September 6th, 2022. The Attrition War in Ukraine's Impact on Europe.

It’s September 6th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ Today is a Special Edition of the PDB. All because of a protest in Europe. Last Saturday, about 70,000 people in the Czech Republic gathered to protest the war in Ukraine and their outrage at higher electricity prices stemming from the war. It is the first time we’ve seen something of this magnitude over the War of Attrition — which of course is the battle between Russia, Ukraine, and the West. Today we’re going to talk about this first big protest in the Czech Republic, plus another one planned in Germany, and then explore how bad things are really getting inside of Europe. As always, we’ll talk about why this is so important to us — even though it’s thousands of miles away. And of course I’ve also got a response to a listener question before we end the podcast. ------ Please remember to subscribe if you enjoyed this episode of the President's Daily Brief. As always, I’m keeping an eye out for developing stories. Put these two on your radar. First, the Biden Administration is set to ask Congress for another $11.7B for Ukraine after burning through the $40B authorized in May. Second, Mexican workers in the US are sending money back home in record amounts — over $5B just last month. And finally, the last thing before I let you go. Third, a sliver of hope in the Wheat Wars: a ship is unloading grain this morning that will help feed 1.5M people. It’s September 1st. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ It’s a Special PDB this morning. The Main Brief today and all week is chosen by you — things we’ve discussed before but updated with new information, new data, and fresh analysis. It’s August 31st. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ It’s a Special PDB this morning. The Main Brief today and all week is chosen by you — things we’ve discussed before but updated with new information, new data, and fresh analysis. First, we are back at the ringside fight between Russia and Ukraine. Last week we used a boxing analogy to try to understand the punches being thrown, with one by America and Europe aimed at Russia’s economy. We’re of course talking about the economic sanctions. So how did that punch land? Is Russia on the economic ropes? We’ll discuss the data, plus a reminder of why this story is so important to you and your family. As always, I’m keeping an eye out for developing stories. Put these two on your radar. First, some California solar panels that just might be a win-win for everybody. Second, North Korea’s leader has COVID. That could mean bad news for our men and women in uniform. Finally, we wrap up the podcast with a question from a listener. The Main Brief today and all week is chosen by you — things we’ve discussed before but updated with new information, new data, and fresh analysis. SO, FIRST UP THIS MORNING, Governments around the world want to stop climate change by slaughtering cows or taxing them out of existence. That was a story from New Zealand that I brought you in early June. Since then, we’re seeing the same thing in The Netherlands and Ireland as well. So we’ll talk about what’s going on globally, why you should care. As always, I’m keeping an eye out for developing stories. Put these two on your radar. Ukraine is punching back against the Russians this morning. We’ve got two related radar briefs. First, Russia is releasing their natural gas into the atmosphere rather than sell it to Europe. I’ve got those details. Second, the European people are preparing for a very cold winter without Russian natural gas. I’ll share their plans to keep warm. And, as always, a question from a listener. The Main Brief today and all week is chosen by you — things we’ve discussed before but updated with new information, new data, and fresh analysis. First, vaccine mandates. Kids are going back to school and need certain shots. Including COVID jabs in some places. But should they? To help us think through that debate, we’ll start with this question: Why Is There No Mandate At Schools for A Flu Shot? Well, we’ve got some good science to answer that question, coming up. August 25th, 2022. Special Brief: The Fight in Ukraine.

It’s August 25th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ Welcome to this Special Edition of the PDB. This week marks the six month anniversary of war in Ukraine. We have seen so many twists and turns, so many developments, that it’s been overwhelming at times. And maybe that’s why polls show Americans are kind of losing interest. A mid-July Fox News poll showed 69% of us were concerned about Russia’s invasion, but that’s down from 82% in March. In terms of overall concern, the issue of Ukraine ranked sixth of eight issues tested. But it’s still a major story, with one clear reason: it’s costing you billions of dollars — at least $13.5B so far. To give you a sense of how shocking that is, when we were fighting in Afghanistan in 2019, we committed around $5B. Again, $13.5B for one year in Ukraine, $5B in Afghanistan. Plus, there’s a very real concern that this war could escalate and cause us to fight a much bigger war with a nuclear-armed Russian. That would mean your friends and neighbors would be involved in the most horrifying battle that the globe has ever seen. So, we are going to remind ourselves of this complicated story this morning. We’re going to do a recap of the past six months. But don’t worry, I’m going to use an analogy to help us through it. This is going to be a little unconventional, so hang with me. I want you to think of this brief like you’re watching a boxing match. So get out those maps, fire up some theme music from Rocky, settle in for six months of punches and counterpunches. ------ Please remember to subscribe if you enjoyed this episode of the President's Daily Brief. It’s August 24th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ First, Joe Biden will likely announce today that he is canceling some of America’s student loan debt. But should he? And do people really need that debt relief? We’ll talk numbers, and why there might be a better way to help struggling students. As always, I’m keeping an eye out for developing stories. Put these two on your radar. First, the CDC admitted last week that they failed in their COVID pandemic response. We have data out this morning that show just how bad they failed, in this case, they failed America’s kids. Second, the United States has $7B of cash sitting a New York Bank that belongs to the Government of Afghanistan. Should we give it back to them? Joe Biden’s thinking about it. I’ll explain. And finally, the last thing before I let you go. A question from Kurt from somewhere in Mississippi. Your morning intel starts now. ------ First, Joe Biden is launching a national tour this week to promote his renewable energy revolution, to include electric vehicles. As always, I’m keeping an eye out for developing stories. Put this one on your radar. The Chinese Government is after America’s cows. Well, we think so. They’ve hacked some agricultural software, and it’s left experts stumped. I’ll explain that bizarre story. And finally, the last thing before I let you go. August 11th, 2022. Special Brief: Hawaii, a Case Study of Our Upcoming Energy Crisis.

