A User-Friendly Pro-Life Strategy
Every family should be pro-life and contribute something to the greatest need in our society today—saving souls and saving lives. Here’s a user-friendly, easily engaged, everybody-can-do-it approach to get out there for the pro-life cause. Children are dying in this country . . . by the millions. It is the glaring need, the crying need of the day. To be silent . . . is to be complicit. To refuse the light . . . is to allow the darkness to dominate. How can your church become a House of Refuge for Life? How can your family get out on the front lines of prayer? How can you turn on the lights in the gathering darkness? Christians Taken by Brave New World
As the world goes nuts with every form of paganism, what will Christians do with tattooing, cannibalism, hired wombs, creating clones, three-parent children, polygamy, etc., etc. We encourage Christians to a thoughtful confrontation with the present Brave New World instead of mindlessly accepting its ethics and practices. Here is some discussion on snowflake adoptions. We also talk through the question of renting a house to a couple living in fornication. And we take up another question on activists who resort to cursing politicians. Christians must be more and more on their game—not babes in the woods—when it comes to this world that has declared war on God (especially in science and social moral standards). At the least, let us look for a redemptive trajectory in the midst of the devastation of modern science and modern life.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Ecstatic Religions & Roots of Rock and Roll
Wayward religions, weird cults, ecstatic expressions have played a role in certain revolutions. We trace the roots of the Bolshevik revolution in Russia to the rise of cults, moral anarchy, and a few other influences. Certain ecstatic expressions open up to the demonic, and this we find in the Bolshevik revolution as well as the firsthand testimonies of men like Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, etc. How do we avoid these dangerous excesses even within certain sects of Christianity?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Skipping Church for Christmas
Skipping church for Christmas is like opting to celebrate your wedding anniversary alone. Is family time more important than the body of Christ, enjoying the presence of Christ where the church is gathered, and celebrating communion/fellowship with Christ at the Lord's Table? Which is the priority according to biblical imperative? This actually introduces a more fundamental question. Is the church really necessary? Does one really have to belong to the body of Christ as a member in particular?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
How to Start a World War
Those who fail to learn from the mistakes of history are doomed to repeat them. Referring back to Germany and Russia at the turn of the 20th century, we identify the seedbeds for a worldwide explosion in anarchy, revolution, and world wars—bringing about hundreds of millions of deaths. Moral anarchy, economic stresses, demonic infiltration, and national pride are roots. Biblical wisdom cautions about this business of taking a mad pit bull by its ears.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
A Radical, Comprehensive Call to Holiness
What's wrong with this testimony? "I want to be justified, but not sanctified. I want to be forgiven, but not cleansed from my sin. I want to be dead in my sins, but still forgiven of sins. I want to be free to sin, but not free from sin. . . ." Salvation does bring new life, and forgiveness is always attended by the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit. The subject can be controversial and a bit complicated in places. But here Dr. Joel Beeke, President of Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, lays out in plain, accessible language for us—the necessity of holiness, the theology of holiness, and the way to holiness. An essential message for ALL CHRISTIANS!New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
The Battle of the Circuits
The Circuit Courts are battling it out, but finally the Democrat-appointed justices are still winning out in terms of sheer numbers. Two moderates on the US Supreme Court have been tipping private property rights the wrong direction. Christians need to hold consistently to free speech AND private property rights, but what does this look like? Suppose a 501 c(3) pro-life organization or a pro-life plumber hires somebody who spends his Saturdays campaigning for Joe Biden. They fire that person, and then get sued on a 1st Amendment basis. Or suppose a Christian school hires some teacher whom they discover later to be protesting for "Gay Rights" on Saturdays. What about a private university that disallows teaching on Evolution . . . or disallows teaching on Buddhism . . . or Islam? Do I have the right to not allow a Buddhist club to organize on my campus? The only way out of this . . . is to privatize all education now.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Ectolife and the Mechanical Womb
Designer babies. Gene editing. Automated abortions at the push of a button. Mechanical wombs for hire. The pieces are already in place for baby farms. The modern world has depersonalized, dehumanized, and de-relationalized at every stage of human life. We give multiple examples of this, but the final step is the mechanical womb. Researchers say it's about 10 years out now. It is the abolition of man, and Christians are the only ones on planet Earth who have what it takes to restore relationship and real love.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
10 Million Missing Men
There are 10 million missing men in the workforce. . . . Total employment numbers have slipped another 400,000 workers just since 2019, with another 10 million population to feed. There's less people doing the work, and the average productivity of workers have slipped since 2020. Getting back to the fundamentals, what is it that makes for strong economies according to a biblical view of economics?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
The George Soros Worldview
Why are our governments rejecting the death penalty for murder and embracing the soft-on-crime worldview—while at the same time increasing the purview and power of government? Why does George Soros fund the Soft-on-Crime District Attorneys in major cities around the country? There is the worldview that is soft on criminals and hard on everybody else, and then there is the worldview that is hard on criminals and soft on everybody else. We analyze the Karl Popper/George Soros worldview, and find another attempt at autonomy/rebellion against God.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Family Legacy - What Will You Leave?
