WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!! Greg Alba joins Tara Erickson & Andrew Gordon (Cinepals) for their reaction after they covered Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, War For The Planet Of The Apes, And 1968 Planet Of The Apes! The story takes place 300 years later. The world is now ruled by apes, and humans have been reduced to a primitive state. The protagonist, Noa, is a young chimpanzee on a quest to find the truth about his world and his people. He discovers an ancient human artifact that could change everything—technology that could give apes the upper hand in their struggle against the remaining humans. The antagonist, Proximus Caesar, a power-hungry bonobo, wants to use the human technology to rule over all apes, resembling the Tony Soprano of the ape world, only with more fur and less pasta. Noa sets out on a journey to find the truth about the artifact and his people, meeting a colorful cast of characters along the way, including Nova, a feral human girl who becomes Noa's companion; Raka, an orangutan who helps Noa on his quest; and Trevathan, a human advisor to Proximus Caesar. The twist reveals that Proximus Caesar is a descendant of Caesar, the original leader of the ape revolution, akin to Darth Vader of the ape world, only with more fur and less breathing problems. In the climax, Noa and his allies face off against Proximus Caesar and his army in a battle reminiscent of "The Lord of the Rings" meets "Planet of the Apes," but with more bananas and less jewelry. Noa defeats Proximus Caesar and destroys the human technology, preventing a new era of ape dominance, and becomes the new leader of the apes, restoring peace. Amidst the chaos, we see Butcher, MM, Frenchie, and Stan scrambling to escape the superpowered animals. The tension escalates when Victoria, Kimiko, and Starlight, despite their powers, fail to effectively counter the rogue livestock. Meanwhile, Homelander, seemingly supportive of his son Ryan's reluctance to star in a TV show, ultimately manipulates him into punishing a director for harassment, showcasing the sinister father-son dynamics. Billy Butcher's plan to steal the Supe-killing virus fails, but he reveals a backup strategy involving the kidnapping of Sameer, Vic’s ex who can recreate the virus. Butcher’s conversation with Joe Kessler, who appears to be a figment of his brain damage, adds another layer of psychological complexity to his character.With Election Year gearing up between Donald Trump & Joe Biden, this season seems to be honoring the America we know. In Episode 5 of The Acolyte, the mysterious Sith Lord, revealed to be Qimir, engages in a fierce battle against the Jedi, resulting in the deaths of several Jedi members including Jecki & Yord. The episode is filled with intense lightsaber duels and high-octane action. The episode starts with Osha waking up to Qimir attacking her, and she witnesses him killing multiple Jedi. Master Sol directs Yord to take Osha back to the ship while Osha senses they need to return to help. They lure umbramoths to try and use them against Qimir. During the fight, Jecki manages to knock off Qimir's helmet before succumbing to her wounds. Qimir, now unmasked, engages in a battle with Master Sol, claiming Sol has lied to Osha and Mae and that the Jedi make the rules. Osha tries to sway Qimir but fails, leading Mae to swap clothes with Osha and cut her hair to match Osha's. Qimir, not noticing the switch, returns to "Mae" (Osha in Mae's clothes) and takes care of her. The episode ends with the twins swapping roles and the Jedi order facing a devastating loss. In the finale of Doctor Who Season 1, titled "Empire of Death," the Doctor and his companions face a dire threat from the ancient Egyptian god Sutekh, who has been secretly aboard the TARDIS since the Fourth Doctor era. Sutekh has been spreading his "Dust of Death" across the universe, killing everyone on Earth and other planets. The Doctor discovers that Sutekh has been using the TARDIS to create versions of Susan Triad on every planet he has ever visited, intending to wipe out all life. The Doctor finds a "Remembered TARDIS," which is made up of bits and pieces from the TARDIS' history, as seen in the Tales of the TARDIS spin-off. The Doctor and his companions manage to escape in the Remembered TARDIS, but not before Sutekh gains control of the actual TARDIS. The Doctor heads to a dying planet and learns that DNA testing was made compulsory in the future, whic37h will finally answer the question of Ruby's mother's identity. The Doctor uses an intelligent rope and a whistle to attach Sutekh to the TARDIS console, dragging him into the time vortex and reversing the effects of the Dust of Death. This brings everyone back to life, except for Sutekh and Harriet, who were killed earlier. The episode ends with the Doctor saying goodbye to Ruby Sunday after she unites with her moth, with the warning from Mrs. Flood that the Doctor's story "ends in absolute terror."
