment. While recording it of course. But will there be a happily ever after? Georgie chats to Director Philip Barantini about his latest work directing the upcoming medical thriller series 'Malpractice' which is coming to ITV1 on 23rd April and will then be available to watch on ITVX. Phil has also directed films like the incredible 'Boiling Point' and Georgie asks him more about his process on these productions with such intense storylines. Phil also chats about what it's like working as a Director having previously worked as an Actor and Georgie finds out what he enjoys watching on TV.

'Sunsets' is Georgie's one woman play which she wrote and will be performing at Brighton Fringe on 13th and 14th May at 4.45pm in The Rotunda Theatre: SQUEAK. Georgie is joined by Director Francesca Comencini to chat about her work on the recent Sky show 'Django' as well as other brilliant television series such as 'Gomorrah'. Georgie finds out more about her time making 'Django' including casting the Actors and she also asks Francesca what she likes to watch on television when she's not working. Georgie is THRILLED this week to be joined by legendary Writer Nick Hornby and Actor and Writer Morwenna Banks to talk about new series 'Funny Woman' on Sky. Nick and Morwenna chat more about creating the show which has been adapted from Nick's brilliant novel 'Funny Girl'. Georgie asks Nick about his wonderful books in general as well as what it's like adapting work for the screen. She finds out about Morwenna's time writing 'Funny Woman' (and acting in it!) and then asks Nick and Morwenna what they each like to watch when they aren't working. Georgie is joined by Executive Producer Tim Key and Executive Producer and Writer Tony Jordan for this episode of the pod as they chat about the new spin-off to the much-loved series 'Death in Paradise', 'Beyond Paradise', which can be watched on the BBC from tomorrow. Georgie asks them what it's like to bring back characters in a spin-off after they have already walked off into the sunset (her favourite subject...) in another series. And this week, Actor Ali Hadji-Heshmati joins her to discuss his leading role in the new Netflix series 'Lockwood & Co.' which comes out tomorrow (if you're reading this today...). Georgie finds out how Ali got into the acting world and Ali talks more about filming Lockwood. Georgie asks the all important question of whether it was scary to film a series about ghosts and Ali reveals what films and TV shows he likes to watch (the contrast in choices is the greatest!). Fenton Bailey is an award-winning Producer and Director and he has written a book! It's called 'ScreenAge: How TV Shaped Our Reality, from Tammy Faye to RuPaul's Drag Race' and it's available to buy now. Fenton co-founded the production company World of Wonder who were responsible for bringing the wonderful show 'RuPaul's Drag Race' (and others!) to life. Georgie sits down with Fenton in this episode of the podcast to chat about his time writing the book (including Georgie's favourite moment where he interviewed Britney Spears). They also chat about DragCon UK, what Fenton watches when he's not working (shark movie, anyone?) and Carrie Fisher's one woman show.

I wrote a play! And I'm performing the play! Tom Hovey is a Food Illustrator and Designer whose work can be seen on the much-loved television show 'The Great British Bake Off'. Tom and his team are behind the illustrations of the delicious bakes you see accompanying the bakers making their signature, technical and showstopper bakes! Georgie had SO much to ask Tom; from how it works, to the sheer quantity of work he and his team must do across all the 'Bake Off' shows. Tom talks about how he landed his role on GBBO, Georgie asks Tom whether the celebs in the celebrity version practice their bakes and Georgie find out what Tom likes to watch when he's illustrating!

This week, Georgie is joined by Actor Chaske Spencer who stars as Eli Whipp in the new BBC Western miniseries drama, 'The English' out today! Chaske's other acting credits include 'The Twilight Saga' (which Georgie obviously loves). Georgie asks Chaske more about his time making 'The English'. They chat about Chaske's character Eli and his relationship with Emily Blunt's character, Cornelia. Georgie also asks Chaske what it was like filming with horses, Chaske talks about his nerves during the audition process and Georgie finds out what Chaske likes watching when he is not working.

Georgie is joined by Actor Rhian Blundell on the podcast this week to chat about her work on Peacock's 'Vampire Academy' and more. Georgie tells Rhian how funny she found Rhian's character, Meredith, in the show and Rhian answers Georgie's question on why shows are labelled 'young adult'. Rhian chats about some cold weather filming days in Spain, Georgie asks Rhian about her time after drama school and how she thinks Rhian should be in 'Stranger Things'. And finally, they chat about what they like to watch on TV to switch off.

Georgie is joined by Executive Producer, Martin Scott, this week to talk about his work on 'Ninja Warrior UK: Race For Glory' and the other entertainment shows he has worked on such as 'The Chase' (catch up on episodes on ITV Hub). Georgie asks Martin whether he has ever tried one of the courses on 'Ninja Warrior' before trying to get to the bottom of who picks the questions on 'The Chase' (and what Martin's specialist quiz subject would be, of course). Martin talks more about the production company, Potato TV, and the shows they make. And Georgie gets nostalgic over the thought of cosy TV dinners in front of some Saturday night television with her family.

This week, Georgie chats to Steven Knight who created the television series 'Peaky Blinders'. Steven adapted it for the stage; bringing us 'Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby' which Benoit Swan Pouffer choreographed and directed. Benoit is the Artistic Director of the dance company Rambert and Georgie chats to him and Steven about their time working on the show. She concludes that the sign of a show's success can be when people dress up in Halloween costumes as the characters and asks Steven and Benoit more about how they collaborated on the production as well as what they enjoy watching on TV when they're not working.

