Episode 226: Joe Biden Is A Corrupt Ghoul
EIn this episode we’ll take a look at the ongoing debate between Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden regarding social security, discuss Biden’s attacks on Bernie Sanders, and we’ll then shift gears to Hillary Clinton’s latest attack on Bernie Sanders along with the response that received. We’ll also discuss Pete Buttigieg’s “please clap” moment, the return of the Bernie Bro myth, Bernie’s poll numbers, Trump’s incompetence, and more! Finally, we’ll close the show by talking to Paige Kreisman, a 2020 candidate from Oregon.

Episode 225: Refund Warren
EIn this episode we’ll talk about Elizabeth Warren’s pathetic attempt to smear Bernie Sanders as well as the aftermath of the beef she started. We’ll also zero in on more of Joe Biden’s atrocious record, give you a breakdown of the final Democratic debate before the Iowa caucus, and discuss how Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is taking on the DCCC. Finally we’ll close the show by talking to 2020 congressional candidate Hector Oseguera from New Jersey’s 8th congressional district.

Episode 224: Trump’s Colossal F*ck Up
EIn our first episode of 2020 we’ll chronicle Donald Trump’s colossal f*ck up in Iran. On top of that we’ll continue our coverage of the Democratic Primary, namely Bernie Sanders’ standing. We’ll also discuss Joe Biden’s electoral chances, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s thoughts on Joe Biden, Judge Judy’s endorsement of Mike Bloomberg, and much more. Finally, we’ll close the show by talking to Professor Harvey J. Kaye about his new book and 2020 congressional candidate Amanda Siebe about her campaign.

Episode 223: 2̶0̶1̶9̶ 2020
EIn this MASSIVE episode—and final show of 2019—we’ll close the year out with a bang! We’ll end on a high note by talking about how Bernie Sanders is currently surging. On top of that we’ll discuss the UK election, attacks by the media on Cenk Uygur, the campaigns of Pete Buttigieg and Joe Biden, and much more. Additionally, we’ll have our annual THR Award Show with two very special guests and close the show by talking to 2020 congressional candidate Donna Imam.

Episode 220: Boycott MSNBC
EIn this episode we’ll discuss how MSNBC continues to fail loyal left-leaning and liberal viewers who rely on them for fair and objective coverage. They’ve not only continued to display hatred towards Bernie Sanders, causing actor John Cusack to call fo ra boycott, but they’ve also ignored campaigns from other anti-establishment candidates like Andrew Yang. On top of that, the commentary provided by MSNBC hosts (like Chris Matthews) is laughably stupid and out of touch. We’ll focus on MSNBC’s bias but also talk about The New York Times and Politico’s contempt for Bernie Sanders. Additionally we’ll discuss Joe Biden’s failing campaign, student loan debt cancellation, Amy Klobuchar’s supporters, the U.K. election, and more. We’ll close the show by talking to 2020 congressional candidate Zina Spezakis.

Episode 222: Orange Man SAD (!)
EAs Donald Trump’s brain continues to turn to mush and melt out of his ears, he’s also getting increasingly evil (sad!)—not that those two things are correlated. We’ll talk about how he opposes even the most milquetoast reform on lowering prescription drug costs. On top of that, he went on another unhinged rant about toilets that further demonstrates why he’s out of touch and genuinely stupid. Additionally, we’ll talk about Bernie Sanders’ incredible plan to save net neutrality and promote public broadband, Hillary Clinton’s bitter bashing of Bernie, Mayor Pete’s duplicity and more. Finally, we’ll close the show by talking to a 2020 candidate for the U.S. Senate, Kimberly Graham. Kimberly will talk about her plan to kick Joni Ernst to the curb and make her SQUEAL in 2020 (eeeeeiiiiiii!!!).

Episode 221: To Beat Trump, Vote Bernie
EIn this episode we’ll talk about electability and why there’s only one candidate who is the best bet to go against Donald Trump in 2020: Bernie Sanders. Additionally, we’ll discuss Joe Biden’s ‘No Malarkey’ tour, AOC’s dunking on Mayor Pete, hosts of ‘The View’ richsplaining of Medicare For All, Brits’ reactions to U.S. healthcare costs, billionaire bootlicking on CNN, Kamala’s campaign, Trump’s contempt for the poor, the #WarOnChristmas, and more! Finally, we’ll close the show by talking to 2020 congressional candidate Cenk Uygur about his campaign.

Episode 219: Buck Futtigieg
EThe media’s darling, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, is surging to first place in early primary states. His rise is mostly due to nonstop adoration from the media as well as erasure of massive scandals that have plagued his campaign. We’ll talk about why the rise of Pete is bad because he’s a liability in the general election, and on top of that we’ll discuss the scandals media refuses to talk about. We’ll also discuss #Fartgate, Cenk 2020, Warren’s backtrack on Medicare For All, conservative outrage over Chick-Fil-A, impeachment, Trump’s horrible new Israel stance, Biden’s boomer take on pot legalization, and the 5th Democratic Party primary debate. We’ll close the show by talking to 2020 congressional candidate Melanie D’Arrigo.