As far as a family legacy goes, we want to leave a spiritual heritage to our children and our children's children. That is the most important, but how do we communicate that? Kanye West, Alex Jones, Elizabeth Holmes, et. al.
We take a quick look at Kanye West, Alex Jones, and Donald Trump, but move on to important lessons from the Proverbs. As Kipling would put it, we limp up to explain it once more . . . Here's the tale of two girls and a guy. These were just kids, super self-confident kids who were able to dupe millions of people, including some of the most respected cabinet officials of the most powerful nation on Earth. Have we become a nation of dupes? We don't recognize character anymore. We don't recognize healthy economics, wisdom in the area of business anymore . . . we don't recognize good science, well-tested technology . . . anymore. . . . We can't distinguish any of this from sheer hype, youthful foolish energy, nice-sounding platitudes, and empires built on sand.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Why Christians Are Discriminated Against
Christian restaurants would probably provide food for Muslim groups, or liberal groups, but here’s a restaurant in Richmond, Virginia, that refused service to a Christian group. While Christians are gracious at many levels, still we wonder if Christian catering businesses would cater nudist camps. Why are Christians most likely to be discriminated against in this society? How Christians Won in 1987
Christians actually won significant court battles in 1987 when it came to taking moral stands. We tell the story of Dr. Greg Bahnsen and the court battles fought by a Mrs. Smith. Now they lose. The National Association of Evangelicals and the CCCU is on the wrong side on HR8404 and the persecution of Christians. The PCA moved to the right side of this (leaving the NAE) in June, but not so the Vineyard, the CRC, the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Assemblies of God, the Christian Missionary Alliance, and the Evangelical Free churches. Also, New St. Andrews pulled out of the CCCU; Patrick Henry College and Master’s College are keeping their distance from the CCCU. The Dividing Line of those with Christ, and those against Him, is forming. New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Tentacles of Leviathan Reaching for the Kids
Reviewing the numbers, public school student population up 7.6%, teacher population up 8.7%, and administration up 87.6% since the year 2000? Social engineering is in full gear now. Schools, doll companies, and Disney are all on board with the program. But what's really interesting is the scene playing out in Dearborn, Michigan. The decrepit old Western civilization is dying, while the Muslim population is up in arms with the sexual and social burn out. Tyranny is on the rise, but so is the suicidal tendencies of an entire civilization. These western tyrannies do not have what it takes to survive.
