Key to driving your vehicle is to PAY ATTENTION! I was almost in an accident yesterday. I’m leaving Publix with some groceries, driving the painted roadway path in front of The U-Haul facility. This roadway t-bones with an entry/exit section to Babcock Street. The car in front of me, driving the 25 MPH road at idle speed. A car traveling way over 25 heads right toward me as if I were invisible. Not so much that I was, the driver was in a fierce argument with his passenger and was not paying attention. RUNS the intersection STOP sign. Due to my still great reflexes and my innate survival instinct, I maneuvered a quick accelerate, stop, accelerate mauver and drove up onto the empty sidewalk avoiding the one who ran the sign and the one in front of me who did a HARD break stop. Laverne & Shirley, our two new 7-month-old kittens, are getting more and more comfortable with us. They now will sometimes, not often, but sometimes sit nearer to us on the couches.