Episode 218: Bernie Vs. Billionaires
EBillionaire Michael Bloomberg is jumping in the 2020 race to capitalize on Joe Biden’s (likely) failure, and Bernie Sanders had a strong welcoming message for him: you’re not going to buy this election. On top of that the spouse of a billionaire attempted to send Bernie Sanders a $470 check, but he returned it, making him the only candidate in the race to remain untainted by billionaire money. On top of Bernie’s battles with billionaires we’ll talk about the U.S.-backed military coup in Bolivia, Trump Jr., Joe Biden’s CNN Town Hall, Trump’s impeachment hearing, mainstream media’s bias, Dave Rubin, and more. Finally, we’ll close the show by talking to 2020 congressional candidate Heidi Sloan who’s running in Texas’ 25th congressional district.

Episode 217: The Bernie Blackout
EThe mainstream media is trying to erase Bernie Sanders. They’ve hated him since 2015—we’ve been dealing with this for four years now—but this time their attempts to bury his campaign are so brazen and conspicuous it can no longer NOT be called out by everyone. This includes people who don’t support Bernie Sanders, but are concerned with fairness and objectivity and realize this may one day harm a candidate they support in the future. With that being said, we’ll discuss the #BernieBlackout and talk about the election results, Elizabeth Warren’s plan to finance Medicare For All, Trump’s takeover of the federal judiciary, a new warning from scientists about climate change, Amazon’s attempt to defeat socialist Kshama Sawant, and we’ll be joined by Nomiki Konst and Jovanka Beckles to talk about the launch of their new Justice Democrats-esque organization called Matriarch. We’ll close the show by talking to 2020 congressional candidate Russ Cirincione who’s running against Frank Pallone in New Jersey’s 6th congressional district.
Episode 216: Our Best Bet Is Bernie
EIf you want to beat Donald Trump in 2020, it’s important to recognize that Bernie Sanders is our best bet. Rashida Tlaib knows this, and she officially endorsed Bernie Sanders. On top of that Ilhan Omar correctly pointed out that a Biden or Buttigieg nomination would be “tragic” likely because she knows this would facilitate another Trump victory. Even non-political figures like ATL-based Rapper T.I. knows Bernie can win because he’s the “antithesis” of Donald Trump. The writing is on the wall: Bernie can beat Donald Trump. We’ll zero in on that discussion in this episode and also talk about Bill Maher’s spin of Bernie’s ‘Squad’ endorsements, Trump at the World Series, Buttigieg’s problem attracting black voters, support for Medicare For All, and also Fox News’ criticism of Democrats that fly in airplanes (again). We’ll also talk to congressional candidate Jason Call from Washington state.

Episode 215: I Guess We’re Going To Talk About 2016 Again…
EHillary Clinton… Jill Stein… Tulsi Gabbard… Bernie Sanders… 2016 is back! Hillary Clinton makes a not-so-triumphant return to smear Tulsi Gabbard and Jill Stein, which catalyzed a national conversation (for the millionth time) about 2016 election and who—besides Hillary, of course—is to blame. So, here’s the thing, 2016—like it or not—will be an election year we’re going to continue to discuss for the foreseeable future; so if we’re going to relive it, let’s actually change the outcome this time. Let’s get Bernie Sanders elected! And while we’re on the subject of 2016, we’ll talk to Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s new primary challenger, Jen Perelman, about her campaign to oust one of the most corrupt members of Congress.

Episode 214: Welcome Back, Bernie
EBernie is back, and he’s stronger than ever. He returns to the campaign trail with an all-new proposal—The Corporate Accountability Act—and picked up some crucial endorsements from members of The Squad (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib); and on top of that, he absolutely crushed it at the debate. We’ll talk about all of that and explain why Elizabeth Warren isn’t as trustworthy on Medicare For All as Bernie. We’ll talk about Pete Buttigieg’s decision to sell his soul to the health insurance industry, reparations, Trump’s bizarre letter to Erdogan, and for some reason, we’ll talk about Amy Klobuchar quite a bit in this episode, and more. We’ll close the show by talking to 2020 congressional candidate from Portland, Oregon, Albert Lee.