Taking Down the Big Dragon
Is there a rash of sexual sin rising up in your church community? Here we ask the tough questions of Pastor Heath Lambert, author of "Finally Free." What is the difference between struggling, being in the battle, giving up, and gaining victory? How do we cultivate a culture of walking in the light, hearing confessions, encouraging repentance and faith, and yet not pampering sin? Once young men in the church start to open up to confession, and they fall again, and again, and again, how do pastors react to this?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Huge Religious Liberty Case
For two and half hours yesterday, December 5th, the Supreme Court heard a major religious liberty case. Guest host Adam McManus interviewed Matt Sharp, Senior Counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom, about the right of Lorie Smith, the Christian owner of 303 Creative, a Denver, Colorado website design company, to refuse to create websites for homosexual faux weddings. Colorado’s law would force Lorie to use her artistic web design skills to speak messages celebrating homosexual faux weddings if she speaks messages celebrating marriage between one man and one woman. But on top of that, the law acts as a gag order that prevents Lorie from expressing on her website the reasons why she only creates websites celebrating certain ideas. This is censorship. And it’s a violation of Lorie’s First Amendment rights. That’s why, in 2016, Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys filed a lawsuit on Lorie’s behalf, challenging the law in federal court. Nearly three years later, a judge issued a final ruling allowing Colorado officials to force Lorie to design and publish websites promoting messages that conflict with her religious beliefs. In October 2019, Lorie appealed to the 10th Circuit, asking it to reverse the lower court’s decision. Then, in July 2021, the 10th Circuit issued an unprecedented ruling in Lorie’s case, upholding the Colorado law that requires Lorie to promote pro-homosexual faux marriage messages against her conscience in violation of her First Amendment freedom. So, in September 2021, Lorie asked the Supreme Court to take up her case and reverse the 10th Circuit’s ruling and protect her First Amendment rights. Watch a 5-minute video about Lorie Smith’s story. McManus cited the RedState.com article entitled “Justice Gorsuch Leaves CO Solicitor General Stammering During Oral Arguments on Religious Liberty.” Listen to the two-and-a-half-hour oral arguments before the Supreme Court, complete with all the questions from the justices, in this CSPAN link.
Do Americans Really Support “Gay Mirage?”
Seventy-one percent of Americans say they support "Gay Mirage," but is that really so? The vast majority still reprobate unfaithfulness in marriage, but they don't seem to care about what homosexuals do in their "commitments." So what gives? We explore the reasons why this moral travesty has steamrolled the American landscape. Yet, these things come and go. We compare Sati and Eugenics to the current sexual perversion rage. Here we examine the Libertarian ethic allowing consenting adults to do whatever they want to do.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
V-safe Data, Death Data, Sudden Deaths
We hit some of the sudden death reporting, death data post Covid-Vaccine release, and V-safe data, and ask the questions. Where are the more honest investigations into the tough questions? Where are the studies with decent sample sizes, looking at blood clotting (types and frequencies)? Who do you trust? Here's our basic premise: Science based on both humanist hubris and big government bias is not to be trusted. The bigger concern is the ready submission to tyranny. It appears the push back against tyranny may be growing in Iran and China—but what about in the West?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Names That Live in Infamy
Jesus said that offenses must necessarily come, but woe to him by whom they will come. We name names on this edition of the program—names by whom offenses come. The misnamed "Respect for Marriage Act," codifying the faux-marriage of men with men who "dishonor their bodies among themselves, was approved by the US Senate Monday and Wednesday nights, thanks to the support of twelve Republican Senators. Other significant decisions that brought great destruction upon whole nations are listed here, and we will name names. But then, popular culture is now a major player—chief of which is Disney. What It Takes to Shepherd
Here are the absolutely indispensable qualities of a shepherd in home and church. Vicious wolves are always out to destroy the flock. How do we discern them, remain watchful, and take them down? HR8404 and the End of the West
The modern trend is a first in the history of mankind—the codifying of sodomite marriages in the US with the passage of the Disrespect for Marriage Act in the US Senate last night. We look at the actual homophobia that characterizes most Christian leaders, who are deathly afraid of offending homosexual activists by speaking truth. Here are more indications of the Death of the West. Meanwhile, world population and power is shifting south and east. The Worldview of Fauci
The fruits of humanism and the hubris of modern humanist science is now becoming evident in the wreckage left in the wake of a certain Dr. Fauci. Donald Trump vs. Rob Portman in 2024
We come back to a 2022 elections review. First the good news - education freedom won in 2020 and 2022 both. But then, the question is whether the Republican Party needs to bend more towards Donald Trump and Populism, or Rob Portman and pro-homosexual centrism. How about neither? The Manliness of Jesus
With the emphasis on the softness of Jesus, has the modern church lost the power of Jesus, the courage of Jesus, and the manliness of Christ? Today’s Christianity is fixated on emotionalism, pageantry, and a softly-lit worship experience aimed to make you sway your hips for Jesus. The church, in a very real way, has become effeminate and delicate. What about the manliness of the church? Do we need a return to Biblical masculinity and femininity both?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Gen Z and The Cool