For this first episode of the NEW season of the pod, Georgie sat down with Director Corin Hardy to talk about his work directing the new series of 'Gangs of London'. The series will be available to watch on Sky Atlantic and NOW from 20th October. Georgie was lucky enough to sneak a preview and let me tell you....you're in for a TREAT. And a lot of gore. Speaking of gore, Georgie asks Corin more about his work in the world of horror and what it is about this genre that fascinates people when it's very, well.....scary. Georgie asks Corin whether Halloween is his favourite time of the year (it is), Corin talks about his annual 'Horror-thon' and Georgie finds out what Corin enjoys watching when he's not working.

George Webster is an Actor, Writer and Director and he stars as Hugo Delaney in the new series 'Wedding Season' which is out on Disney Plus today! George chats to Georgie about his time working on the show after they both agree that it now feels like the time for binge-watching things again (when is it not that time?). G and G bond over their (sort-of) shared names, Georgie finds out about George's other acting credits and she asks George what he enjoys watching when he's not working.

For this bonus episode of the podcast, Georgie sat down with Alice Victoria Winslow, who co-wrote the Netflix film 'Persuasion' starring Dakota Johnson. Georgie asks Alice more about how this job came out. Alice also talks about balancing the worlds of writing with acting and what she enjoys watching on television!

Amira Ghazalla is an Actor who recently starred in 'The Baby', a new comic horror series on Sky Atlantic. Amira tells Georgie more about her time playing the brilliant character 'Mrs Eaves' and Georgie was fascinated to find out what it was like filming with an actual baby. They discuss the themes behind the show, what Amira is watching on television at the moment and Georgie tells Amira she wins the prize for the best Zoom background.

Funny man, Ed Jones, joins Georgie on the podcast this week to answer all of Georgie's questions on his videos that she loves. This week on the podcast, Georgie is joined Movement Director and Choreographer, Polly Bennett. Polly's credits seem to be never ending; from working with Austin Butler on Baz Luhrmann's latest film 'Elvis', to other biopics like 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and then there are TV shows like 'The Crown'. (There's too many to list here. Go and have a look at her incredible CV!) Georgie loved Austin Butler's performance in 'Elvis' and asks Polly more about her time working with Austin and what their day to day looked like. Polly also chats about her process with other characters such as the crowds of Elvis's 'adoring fans' and what it was like filming in Australia. Georgie tells Polly about her (sort of) claim to 'Home and Away' fame and they both accidentally call Austin the name Elvis (he really was that incredible....). Into Film is a charity that supports film in education. This week, Georgie sat down with its CEO, Paul Reeve. Paul tells Georgie more about what Into Film involves; from Film Clubs to streaming platforms, and Georgie finds out about the Into Film Awards which will take place tomorrow on Tuesday 28th June at the ODEON Luxe in Leicester Square (and which will be hosted by Sue Perkins!). Georgie asks Paul more about the Awards, Paul discusses his favourite childhood film and Georgie finds out what Paul is watching on television at the moment. Kevin LaRosa II is an Aerial Coordinator and Stunt Pilot. From 'Iron Man' to 'The Avengers', Kevin has piloted on an EXTRAORDINARY list of film credits and most recently it was 'Top Gun: Maverick', Georgie's now favourite film of all time. Georgie asks Kevin about how he first blended the worlds of aviation and the movies, she talks about her family's background in the skies and Kevin reveals some incredible behind the scenes secrets about the filming of this latest 'Top Gun' film. 'The Midwich Cuckoos' is a new TV series out on Sky Max TODAY! Georgie was looking forward to a chance to sit down with the show's Writer, David Farr, and Director Alice Troughton. David also wrote the series 'The Night Manager' (which Georgie loved). David and Alice join Georgie on the podcast to talk about how they came to work on this show, what it's like adapting novels to the screen and what they are watching, of course!

This week Georgie is delighted to be joined by Frank Spotnitz (who brought to life 'The X-Files'!) and Emily Feller. Frank and Emily are the CEO and Creative Director, respectively, of Big Light Productions. They recently created the new Audible Original drama, 'Radioman' and the second series of their show, 'Devils', which stars Patrick Dempsey, is now available to watch on Sky Atlantic. Georgie asks about their recent news with Tomorrow Studios, she hears more about Frank's early days on 'The X-Files' and she asks Emily what she enjoys watching (and listening to!).

'The Rising' is a new series coming to Sky Max and NOW TV on 22nd April. It tells the story of Neve Kelly, a young girl who realises she has been murdered and takes advantage of her new supernatural abilities to investigate her own death. For this episode of the pod, Georgie was very excited to chat the show's Producer, Julian Stevens, about how the series was made, what the role of a Producer actually involves and what Julian enjoys watching on TV when he's not working!

This week, Georgie was so excited to sit down with Makeup Artist, Göran Lundström, who was responsible for the physical transformation of Jared Leto's character in the film, 'House of Gucci'. Georgie asks Göran about his brilliant makeup and prosthetics work on screen, his 2022 Oscar nomination (!!) and she is intrigued to know whether actors get restless when sat in the makeup chair for long periods of time. Göran also talks about what it's like when film crew are asked to call actors by their character names and he tells Georgie more about the process of transforming Jared into Paolo Gucci.