Episode 213: Bernie Has Heart
EIn this episode we’ll discuss the aftermath of Bernie Sanders’ heart attack and how Democratic Party strategists are already spinning the story to suggest he’s dishonest. Additionally we’ll talk about Bernie Sanders’ plan to reign in corporate money in politics, moronic attacks on his wealth tax, Amy Klobuchar’s appeal to conservatives, Ellen Degeneres’ friendship with George W. Bush, Joe Biden’s flailing campaign, MAGA chuds, and finally, we’ll close the show by talking to 2020 congressional candidate Jose Caballero.

Episode 212: Nobody Comes Close To Bernie, Stop Fooling Yourself
ELet’s be real. Let’s be REALLY real. Bernie Sanders is better than everyone else in the race, so let’s stop pretending that candidates like Elizabeth Warren, Tulsi Gabbard, Andrew Yang, and Marianne Williamson even come CLOSE to Bernie Sanders. They may marginally outflank him from the left on particular issues here and there, but he’s the most well-rounded ideologically, class conscious, grassroots funded, movement minded candidate that’s unquestionably best for the left. This is a fight for our lives—literally—and he’s made it clear he’s going to implement a transformative agenda that could get us on the trajectory of social democracy, so if we want to beat the establishment, uniting behind him is a no brainer. So on that note, we’ll talk about Bernie’s plan to curb CEO pay, how he’s now the only candidate in the race that supports a single-payer, Medicare For All system (and hasn’t wavered on it), and we’ll talk about how his LGBTQIA+ policies would change the lives of millions of Americans. Additionally, we’ll discuss Botham Jean, net neutrality, Trump’s unraveling, and we’ll close the show by talking to 2020 congressional candidate Justin Bonner.

Episode 211: PMCEHAI HTE EHTMOR RUFCKE
EIn this episode we’ll talk about the impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump and look at the risks, reward, and history of impeachment proceedings. On top of that we’ll discuss the global ‘School Strike for Climate’ as well as conservatives’ vicious attacks on teen climate activist Greta Thunberg. We’ll also talk about Joe Biden, Tim Ryan, CNN’s bias, and we’ll close the show by talking to 2020 congressional candidate Isiah James about his campaign.

Episode 210: The Growing Sanders-Warren Rift
EAs Bernie Sanders continues to take Joe Biden to task, Elizabeth Warren continues to rise in the polls. In this episode we’ll focus on the growing Sanders-Warren rift in the Democratic Primary. This will include a discussion about the Working Families Party’s endorsement of Warren over Sanders as well as an analysis of interviews from Warren supporters that explain why they’re supporting her over Bernie. Additionally, we’ll talk about Bill Maher’s stupidity, Pete Buttigieg’s duplicity, and Trump’s hawkishness. We’ll close out the show by talking to 2020 congressional candidate Robert Emmons Jr.

Episode 209: Bernie Levels Up
EIn this jam-packed episode of The Humanist Report, we’ll discuss how Bernie Sanders’ campaign continues to improve; offering up new policy positions for issues few discuss. We’ll also discuss the media’s bias against Bernard as well as the corruption of Trump’s administration. Also on this episode: Fox News decided to bash Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez multiple times, Whoopi Goldberg defended Trump’s wealthy donors, and actress Alyssa Milano offered Democrats advice that’s so terrible… she’ll likely be hired as a DCCC strategist because of it (subtext: because they’re terrible at strategizing and consulting). We’ll also interview Representative Ro Khanna and talk to congressional candidate Paula Jean Swearengin about her 2020 campaign

Episode 208: Bernard’s In Charge
EBernie Sanders has reclaimed his spot at the top, according to one poll, and in the process he’s showing us exactly why he’s the leader we need. He has a strategy to take on Mitch McConnell’s obstructionism, describes how he’d pressure Brazil’s Bolsonaro to save the Amazon rainforest, and knows exactly what needs to be done to save the economy. Meanwhile, as Elizabeth Warren enjoys her frontrunner status, she’s buttering up Democratic Party elites. Interesting strategy, isn’t it?

Episode 207: Neoliberal Nightmares
EIn this episode we’ll talk about the neoliberal plague that has infected the Democratic Party. While in the Hamptons, Kamala Harris finally told the truth about her feelings towards Medicare For All. Additionally, Joe Biden keeps getting more and more Trumpian. We’ll also talk about Maher’s smear of BDS proponents as well as Marianne Williamson’s wishy-washiness when it comes to Medicare For All. Together, we’ll talk about these neoliberal nightmares and sooth ourselves afterwards with some new policy proposals from Bernard Sanders.

Episode 206: The Trumps Of The World
EIn this episode we’ll talk about the destruction caused by the Trumps of the world. Starting at home, we’ll discuss Donald Trump’s ICE raids as well as his plan to censor the internet. In Brazil we’ll discuss how Jair Bolsonaro is accelerating deforestation of the Amazon rainforest. In India Narendra Modi suddenly instituted an authoritarian crackdown on Kashmir. We’ll also talk about CNN’s rebuttal to Bernie Sanders’ critique of corporate media, Fox News’ attempt to portray Bernie Sanders as a kook, a touching moment from Andrew Yang, how Tom Steyer may leapfrog legitimate 2020 candidates because he’s a billionaire, and we’ll also talk about a sentient Nintendo Gamecube’s attack on Bernie Sanders.