While the Baby Boomers are retired and hitting the golf course, the Gen Z generation can’t get a job, and they’re living in their parents’ basement. How is this going to work out? Boomers are ten-times richer than the Millennials, and the worker-to-retiree ratio will be one third of what it was fifty years ago, ten years from now. And, at least 54 percent of adults aged 18–25 are opting to live with their parents out of economic necessity. How is this going to work out? Here is Kevin Swanson’s advice to his children: Don’t be a millennial. Don’t be a Gen Z-er. Don’t be cool. Don’t do Facebook. Swim upstream. Big Liberal Tech . . . and It’s Quick Demise
The Gay Borg has virtually taken over the corporate world now. The HRC report 2022 indicated 99.7% of Fortune 500 companies have pro-LGBT policies . . . up from 5% in 2001. Major Christian ministries have been censored, cancelled, or deplatformed by the dozens, and thousands more of the little guys received the same treatment. KJV, Headcoverings, and Reformed
Churches love distinctives—things that make them distinct (and look like they are better than) other churches. Distinctives are fine. The trouble comes in when the distinctive becomes the major to the surrender of the other majors—when we lose the camels in the gnats. We get into Bible translations from the Septuagint to the Vulgate to the King James Version, and all the others. We love the KJV, but people can go to hell clinging to their KJV and not really believing what’s in it. We end with the short story on what makes a healthy church. "The Chosen" Film in Theaters
Is "The Chosen" finally bringing Christians, Mormons, and Catholics together in ecumenical unity? Who is this Jesus presented in the TV series? Is this a Jesus like the rest of us, the latter-day saints Jesus, or the least common denominator (LCD) Jesus? Or, is this the Creator of the Universe, God incarnate, and the Judge of the World? We revisit the outrageously popular "The Chosen" TV series, finding snippets of the Book of Mormon, the book of humanist trite phrases, and odd twists on Scripture mixed into the dialogue. The Age of Greed Is Out of Control
Since 1970, gambling has increased from $2 billion to $120 billion a year. But that's nothing compared to the mad rush into world debt and derivatives (and other horrendously reckless forms of greed). All that debt and derivative risk has increased from $15 trillion to $2,500 trillion in the last forty to fifty years. What happens when there is no more restraint left in human society to greed, to sexual license, to killing babies, and the rest? How do Christians respond to this financial mayhem?
Whose Fault for America’s Fall?
Officers in the Christian Reformed Church are found running as Democrats for political office on pro-abortion positions, and end up advocating the killing of innocent children at the highest positions in the land. The first fault for the fall of America, the fall of the West, and the undoing of a civilization lies at the feet of the seminaries, the Christian college, and the Christian denominations. Either the church must discipline, or the worst case scenario occurs with the Christian Reformed Church and similar denominations. And that would be Revelation 2:20-23. How did such apostasy occur with these denominations?
Why Utility Prices Are Surging
There are three reasons why utility prices are on the increase. But chief of which is the worldview that underlies the economy-destroying impulse on the part of Democrats (and some Republicans). Man worships the creation rather than the Creator, and therefore he will increasingly fail to take proper dominion over the earth as he was commissioned to do. In the end, environmentalism will become destructive of man and the environment both.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Midterm Election - America Fails the Test
The midterm elections revealed the true heart of America . . . and it was a terrible day for the pro-life cause. The Supreme Court handed it off to the voters, and every referendum went pro-abortion. Meanwhile, the red wave was more of a red ooze. The Democrat creep is working in Pennsylvania. The progressives (leftists) had a heyday, while the principled right lost ground. But why are we losing ground in pro-life votes? Women voted Republican by a margin of 1% in 1988, but now they're going Democrat by a margin of 15% . . . and more women are voting. Death Culture and American Film
We trace the zeitgeist in American film—the market has moved from real people to fake people to dead people. The horror genre is replacing the escape genre which replaced drama, comedy, and adventure film of the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. Now, Satanic and horror films increasingly dominate box office takings. The rise of euthanasia in the medical world comes with it, as Canada leads the world in killing people. Demons of Jerry Lee and Faith of Johnny Cash
The Rock and Roll revolution started in America with Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis, with roots in Pentecostal churches. Here is another story of Americana, which ends with the unleashing of a sexual revolution, undoubted demonic influence, and what may or may not be repentance at the end. We cover Jerry Lee Lewis, and the recent biographies of Johnny Cash and his spiritual journey and questions posed at the end of his life. Here’s the takeaway: America has deep Christian roots. America is in apostasy. There is always room to repent all the way to the end for the thief on the cross.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Evolutionists in Crisis
The fossil record touted for human evolution is evaporating, year after year, decade after decade, post-Darwin. The media hype isn’t quite enough to keep the theory on life support. Neanderthal turned out to be fully human. Ardipithecus ramidus turned out to be an ape. Naledi turned out to be an ape-like creature more recently gone extinct—not the missing link everybody had hoped for. Turkana boy turned out to be fully human. Lucy was a knuckle walker after all. The evidence has gone up in smoke, and evolutionists are now in crisis. Subsequent research into fossil finds would always increase levels of skepticism concerning conclusions drawn. Significant disagreement prevailed among evolutionary paleontologists concerning the evidence itself. While consensus was illusive among the evolutionary scientific community, universities and government schools would still carry on a pretense of consensus and dogmatic assertions in the textbooks. Be a Three-thirds Christian!