It’s August 11th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ Welcome to this Special Edition of the President’s Daily Brief. And it’s very special indeed, because America is about to undergo an energy revolution. There is a $380B climate change bill that is set to pass the House of Representatives tomorrow following its previous passage in the Senate. After tomorrow’s vote, it heads to the desk of Joe Biden who will sign it. That means, soon enough, states in this country will be changing the way we power our lives — our cars, our homes, our businesses — everything. So how will this energy revolution work? And will it work? Well, we have a test case this morning that we’re going to talk about: the state of Hawaii. They’ve been at it for seven years now. And if Hawaii is any indication, we are gonna see a real green energy mess. That cautionary tale is the focus of today’s Special Edition of the PDB — it’s a deep dive into what went wrong, why, and lessons that you can learn for your state. And, as always, I’ve got one more thing before I let you go. A comment from a listener named Ryan // he emailed and suggested I’m a lazy conservative and wrong to say that the NY Times and Washington Post are Democrat newspapers. August 9th, 2022. Breaking: Former President Donald Trump is Raided by the FBI.

It’s August 9th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ Today is a Special Edition of the PDB. And that’s because of what happened yesterday in Florida. The home of former president Donald Trump was raided by the FBI. So today we’re going to talk about that — what we know, what we don’t — but most especially I’m going to discuss the central question that you, me and other Americans are now going to have to wrestle with. Do you trust the FBI? Because if the answer is yes, then this development yesterday in Florida doesn’t bother you much. It’s standard procedure for an FBI that is professional, and just doing their jobs as the rules and law allow. But is that true? Is there anything in the recent past that might give a reasonable person pause about the FBI? Because if so, that might suggest that this raid, this investigation in Florida is anything but proper or legal. So that’s what we’re going to wrestle with this morning as this major story develops. And as always, I’ll offer up one more thing before I let you go, a note from Lindsey in Oregon. And it’s a good question about hope. Which perhaps is something we could all use. ------ Please remember to subscribe if you enjoyed this episode of the President's Daily Brief. Email: [email protected] Learn more about your ad choices. I’ll explain the reason why none of us should cheer for the reasons behind the drop. And of course, I’ve got one more thing before I let you go, an email today from Tiffany from somewhere in America. First, public confirmation this morning that American intelligence is directing missile attacks against the Russians in Ukraine. I’ve got the details on this very dangerous development. July 21st, 2022. Special Brief: Mexican President AMLO Laughs at Biden and Trudeau.

It’s July 21st. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ Today is a Special Brief about a growing threat just under the radar, and just under our Southern Border. Not the cartels this time. Not even drugs or gang violence. This morning we’re going to talk about Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador. His nickname is AMLO for short. Yesterday he said something remarkable when he was asked about a trade dispute that filed by Joe Biden and Justin Trudeau, who’s the Prime Minister of Canada. President AMLO said “Ohhh I’m soooo scared,” when he was asked of Biden’s trade dispute filing, and then he followed that up by saying, “Nothing will happen.” Now I’ve never heard any Mexican President be so audaciously dismissive towards America or American leadership. And so this morning we’re going to unpack exactly what’s going on — who this character AMLO is — and what to do about it. Because his statements yesterday are a flashing red light that things aren’t well in Mexico City, the capital of a country that we share a 2,000 mile long border with, and happens to be a major trade partner. The consequences could be very dire for you and every other American if we don’t quickly see what’s happening. As always, I’m keeping an eye out for developing stories. Put this one on your radar. Congress just took a really important vote.
