The study found that in 2014, only 3.1% of Canadian tax filers claimed charitable donations, down from 25.1% in 2044. Who is Viola Desmond?

A UofT professor is under fire from students accusing him of hate speech, after he refused to use gender-neutral pronouns for non-binary students. Whaaaaat. Langley’s Andy Bhatti is someone who knows full well the effects of childhood sexual assault - he was sexually assaulted by a Big Brother for over 5 years between the ages of 9-14. This past weekend, he biked 500km over four days with his friend and actor Graham Wardle from CBC TV show Heartland. They rode from Port Hardy to Victoria to raise awareness for survivors of childhood victims of sexual assault, and also to raise money for Sophie’s Place Child and Youth Advocacy Centre.