Guest host Adam McManus examines a recent talk by David Barton, founder of WallBuilders, in which he explained that most Christians are only two-thirds Christians. They treasure only two of God’s three institutions–the family and the church. But, to their peril, they ignore the importance and influence of the civil government. Forty million Evangelical Christian are not even registered to vote. And, on Election Day, too few Christians show up to cast an informed ballot. We need to be fully three-thirds Christians! Our disobedience is an outgrowth of our disregard for daily Bible reading. In 2021, 26 million fewer Americans read their Bible, according to the American Bible Society report. Amazingly, President John Quincy Adams wrote a book urging 10-year-olds to read through the Bible in a year, cover-to-cover, because that’s what Americans did. You’ll hear how the Great Awakening was really the story of thousands of little revivals which were planted by George Whitefield, the British preacher, who spoke 18,000 times in 34 years. Remarkably, 80% of Americans had heard Whitfield preach in person. When revival broke out in Boston, for example, Pastor Sam Cooper kept it going another decade there. The same thing was true of the stewardship of Pastor Gilbert Tennent in Philadelphia and Pastor Samuel Davies in the woods of Virginia. Barton said, “Christians must do their duty to the country as part of their duty to God as because we're a stewardship nation. We don't have kings that tell us what to do. We tell them what to do! God put the government in our hands. Christians have a responsibility. God will bless or curse this nation according to the course that Christians take in politics. “Why is that true? Because we know in Proverbs 14:34 it says, ‘Righteousness exalts a nation and sin is a reproach to any people.’ We love to sing God bless America. But if we want God to bless America, we’ve got to give Him something to work with. It takes righteousness that He can bless. So, how do you get righteousness? Proverbs 29:2 says, ‘When the righteous rule, the people rejoice. When the wicked rule, the people groan.’ ” Listen for inspiring examples of what has happened in Virginia and Texas when pastors preach the importance of Christians voting, when Christians gets registered, and then cast Biblically-informed votes.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

The 2022 Elections Not Looking Good
A shocking report from George Barna finds that abortion is not even on the list of the top five concerns for evangelicals as we approach the 2022 elections. Gas prices come in at #1, inflation at #2, food prices at #3, crime and personal safety at #4, and protection from terrorism at #5. The selling of millions of baby lives for 30 cents on the gallon for gas prices doesn't settle well with us. Describing the US House of Cards
We struggle to describe the house of cards called the US economy on this edition of the program. The stock market has effectively already crashed. But, the volatility and general flakiness of the modern economy and society is beyond anything we've ever seen in modern history. Powerful governments were trying to fix economies by spending more and more money. They were trying to control the national economy by manipulating the interest rates. They had encouraged everybody into increasing levels of debt. They created inflation by issuing more money to pay for government debt. Rather than fixing economic problems then, they ended up ruining the worldwide economy.
The Day of the Dead
In this edition of Generations, Kevin Swanson and Steve Vaughan discuss the upcoming holiday, Halloween. The Day of the Dead was first celebrated in opposition to God's judgement on the earth through the worldwide flood, and it continues to celebrate death.
