Hiking is a favourite pastime for many, and this Labour Day weekend thousands of people will be hitting trails across Beautiful B.C. Meanwhile, Search and Rescue teams are gearing up for a potentially busy few days, as incidents typically increase on long weekends. There are dozens of hiking trails at BC Hydro’s recreation sites and these trails can pose dangers for people who are not properly prepared. While we want people to enjoy these sites, we also want to make sure you stay safe.
