The protagonist, Noa, is a young chimpanzee on a quest to find the truth about his world and his people. He discovers an ancient human artifact that could change everything—technology that could give apes the upper hand in their struggle against the remaining humans. The antagonist, Proximus Caesar, a power-hungry bonobo, wants to use the human technology to rule over all apes, resembling the Tony Soprano of the ape world, only with more fur and less pasta. Noa sets out on a journey to find the truth about the artifact and his people, meeting a colorful cast of characters along the way, including Nova, a feral human girl who becomes Noa's companion; Raka, an orangutan who helps Noa on his quest; and Trevathan, a human advisor to Proximus Caesar. The twist reveals that Proximus Caesar is a descendant of Caesar, the original leader of the ape revolution, akin to Darth Vader of the ape world, only with more fur and less breathing problems. In the climax, Noa and his allies face off against Proximus Caesar and his army in a battle reminiscent of "The Lord of the Rings" meets "Planet of the Apes," but with more bananas and less jewelry. Noa defeats Proximus Caesar and destroys the human technology, preventing a new era of ape dominance, and becomes the new leader of the apes, restoring peace. Initially, the Jedi are uncertain about the vergence's nature, but their mission takes a turn when Sol discovers two young girls, Osha and Mae, who are connected to the vergence. The episode reveals that the Jedi were sent to Brendok after a hyperspace disaster 100 years earlier, which left the planet barren. In Episode 6 of "The Acolyte," titled "Teach/Corrupt," the story continues to unfold with Osha waking up in an unfamiliar cave on an "Unknown Planet," resembling the planet where Rey trained with Luke Skywalker. The episode reveals that Osha has been abducted by Qimir, who was once a Jedi "a long time ago.” The episode focuses on the interactions between Osha and Qimir as he attempts to persuade her to question the teachings of the Jedi Order. Qimir challenges Osha's beliefs about the Force and her role as a Jedi, suggesting that the Jedi abandoned her because of her unresolved emotions and the power she possesses. He offers her a choice to leave or stay with him, hinting at a deeper connection to her potential. Meanwhile, Sol is dealing with the aftermath of the previous episode's events, struggling to communicate with the Jedi Council and facing the consequences of his past actions. He also starts to suspect that Mae, who is pretending to be Osha, is not who she claims to be. The episode ends with a cliffhanger, as Osha puts on Qimir's helmet, which is said to provide sensory deprivation and a connection to the Force. This act symbolizes her potential turn to the dark side and the growing influence of Qimir on her.
