Rich Roll QUIT his job in his 40's. Then he started over completely. He went from lawyer to extreme athlete, bestselling author, podcaster, a speaker and more. I went on his podcast recently. Maria Konnikova is a psychologist who studied her way into becoming a poker champion. She told me all the steps. And how this made her think better and more strategically about everything in life. She studied from scratch with one of the greatest poker players in history. Then she wrote a book about the experience, "The Biggest Bluff: How I Learned to Pay Attention, Master Myself, and Win." Everyone says, "Flatten the curve." But there are two curves. We all know the main one: the spread of coronavirus. AI used to be, what most people thought, was the biggest threat to our economic security. Now it's coronavirus. BUT one of the side effects of coronavirus is an acceleration of our future. Dan Carlin hosts the #1 history podcast, "Hardcore History." It has a cult following. For a lot of reasons: 1. Dan has an incredible voice. 2. his research is so weird and extensive and detailed. And 3. Dan is known for breaking rules. He went around the standard path. And decided that he didn't need to have a history degree or some pre-approved "credentials" to create the best history show out there. He just went ahead and did it.
