S1 Ep 216January 27th, 2023. Bryan Is Wrong, Part 1.
It’s January 27th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ Today is our Special Brief about how Bryan is Wrong. It was an opportunity for you all to write in, tell me about how I was wrong about something, and offer up your view of what’s right. The first three topics this morning are on domestic affairs. First, we talk immigration — a fellow named Rowdy from Texas says I shouldn’t say the word migrant when discussing this issue and instead say immigrant. I’ll talk about the difference. Next, the Biden Intel Scandal. Rachel in South Carolina said it’s clear I have a bias for Donald Trump, because I’m giving him a pass about his intel scandal. So I’ll respond by telling you all a story I haven’t told anyone — Trump actually invited me to the White House in the summer of 2020. I’ll explain why, and how that actually connects to the Trump intel scandal. Third, Chris in Bloomington Illinois pointed out the fact that I don’t say President when describing Joe Biden. I only call him Mr. Biden. Why is that, Chris and others have wondered? I’ll explain. Then we shift gears to International Affairs. A listener named Sebastian says all I do is talk about Ukraine. Enough already. Well, Sebastian, I’ll share why it’s so important. ----- Please remember to subscribe if you enjoyed this episode of the President's Daily Brief. S1 Ep 215January 26th, 2023. Good News From Europe! Also, JFK's Assassination.
It’s January 26th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ A good day to you, ladies and gentlemen. I’ve got four briefs for you this morning that are shaping America — and the world. First, we’ve got some US economic data coming out today. I’ll explain what it is, and how it’s connected to our second brief on… Europe. They’ve also got some economic news, good news, that you should know about. Third, we head to the North African country of Libya where we’ve got an update involving oil and spies. Fourth, it’s another brief about spies and intrigue in Africa, this time about the Russians, gold, and a city named Ougagadogu. Later, we close out the podcast with a listener question about the Assassination of John F. Kennedy. There’s been some reporting on that recently and a listener wondered, “Bryan, you sure have been quiet about that. I wonder why?” Well, today I’ll discuss it. ----- Please remember to subscribe if you enjoyed this episode of the President's Daily Brief. Email: [email protected] Learn more about your ad choices. S1 Ep 214January 25th, 2023. Another Intel Scandal... And Why These Classified Documents Matter.
It’s January 25th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ A good day to you, ladies and gentlemen. I’ve got four briefs for you this morning that are shaping America — and the world. First, we’ve got an update on America’s intel scandal. This time it’s not Joe Biden. A new politician says that he too had classified material at his home. Second, we’ve got an update on Ukraine, with how global powers are doubling down on their investments in the war — with your money. Third, the country of Norway just announced a major commitment to oil and gas exploration. Environmentalists are outraged. Fourth, we’ve got a poll showing where South Africans would rather live — either the US, Russia, or China. The results tell us a lot about / not just South Africa, but why the US is still a pretty exceptional place. Later, we close out the podcast with a personal observation about the US Treasury Secretary’s visit to Africa. She’s making a lot of promises for aid. But I’ve got a story from my time in southern Africa that suggest maybe we should proceed with caution when it comes to foreign aid. ----- Please remember to subscribe if you enjoyed this episode of the President's Daily Brief. S1 Ep 213January 24th, 2023. Protests Continue in South America. What Impact Will This Have on You?
