FARM ANIMALS & HUGHIE’S DAD ATTACK!! The Boys Season 4 Full Reaction Watch Along: https://www.patreon.com/thereelrejects "Beware The Jabberwock, My Son." The Boys Season 4 Reaction, Recap, Commentary, Analysis, Spoiler Review, Easter Eggs, & Ending Explained! We get the Gen V crossover with Cate & Sam as well as Ted Knight and Hughie Sr. getting Supers powers leading to a Simon Pegg death scene. The episode’s bizarre plot centers around a lab run by Victoria Neumann, where her ex-boyfriend experiments with a Supe-killing virus. This leads to an unexpected confrontation with superpowered livestock—buffalos, sheep, and chickens—injecting even more madness into the storyline…but not before getting a parody of Marvel & DC panels at comic-con with their Vought announcement slate! The episode kicks off with The Boys infiltrating Victoria Neumann’s secret lab, aiming to steal the Gen V virus, a dangerous bioweapon. Things go awry when the infected animals break free, attacking everyone in sight. Victoria threatens to blow up The Boys and Stan Edgar, who is temporarily out of prison, but her hesitation leads to a wild chase. Amidst the chaos, we see Butcher, MM, Frenchie, and Stan scrambling to escape the superpowered animals. The tension escalates when Victoria, Kimiko, and Starlight, despite their powers, fail to effectively counter the rogue livestock. Starlight's powers falter, and Kimiko’s usual combat prowess is subdued, leaving viewers questioning their diminished abilities in this scenario. The episode also highlights the ongoing manipulation and corruption within Vought. At the V52 Expo, a parody of Comic-Con, various new franchises and shows are announced, including A-Train’s movies and a new gender-flip series for Gen V’s Cate and Sam. Meanwhile, Homelander, seemingly supportive of his son Ryan's reluctance to star in a TV show, ultimately manipulates him into punishing a director for harassment, showcasing the sinister father-son dynamics. Billy Butcher's plan to steal the Supe-killing virus fails, but he reveals a backup strategy involving the kidnapping of Sameer, Vic’s ex who can recreate the virus. Butcher’s conversation with Joe Kessler, who appears to be a figment of his brain damage, adds another layer of psychological complexity to his character.With Election Year gearing up between Donald Trump & Joe Biden, this season seems to be honoring the America we know. The Acolyte Episode 1x5 Full Reaction Watch Along: https://www.patreon.com/thereelrejects The Acolyte Reaction, Recap, Commentary, Analysis, Spoiler Review, & Theories! In Episode 5 of The Acolyte, the mysterious Sith Lord, revealed to be Qimir, engages in a fierce battle against the Jedi, resulting in the deaths of several Jedi members including Jecki & Yord. The episode is filled with intense lightsaber duels and high-octane action. The episode starts with Osha waking up to Qimir attacking her, and she witnesses him killing multiple Jedi. Master Sol directs Yord to take Osha back to the ship while Osha senses they need to return to help. They lure umbramoths to try and use them against Qimir. During the fight, Jecki manages to knock off Qimir's helmet before succumbing to her wounds. Qimir, now unmasked, engages in a battle with Master Sol, claiming Sol has lied to Osha and Mae and that the Jedi make the rules. Osha tries to sway Qimir but fails, leading Mae to swap clothes with Osha and cut her hair to match Osha's. Qimir, not noticing the switch, returns to "Mae" (Osha in Mae's clothes) and takes care of her. The episode ends with the twins swapping roles and the Jedi order facing a devastating loss. In the finale of Doctor Who Season 1, titled "Empire of Death," the Doctor and his companions face a dire threat from the ancient Egyptian god Sutekh, who has been secretly aboard the TARDIS since the Fourth Doctor era. Sutekh has been spreading his "Dust of Death" across the universe, killing everyone on Earth and other planets. The Doctor discovers that Sutekh has been using the TARDIS to create versions of Susan Triad on every planet he has ever visited, intending to wipe out all life. The Doctor finds a "Remembered TARDIS," which is made up of bits and pieces from the TARDIS' history, as seen in the Tales of the TARDIS spin-off. The Doctor and his companions manage to escape in the Remembered TARDIS, but not before Sutekh gains control of the actual TARDIS. The Doctor heads to a dying planet and learns that DNA testing was made compulsory in the future, whic37h will finally answer the question of Ruby's mother's identity. The Doctor uses an intelligent rope and a whistle to attach Sutekh to the TARDIS console, dragging him into the time vortex and reversing the effects of the Dust of Death. This brings everyone back to life, except for Sutekh and Harriet, who were killed earlier. The episode ends with the Doctor saying goodbye to Ruby Sunday after she unites with her moth, with the warning from Mrs. Flood that the Doctor's story "ends in absolute terror." But, you know, it's not just a simple search and rescue mission because they encounter some extraterrestrial aquatic beings. So, the crew consists of Bud Brigman (played by Ed Harris), his estranged wife Lindsey (played by Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio), and a bunch of other characters. They're all working together to find this lost submarine, but things get complicated when they discover these alien creatures living in the deep sea. There's a lot of tension between Bud and Lindsey, and they have to work through their issues while dealing with the aliens. The aliens are pretty cool, by the way. They can manipulate water and even create these water tentacles that can mimic human faces. The climax of the movie involves a big decision for Bud. He has to choose between saving himself or sacrificing himself to prevent a nuclear war. Of course, he chooses the heroic option and dives into the abyss to stop a nuclear warhead from detonating. In the end, Bud survives and the aliens help him return to the surface. The movie ends with a message of hope and the idea that we can all work together to overcome our differences. In "Ultraman: Rising," baseball star Ken Sato (voiced by Christopher Sean) reluctantly returns to Japan to become the new Ultraman, replacing his aging father, Professor Sato. Meanwhile, the villainous KDF (Kaiju Defense Force) is on a mission to annihilate all kaiju, including a baby kaiju that Ken ends up adopting. Ken's mother, Emiko, is revealed to be alive and sending messages from Nebula M78, the home of the Ultramen. She wants Ken and his father to come to Nebula M78 to save the Ultramen from extinction. The KDF steals something from the hideout of the Gigantron, and it's revealed that they plan to destroy the kaiju island and kill all the creatures. Ken's father, Professor Sato, comes to his rescue as Ultradad, and together with the Gigantron mother, they defeat the KDF. In the end, Ken embraces his role as Ultraman and saves the day with a surprising team effort. The movie ends with a mid-credits scene where Emiko is seen in Nebula M78, hinting at a possible sequel. A Jack Harkness like character comes in the form of Rogue, leading to a romance & a kiss scene in this episode: The Doctor and Ruby arrive at a ball in 1813 England, hosted by the Duchess of Pemberton, where they encounter a mysterious bounty hunter named Rogue. Rogue is on the hunt for a shape-shifting Chuldur, a species that takes over the bodies of powerful individuals. Initially, Rogue traps the Doctor, believing him to be a Chuldur, but the Doctor convinces Rogue of his identity by showing his Time Lord biology. Together, the Doctor and Rogue work to capture the Chuldur, who has taken over the body of Lord Barton and the Duchess. The Chuldur plan to use Ruby as their next host, and a wedding is announced, causing the Doctor to realize the Chuldur's true intentions. The Doctor reconfigures Rogue's sealing device to send the Chuldur to an alternate dimension instead of killing it. In a twist, Ruby reveals that she has been using psychic earrings to fight off the Chuldur and takes the Doctor's place in the sealing device. Rogue sacrifices himself to save Ruby, and the episode ends with the Doctor and Ruby discussing Rogue's fate. The Doctor is left with Rogue's ring, hoping they may meet again.