Episode 202: Squad II: The Establishment Strikes Back
ELast time we talked about The Squad’s spat with Nancy Pelosi (this includes Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley), but this week The Squad is being targeted by someone else: Donald Trump. He tweeted that they should go back to their home countries if they dislike America (all four are American citizens and three were born here). We’ll dig into Trump’s morally reprehensible comments, talk about Lindsey Graham’s unhinged attack on them, and we’ll also revisit the Pelosi-Squad dispute and talk about how House Democrats want AOC’s Chief of Staff, Saikat Chakrabarti fired for criticizing them. EIn this episode we discuss how Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are trying to be the best on student loan debt cancellation, the Koch Brothers’ infiltration into the Democratic Party, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s pressure on Pelosi when it comes to impeaching Trump, David Rubin’s profound stupidity, and Bernie Sanders’ game-changing speech on democratic socialism, which he pitches as the continuation of FDR’s legacy.

Episode 196: Centrist Cowards and Crybully Babies
EIn this episode we’ll discuss the coward centrists running for president in 2020 that are too afraid to support Medicare For All because they know they’ll anger their health industry donors. Additionally, we’ll talk about Steven Crowder’s middle school-level bullying of Vox journalist Carlos Maza and why people shouldn’t buy into Crowder’s victimization complex. Additionally we’ll talk about Tomi Lahren’s straight pride, Joe Biden’s flip-flop, climate change, net neutrality with Ron Placone, and more!

These topics (and more) will all be talked about on this episode of the podcast, so buckle up buckaroo, because Bernie’s back and everyone’s feeling the bern again!

Episode 180: Ilhan Oh My God!
EIlhan Omar broke a cardinal rule in Washington D.C. this week: she criticized AIPAC’s influence on politicians. The aftermath was a total meltdown by members of both parties in Congress over her comment supposedly being “anti-semitic,” with calls for apologies and resignations dominating political discourse this week. The reality, however, is that she’s absolutely right about their influence on politicians. We can say that and also acknowledge the need to protect the Jewish people—not to be confused with the pro-Israel lobbying firm, AIPAC—from actual instances of hate and bigotry (which is often perpetuated by the very individuals that were quick to call her out, ironically). Additionally, we’ll talk about Trump’s hot take on climate change, Howard Schultz’s CNN town hall, Ro Khanna’s defense of net neutrality, Tulsi Gabbard’s progressive foreign policy vision, a new warning from scientists about diminishing insect populations, and more.

Episode 179: Medicare For… Get About It
EThe current crop of 2020 Democratic Party presidential contenders—for the most part—all seem to support Bernie Sanders’ Medicare for All proposal, but whenever they’re pushed on specific details, they’re inadvertently revealing that they’re not actually serious about it. Sherrod Brown flat out just doesn’t support it, Elizabeth Warren—like Kamala Harris—suddenly supports “many paths” to Medicare for All, Cory Booker won’t get rid of the filibuster in order to fight for it, and Howard Schultz… well, he’s Howard Schultz. We’ll talk about why Bernie Sanders is the only 2020 candidate that’s serious about getting Medicare for All. Additionally, we’ll talk about the net neutrality legal battle, Michael Moore’s take on 2020, Trump’s endorsement of religion in schools, and more!

Episode 178: Eat The Rich
EAll throughout the week we’ve been bombarded by smugness and condescension from some of the wealthiest elites in the world; starting at the WEC in Davos, where billionaires laughed at the idea of a 70% marginal tax rate. To top things off, former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz floated the idea of a “centrist independent” presidential run in 2020; and on top of that, him and his friend (another billionaire) Michael Bloomberg teamed up to tell the peasants we can’t have Medicare for All. It’s time we eat the rich.

Episode 177: Dem Skeletons
EMultiple Democratic Party presidential candidates have announced their candidacy for the presidency, but along with these announcements comes revelations about their records and how “progressive” they’ve been throughout their careers, as they now pretend to be Bernie Sanders lite. So with that being said we’ll look at the past record of Kamala Harris as well as Joe Biden’s borderline extremist “tough on crime” stance he held in the late-‘80s. Additionally, we’ll talk about how Tulsi Gabbard’s campaign reached out to the show in order to lend some clarification to questions we raised in last week’s episode about her record. We’ll also talk about Bernie Sanders’ upcoming presidential campaign, the Supreme Court’s cowardly position on Transgender rights, and more. Enjoy!