It’s January 24th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ A good day to you, ladies and gentlemen. I’ve got four briefs for you this morning that are shaping America — and the world. First, we start in Peru with the latest on growing protests there and how they’re impacting copper prices — and the global economy. Second, we head over to Brazil where the country’s president there is cracking down on protestors — and blaming Donald Trump for inspiring them. Third, the country of Turkey is slamming the door shut on expanding NATO. All because a politician in Sweden set fire to a very important book. Finally, we’re going to take a ride this morning in a hot air balloon — yeah — flying high above the American midwest to see something very beautiful — and very alarming if we don’t take action soon. Later, we close out the podcast with a study about the importance of kids putting down those phones and getting outside. It’s good for their brains, science says. ----- Please remember to subscribe if you enjoyed this episode of the President's Daily Brief. Email: [email protected] Learn more about your ad choices. It’s January 23rd. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ A good day to you, ladies and gentlemen. I’ve got three big briefs for you this morning that are shaping America — and the world. First, the FBI searched Joe Biden’s home in Delaware late last week and they found more classified material. Meanwhile, Mr. Biden says he has no regrets about how he’s handled the growing scandal. We’ll talk about all of that. Second, a record number of illegal migrants crossed the southern border last month. I’ve got the details, to include the fact that an increasing number of those migrants are on the terrorist watch list. Third, get out those maps because we’re heading to Africa this morning. From Senegal in Western Africa, to Zambia in Central Africa, and then down to South Africa, where we’ve got an energy crisis to talk about that has ripple effects all the way to Ukraine — and maybe the United States. Later, we close out the podcast with listener feedback, and this one’s a teaser for episode coming up this Friday, a show dedicated to you telling me that I’m wrong. It’s going to be fun. ----- Please remember to subscribe if you enjoyed this episode of the President's Daily Brief. Email: [email protected] Learn more about your ad choices. I’ve got details on both. Second, we’re off to Africa this morning to Timbuktu. And I mean the actual city of Timbuktu, located in the African country of Mali. The Russians are there, up to some sort of funny business. We’ll talk about it. Third, an update on America’s border wars. But this one has nothing to do with illegal drugs or illegal migrants. No, this one has to do with illegal eggs. Finally, a listener question about the Joe Biden Intel Scandal. Some experts are saying that Mr. Biden could have declassified some of those Top Secret documents sitting in his garage and library. I’ll explain why the answer to that is no, he did not have that authority. Later, we close out the podcast with the announcement of a new segment. I’m calling it — Bryan is Wrong. And I think you’ll like it — even if my ego doesn’t. ----- Please remember to subscribe if you enjoyed this episode of the President's Daily Brief. Second, the Prime Minister of Iraq says he’d like for American troops to remain in his country for years to come. I’ll give you those details. Fifth, The Governor of Virginia just told Ford Motor Company to take a hike, all because of their partnership with a Chinese battery company. Second, there are lots of headlines out this morning about China, from their economy to falling population numbers. I’ll sort through all of it, and share one thing that I guarantee nobody else is talking about. Third, I’ve got two pieces of good news. The first is on solar panels, actually, with a new supply chain that’s totally made in America. Fourth, some good news out of Texas. An oil refinery just got expanded there, and that means more diesel and gas, right when we need it most. Later, we close out the podcast with an update on the Joe Biden Intel Scandal. S1 Ep 197December 30th, 2022. Dirty Green Energy: Electric Vehicles
It’s December 30th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ Today is the final episode of our five part series this week on the Dirty Green Revolution. Over the past week, we’ve talked about solar panels, wind turbines, and the batteries that store and distribute their energy. But, as the facts make clear, none of that stuff is clean, green, or renewable at all, despite what proponents might say. It all comes with some pretty horrible costs. And that’s why we call it Dirty Green Energy. Well today we’re wrapping up the series with the one thing that will touch us all profoundly about this Dirty Energy Revolution. And that’s Electric Vehicles. And that’s because over the past several months, the States of California, New York, Washington and others have passed laws saying that if you want to buy a new car starting in the year 2035, it must be electric. There will be no new, gas powered cars ever sold again in those states after that year. And it’s not just these states. Some car manufacturers are agreeing to that deadline it too. General Motors, for instance, has announced that they’ll stop building gas powered cars by 2035. So, folks, we have to talk about this. As consumers, yes, but also as a country. We have to understand whether we should embrace Electric Vehicles or should we do whatever it takes to stop or slow that industry down until we can address the very dirty facts about these cars. ------ Please remember to subscribe if you enjoyed this episode of the President's Daily Brief. S1 Ep 196December 29th, 2022. Dirty Green Energy: Renewable Energy Batteries, Part 2.
