Ep 50Ep 49 Reclaiming Your Pussy as an Oracle (and why you were taught to ignore it)

E

In this episode of the Reclamation Hour, we’re talking about pussy work, not as something performative or purely sexual, but as one of the most direct pathways back to your power and the sacred feminine. Because the truth is, most women have been taught to disconnect from their bodies. From their desire. From the very place that holds their intuition, their boundaries, and their truth. This conversation is about undoing that. We Talk About: • Why your pussy is an oracle and how it communicates truth, desire, and boundaries • How patriarchy, religion, and conditioning disconnect you from your body on purpose • The difference between performative “sacred feminine” work and real embodiment • Why safety, not force, is the foundation of reconnecting • How trauma and shame live in the body and impact your ability to feel and receive • Practices like dearmoring, touch, and slowing down to rebuild trust with your body • The role of pleasure as a guide, not something indulgent, but something intelligent We also talk about pregnancy, postpartum, and how life experiences deepen your relationship with your body in ways spirituality alone never can. If you’ve felt disconnected from your body, your desire, or your intuition — this episode will show you where that disconnection comes from, and what it actually takes to rebuild it. Because your power was never outside of you. It’s in your body. E

In this episode, we explore the deep connection between sex, money, and the nervous system — and how your capacity for pleasure directly impacts your ability to receive wealth. We talk about how patriarchy, conditioning, and nervous system patterns shape women’s relationship with money, intimacy, and power. We also dive into “self-sabotage”, boundaries, and what it actually takes to expand your capacity for both pleasure and abundance. In this episode, we cover: • The connection between sex, money, and nervous system regulation • How conditioning and patriarchy impact wealth and pleasure • Why “self-sabotage” is often a protective response • Expanding your capacity for receiving money and intimacy • The role of trust, boundaries, and safety in abundance Resources Mentioned: Temple Waitlist: https://www.themysticinthewoods.com/temple Connect with Kate: Instagram: @themysticinthewoods YouTube: @themysticinthewoods Find all her current offerings here. In this episode, we talk about how to stay informed and engaged without burning out your nervous system or collapsing spiritually. We explore how trauma impacts media consumption, why binary thinking makes everything worse, and how shadow work, spiritual protection, and spirit relationships help build real resilience. We also break down practical spiritual protection practices — including cleansing, warding, and working with plant allies, deities, and ancestral spirits — so you can stay grounded while navigating turbulent times. In this episode we discuss: • Nervous system regulation during collective trauma • How to stay informed without doom-scrolling • Why binary thinking collapses discernment • The role of shadow work in spiritual protection • Working with ancestors, deities, and spirit allies • The difference between cleansing, clearing, and protection • Practical tools for spiritual resilience in chaotic times If you're trying to stay spiritually grounded while the world feels unstable, this conversation will help you stay clear, protected, and engaged without burning out. Ep 47Ep 46 How Purity Culture Shape Shifted Into Modern Day Life

E

In this episode, we continue to unpack purity culture as a system deeply rooted in patriarchy that still shapes how we understand virginity, women’s worth, beauty standards, food, and even spirituality. We break down the myth of virginity and why the hymen is medically meaningless, explore how purity culture creates hierarchies of worth, and examine how these narratives show up in diet culture, health extremism, and political disengagement. We also talk about duality — how to hold grief without collapsing, how to engage spirituality without bypassing, and why nuance is essential in conversations about gender, sustainability, and cultural identity. Purity culture didn’t disappear. It evolved. And if we don’t name it, it continues shaping our bodies, beliefs, and communities. In this episode, we explore: Why virginity is a social construct, not a biological fact How purity culture influences beauty standards and body image The connection between purity culture and diet culture Food politics, cultural identity, and sustainability How capitalism benefits from self-blame and isolation Why holding duality is essential for spiritual maturity Resources Mentioned: To learn more about the Priestess Training: https://www.themysticinthewoods.com/priestesstraining Your Latina Nutritionist https://www.instagram.com/your.latina.nutritionist/ Connect with Kate: Instagram: @themysticinthewoods YouTube: @themysticinthewoods Find all her current offerings here. Ep 46Ep 45 Purity Culture Is The Patriarchy’s Most Effective Weapon

E

In this episode of The Reclamation Hour, Alexandra and I dive into the deep and uncomfortable history of purity culture: where it came from, who it was designed to serve, and why its impact is still shaping sexuality, spirituality, and consent today. We trace purity culture back thousands of years, unpacking how patriarchy, original sin, and religious power structures reshaped women’s bodies from sacred to sinful — and how figures like Jezebel were transformed into archetypes used to justify control, violence, and erasure. This conversation is not about surface-level critique. It’s about understanding how purity culture operates as a system — one that protects predators, blames women, and teaches obedience over consent. In this episode, we talk about: The historical roots of purity culture and patriarchy How original sin became a sex-based sin used to control women The myth of Jezebel and how she was weaponized Why purity culture doesn’t protect women or children — it protects power How consent is erased in purity culture narratives The links between purity culture, witch trials, and the policing of women’s bodies Why modern spirituality often unknowingly repeats the same harmful frameworks This is a conversation about reclaiming truth, restoring context, and dismantling narratives that were never meant to serve life. Ep 45Ep 44 Women, Money, and the Sacred Feminine

