Gordon Chang says the Biden Administration’s foreign policy is in collapse and we have not seen such a rapid failure of the United States in our lifetimes. President Trump had the most successful Middle East policy of any American President since FDR. We had stable relations with everyone in the region except Iran. Now China has become the dominant power in the Middle East because Biden opened the door for them. We sacrificed our foreign policy, allowed the Chinese to take over the Gulf Cooperation Council and now we’re being chased out of the region. What Biden has done is take a stable region that is now aflame because of Iran, China and Iran’s proxies. There have been over 100 attacks on American forces in the region. Dr. Carol Swain was disappointed when she found out that her work had been stolen by Harvard President Claudine Gay and she was sure Gay would lose her job with so much evidence of plagiarism. But when Harvard announced they were keeping her as President and she would be allowed to make corrections, Swain was livid. Dr. Swain is not walking away from this controversy because she believes it has implications for all higher education if Harvard decides it can redefine plagiarism, that there are different levels of plagiarism that is acceptable for ethnic minorities. We all know if Claudine Gay were White, she would have been fired by now. The double standard harms everyone, not just Blacks who have worked hard to meet the standards. It harms all of American education which is already in decline. Swain says with Gay, Harvard is in a conundrum. They don’t know how to dispose of their first Black President and she could be the poster child for DEI. Rep. Bob Good says the Freedom Caucus initially considered backing Mike Johnson to challenge McCarthy because he represented the Conservative center. Good says he’s done some good things but he’s also made decisions that were glaring mistakes especially forcing a poor version of the NDAA and attaching the FISA extension without protections for Constitutional liberties. Good says while not attacking Johnson personally, everyone has to be held accountable. This is a performance-based business. Cornell Law Prof. William Jacobson says the antisemitic controversies at Harvard, M.I.T., Cornell and Penn are a reflection of the decline of our elite academic institutions. Whether it’s DEI or CRT it’s elevating politics over academic substance and it’s centering race in the middle of everything. Geopolitical and National Security expert Gordon Chang says Joe Biden warned China that the U.S. was prepared to use force to defend the Philippines but Beijing ignored him and continue their provocative actions ramming Philippine vessels, firing water cannons on their ships. Ignoring American warnings means deterrence has broken down. Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan says the FBI has abused so many things including the main FISA program. One of the reforms coming out of his Committee will allow representatives from Judiciary to be present in the courtroom to watch FISA proceedings. Jordan says this is the same FBI that spied on President Trump’s campaign and we’re supposed to reauthorize FISA without change? This is the same FBI that queried the database and didn’t follow their own rules 278,000 times. Jordan’s not against reauthorizing FISA Section 702. He’s against doing it in a way that doesn’t protect American’s civil liberties. That’s been the sole focus of Republicans on the Judiciary Committee and some Democrats as well. Jordan says when President Trump is re-elected, he should fire everyone he’s allowed to fire and a few he’s not allowed to fire just to make sure they sue him and we send the message that the bureaucracy is changing under President Trump. Jordan believes the House has a compelling Biden corruption case. He says there will be a vote next week and they will move to a formal impeachment inquiry with the entire House backing it up, not just a statement from the Speaker.  GUEST: JUDICIARY CHAIRMAN, REP. Fmr House Intel Chairman Devin Nunes says as Congress faces the dilemma of reauthorizing FISA Section 702, members of Congress must decide how they’re going to stop the corruption at the DOJ that is threatening not only the security of our elections but the Republican Party itself. Donald Trump is leading Biden in the national polls and they’re trying to put him in jail with all the charges he’s facing. The FBI used the FISA court to spy on a presidential candidate back in 2016. They used the counterintelligence division of the DOJ and FBI to surveil a President. The House should just pass short term CR’s until they get the answers they want from the DOJ and FBI about targeting Donald Trump, about the invasion at the southern border. Nunes says the only solution to end the corruption of FISA is to have members of the House and Senate oversee the Executive and Judicial Branch. They won’t like the embedded oversight but they can’t be trusted. Tell them you’ll fund them for 30 days until they get the information requested. Then decide whether to fund them for another 30 days. It’s the only leverage the GOP has with a slim majority. Trump pollster John McLaughlin’s latest poll shows 68% of all Americans say the country’s on the wrong track, 65% think the economy is getting worse and 84% have been hurt by inflation while more voters say “Bidenomics” is a form of socialism. When asked if voters prefer big government socialism or free market capitalism, they choose capitalism by a 4 to 1 margin. McLaughlin’s polling reveals that all of the indictments against Trump have backfired. 67% of all voters believe politics played a role and 61% of voters believe Biden is behind all the trumped up charges against his political opponent. When asked if there’s a double standard of justice, 82% to 9% of all primary voters say yes. McLaughlin says President Trump is leading Biden in all of the national polls. Polling shows voters don’t want all these court cases: 85% of primary voters say voters should decide who is President, prosecutors, judges and juries. McLaughlin says his poll shows it’s because they want President Trump to beat Joe Biden.  The Dems don’t want voter ID or ballot security, or election integrity.
