Aviation in 'Top Gun: Maverick' with Aerial Coordinator & Camera Pilot Kevin LaRosa II
Kevin LaRosa II is an Aerial Coordinator and Stunt Pilot. From 'Iron Man' to 'The Avengers', Kevin has piloted on an EXTRAORDINARY list of film credits and most recently it was 'Top Gun: Maverick', Georgie's now favourite film of all time. Georgie asks Kevin about how he first blended the worlds of aviation and the movies, she talks about her family's background in the skies and Kevin reveals some incredible behind the scenes secrets about the filming of this latest 'Top Gun' film. Creating The Midwich Cuckoos with David Farr and Alice Troughton
'The Midwich Cuckoos' is a new TV series out on Sky Max TODAY! Georgie was looking forward to a chance to sit down with the show's Writer, David Farr, and Director Alice Troughton. David also wrote the series 'The Night Manager' (which Georgie loved). David and Alice join Georgie on the podcast to talk about how they came to work on this show, what it's like adapting novels to the screen and what they are watching, of course!
Radioman, Devils and Big Light Productions with Frank Spotnitz and Emily Feller
This week Georgie is delighted to be joined by Frank Spotnitz (who brought to life 'The X-Files'!) and Emily Feller. Frank and Emily are the CEO and Creative Director, respectively, of Big Light Productions. They recently created the new Audible Original drama, 'Radioman' and the second series of their show, 'Devils', which stars Patrick Dempsey, is now available to watch on Sky Atlantic. Georgie asks about their recent news with Tomorrow Studios, she hears more about Frank's early days on 'The X-Files' and she asks Emily what she enjoys watching (and listening to!).
Creating The Rising with Julian Stevens
'The Rising' is a new series coming to Sky Max and NOW TV on 22nd April. It tells the story of Neve Kelly, a young girl who realises she has been murdered and takes advantage of her new supernatural abilities to investigate her own death. For this episode of the pod, Georgie was very excited to chat the show's Producer, Julian Stevens, about how the series was made, what the role of a Producer actually involves and what Julian enjoys watching on TV when he's not working!

Creating Frayed with Sarah Kendall
ESarah Kendall ('Motherland', 'Taskmaster') joins Georgie on the pod today to talk about the new series of her show 'Frayed' which she wrote and stars in, and which you can watch now on Sky Max! Georgie and Sarah chat about British and Australian comedies and Georgie tells Sarah about the time she ended up in Newcastle, Australia (much to Sarah's surprise) where 'Frayed' is set. Sarah talks some more about the process of getting the show made and Georgie finds out about Sarah's love of a particular genre of TV shows and films.
House of Gucci and Makeup with Göran Lundström
This week, Georgie was so excited to sit down with Makeup Artist, Göran Lundström, who was responsible for the physical transformation of Jared Leto's character in the film, 'House of Gucci'. You can now watch the film from the comfort of your sofa! Georgie asks Göran about his brilliant makeup and prosthetics work on screen, his 2022 Oscar nomination (!!) and she is intrigued to know whether actors get restless when sat in the makeup chair for long periods of time. Göran also talks about what it's like when film crew are asked to call actors by their character names and he tells Georgie more about the process of transforming Jared into Paolo Gucci. What We're Watching with April Pearson - Bonus Episode
EApril Pearson, Actor and Host of podcast 'Are You Michelle from Skins?' joins Georgie on the pod this week. April and Georgie reunite after April first came on The Screenster Podcast back in 2020. Aside from catching up, Georgie asks April more about the new series of her podcast where she talks to more guests who, like April, have been closely associated with a particular character. Georgie also finds out what April has been watching on TV and discovers her love of true crime shows. Georgie is SO excited to say that she is joined by none other than actors Josh Hartnett ('Sin City', 'Pearl Harbor', '40 Days and 40 Nights') and Leila Farzad ('I Hate Suzie') for this week's episode of The Screenster Podcast. Josh and Leila sit down with Georgie to talk about their latest work starring in 'The Fear Index' which is out on Sky Atlantic today. Josh tells Georgie about the house they filmed in, Georgie finds out what Leila's favourite moment of working on this series was and she discovers what they both enjoy watching on their screens for a bit of comfort.

EJosh Weller is a Comedian, Musician, Podcast Host and general funny guy. Georgie first heard of Josh's work when she found his videos on Instagram/TikTok (she's proud of herself for now having TikTok...) and was excited he joined her on the pod this week. They chat about Josh's early days in the music industry, why he transitioned into the world of comedy and what it's like when your tweets/videos go viral. Georgie asks Josh whether he gets scared during stand-up (she clearly doesn't give up on this question), they chat through a certain U2 moment in the film 'Taken' and get round to discussing some classic 90s movies. Most recently, they created 'The Tourist', starring Jamie Dornan, which you can watch on BBC iPlayer. Georgie was so excited to chat to Harry and Jack as she's been a fan of their work for years. She asks them about their company, Two Brothers Pictures, and what it's like working together as siblings. Georgie also finds out more about how they approach their stories, why they chose the Australian Outback for this latest screen adventure and what they like to watch when they're not working ('Below Deck', anyone?!).