E

In this episode of The Reclamation Hour, we dive into the complex, often charged relationship women have with money — and why it’s not just personal, but deeply historical and systemic. We explore how patriarchy, colonization, and cultural conditioning shaped women’s relationship with wealth, worth, and power, and why so many women, especially healers and spiritual practitioners, carry deep shadow wounds around money. This conversation is not about quick manifestation tricks or bypassing systemic issues. It’s about understanding money as a relational system, one that affects our nervous systems, our sense of safety, and our ability to show up fully in the world. In this episode, we talk about: Why women were historically wealth keepers — and how that role was taken from us How patriarchy created guilt, fear, and shame around women wanting money Why money isn’t evil — and how it actually amplifies our values The connection between money wounds, trauma, and the nervous system Why “healers shouldn’t want money” is a harmful myth How women holding wealth benefits families, communities, and future generations What it means to shift from scarcity to stewardship This episode is an invitation to rethink wealth — not as greed or excess, but as a tool for healing, empowerment, and collective care. Ep 44Ep 43 Reclaiming the Feminine Through Archetypes: Identity, Intuition & Power

E

In this episode of The Reclamation Hour, we explore one of the most powerful tools for healing, self-understanding, and spiritual reclamation: archetypes. Archetypes aren’t just symbolic—they’re ancestral, spiritual, and deeply embodied, and when we begin to understand the way they shape behaviors, stories, and even wounds, we open ourselves up to deep healing and und From Carl Jung and how collective unconscious shapes everything from your relationships to your intuition, to how archetypes show up in tarot, astrology, shadow work, and healing journeys—and how they can guide you back to your power. Archetypes as universal patterns that influence belief, behavior, and healing. The collective unconscious explains how psychic and intuitive patterns are passed across generations. How archetypal ceremony can help to awaken these energies within us How archetypes like the Mother, Witch, or Warrior show up in both light and shadow forms. Tarot and astrology are archetypal systems that help us recognize patterns in ourselves. Working with archetypes to deepen self-trust, emotional intelligence, and spiritual growth. How archetypes can reveal lineage wounds, help us reclaim power, and guide us through identity work. Ep 43Ep 42 Not Every Download Is Divine: The Real Work of Spiritual Discernment

E

In this episode of The Reclamation Hour, we dive deep into one of the most important, and misunderstood, topics in spirituality: discernment. We explore what it really means to practice discernment as a healer, priestess, or spiritual practitioner, and not just in channeling or intuitive work, but in how we interpret, respond, and hold space for others. We talk about how trauma, conditioning, and nervous system dysregulation can distort intuition and even open the door to spirit interference, and why true discernment requires shadow work, nervous system awareness, and decolonial practice. Together, we unpack how to reclaim self-trust, decentralize authority in spiritual mentorship, and create safer spaces for women of color and all marginalized practitioners. In this episode we explore things like: Why not every download or transmission is divine — and how to tell the difference. The three pillars of discernment: shadow, nervous system, and spirit interference. How trauma and conditioning distort intuition and perception. The role of nervous system regulation in clear channeling. How fear collapses perception while discernment expands it. The importance of decolonizing spiritual spaces and decentralizing authority. What to do when you sense spirit attachments or interference in your field. Why healing and discernment are collaborative — not hierarchical. How embodiment and self-trust create true energetic sovereignty. Ep 36Ep 36 Through the Veil: Cryptid folklore, attachments, and Lost Souls

E

In this episode The Reclamation Hour, we covered a variety of spirit attachments from across cultures. We want to take a moment to acknowledge something important about the recent episode where Wndigos and Sknwalkers were mentioned. These beings come from sacred Indigenous teachings — particularly from Algonquian and Diné (Navajo) nations — and they hold deep cultural and spiritual significance. They aren’t “cryptids” in the Western sense, but moral and ceremonial teachings that belong to those communities. Conversations about entities and cultural origins can be deeply nuanced. We felt some hesitation about including these beings in the discussion, knowing that in their original contexts, their names are not spoken outside of ceremony. At the same time, Kate has had her own direct experiences through her spiritual and entity-removal work, and we wanted to hold space for that perspective while trusting her integrity in how she shares. That said, we recognize that even with pure intentions, naming these beings publicly can cross spiritual boundaries that are not ours to navigate. Moving forward, we will focus on sharing our own personal experiences and encounters with energetic entities — without referencing closed teachings or naming beings that belong to Indigenous traditions. With love and reverence, Kate and Alexandra

Ep 31Ep 31 When the Moon Turns Red: Eclipses as Cosmic Initiations

E

In this episode of The Reclamation Hour, we’re talking all about eclipses. We’re talking cultural myths, historical rituals, and modern practices for harnessing eclipse energy, especially as it relates to the sacred feminine, ancestral healing, and personal sovereignty. We are also talking about the upcoming eclipse season, how to prepare your nervous system, and why this time is better for release and reflection than manifestation. We cover: Eclipses represent portals of transformation—expect disruption, insight, and change. In astrology, eclipses align with the North and South Nodes—points of karmic beginnings and endings. Many cultures viewed eclipses as omens or divine interventions, especially blood moons. Eclipse energy is chaotic but catalytic—it’s a time to pause, not push. The sacred feminine is deeply woven into eclipse lore—death, rebirth, and re-wilding. Decluttering, purification, and grounding rituals are ideal during this time. The Virgo new moon calls for deep energetic and emotional cleansing. Eclipse season brings collective rewiring—including ancestral and societal healing. Sovereignty requires deconditioning from inherited belief systems. Bodies of water may reflect energetic shifts—watch for emotional or intuitive disruptions. Avoid overcommitment; instead, anchor your practices in embodiment and rest. Spiritual practitioners are being called to integrate activism and integrity. Money and value are not inherently linked—eclipse energy invites a new lens.