It’s December 29th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ Today is Part IV of our Series on Dirty Green Energy — Or as some might say, “renewable energy” or “clean energy.” But always we here at the PDB are asking, “How clean or green is this stuff - really?” Well, so far we’ve discovered that solar panels are not clean or green. They use Chinese slave labor and lots of coal energy to create polysilicon. And we know that wind energy is very dirty too. It’s killing America’s national bird — the bald eagle — but the federal government won’t tell us how many. How odd. Then of course we have to talk about the batteries that store and distribute the dirty green power that comes from solar and wind. Well, yesterday, we talked about the Dirty Minerals that go inside those batteries. And as we now know — Lithium and Cobalt in particular — are very dirty for America: they have to be mined in other countries, and in some cases, the people mining are little children, some only six years old. Today we’re looking at the next, dirty step in the battery process. We gotta explore the refining, the manufacturing, the life, and the ultimate death of these batteries. But before we get going, let’s remind ourselves of the goal of this Dirty Green Energy Series. It is not to degrade solar or wind or batteries because they deserve some sort of unique or targeted prosecution for their sins. Instead, it’s inform ourselves that Green Energy isn’t green at all, but rather very dirty, and we need to hold that industry to the same standards as we do for traditional forms of energy like oil, gas, and coal. ------ Please remember to subscribe if you enjoyed this episode of the President's Daily Brief. S1 Ep 195December 28th, 2022. Dirty Green Energy: Renewable Energy Batteries, Part 1
It’s December 28th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ Welcome back to Part III of this week’s updated and refreshed series on Dirty Green Energy. Others might call it Renewable Energy, or Clean Energy. But not us, not here. That’s because we’re setting aside the spin and agendas, and instead we’re sticking to the facts. And it turns out, the facts and data say there’s nothing clean or green about the two issues we’ve already covered: solar and wind energy. Today we’re going to talk about batteries. Ah, but as it turns out, we need two different briefs on how dirty these things are. First we’ll tackle the minerals inside those batteries, and then — in tomorrow’s brief — we’ll talk about the dirty process of refining and manufacturing these batteries. But before we begin: a reminder. The goal of this series is to remind ourselves of one very important and often ignored fact: every form of energy comes with a cost. Whether that be environmental, humanitarian, national security, or reliability. And we all know that’s true for traditional forms of energy like natural gas and oil. That’s why the media and politicians like to call it Dirty Oil or Dirty Coal. But we rarely if ever hear about those dirty costs related to solar, wind, and electric vehicles. Why is that? Hmm. Odd. Well here on the PDB we’re going to do what others won’t. We’re going to talk about facts and then let you decide whether it’s dirty or clean, and whether it’s smart for America to adopt this industry for its energy future. ------ Please remember to subscribe if you enjoyed this episode of the President's Daily Brief. S1 Ep 194December 27th, 2022. Dirty Green Energy: Wind Farms
It’s December 27th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ It’s day two of Dirty Green Energy — that’s this week’s updated and refreshed five part series looking at what many folks might otherwise know as Renewable Energy. And we’re focused on this issue for one simple reason: Whether you like it or not, America is radically changing. We are being forced to drop oil, gas, and coal for things like solar, wind, and batteries to store their power. And that’s because proponents of this energy revolution say that climate change is an existential crisis. And Renewable or Green energy will help stop it or even reverse it. But is that true? Yesterday we talked about Solar Energy and as it turns out, it is not clean, green, or renewable. It’s very dirty. That doesn’t mean you can’t or shouldn’t buy it — that’s your choice. But know you know much more of the truth, and so you can purchase or support Dirty Green Solar Panels with your eyes wide open. Well that was yesterday. Today we are talking about wind energy. So what do you think: are we going to find more dirty green facts about that wind energy? Oh yes, my friends, such much dirty to discuss. ------ Please remember to subscribe if you enjoyed this episode of the President's Daily Brief. S1 Ep 193December 26th, 2022. Dirty Green Energy: Solar Panels
It’s December 26th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now. ------ I’ve got an update, my friends. A Dirty Green Update. For folks new to the podcast, you might not know what that is. But I bet you’ve heard about Green Energy, or Renewable Energy. Yes, we’re talking about solar panels and wind turbines. Plus the batteries that store and distribute all of that energy. And of course who could forget electric vehicles in this Green Revolution! But — and there’s always a but — how green is that green energy? That’s not a question we hear asked much is it? Instead, we hear about dirty oil, dirty coal, and dirty natural gas. The argument goes that they’re all dirty because of their terrible environmental records. Their ties to foreign dictators. And, of course, their causing of climate change. But what about Green Energy? Is it really green, clean, or renewable? Well that’s what we’re digging into all this week. It’s an update and a refresh on my five part series of whether this new energy revolution is really the picture of purity that we are so often told / or rather are there dirty secrets that people would prefer we not talk about. ------ Please remember to subscribe if you enjoyed this episode of the President's Daily Brief.
