This is it, at last. After months of hearing us go on about our Linkin Park podcast Rossko, Miles and special guest Joe Chessum finally, finally got together to get this podcast done and oh boy. It's an absolute monster. Clocking in at just around four hours (we're really sorry), the boys gather around to rank every single one of Linkin Park's studio albums. With some shocking takes that will rock any Linkin Park fan to its very foundations, this obscene, ridiculous, hilarious (and even emotional and heartfelt) podcast is by far our biggest ever undertaking and without question our most audacious effort to date. On this weeks bumper Finger Guns Podcast Rossko is joined by Kat, Miles, Sean, Josh, Yogdog *and* Tom for a mass dissection of the weeks gaming news and playing a whole bunch of brand new games. In the news this week our main topic is the ongoing FTC v Xbox hearing, where some wild revelations are coming out regarding Xbox's business practices and just how far they were willing to go in order to bring down PlayStation, and PlayStation's brutal retaliations. If you ever wanted a console war, never fear, it's all happening behind closed doors apparently. We get into the wild reveals to see just what we think of everything, and whether or not we're actually going to see some video games from Microsoft one day whilst they're busy buying more studios to make them. It's a bizarre week for Xbox and it's only going to get more insane as they try to finally get their acquisition of Acti/Blizz over the line. Elsewhere Google could be making a comeback to the gaming space, this time via YouTube. A plan they had early on was to link to games from YouTube to immediately play and well, it looks like they're finally making good on that promise. If they market this correctly (which, let's be honest, they definitely didn't do with Stadia), could this be the future of how we consume games? It's a long shot, but we're intrigued to see what happens. Also, the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2 line-up has supposedly leaked. Are our MGS megafans Miles and Josh happy with the line-up? What would they add? Apparently 'Metal Gear Survive' was not the right answer, who knew? Miles has been taking down Xenomorphs in Alien Dark Descent and Operation Polygon Storm ,Sean has been in the ring checking out AEW Fight Forever, Yogdog has been strateging it up in Strategic Command World War 1 on PC, Josh has been checking out the Open Beta of Ubisofr's xDefiant with a little help from Miles and even less help from Rossko, Kat and her beloved Crash Bandicoot are back together in the super fun Crash Team Rumble and Rossko, Tom and Sean talk about the wonders of that indie darling Final Fantasy XVI. This week on the Finger Guns Podcast in the wake of Summer Game Fest the podteam of Rossko, Kat, Miles, Josh and Yogdog all choose our most anticipated games for the rest of the year and boy, are there are metric ton of wonderful games incoming. There's even a Nintendo exclusive in there! Who would have thunk it? Elsewhere we say a fond farewell to the Xbox One after Microsoft have confirmed they are no longer making games for the system. We talk the infamous reveal show and where the system went right in the end and discuss why we all decided to go PlayStation last generation after all enjoying our Xbox 360's. This week on The Finger Guns Podcast it's a been a quiet week leading up to the PlayStation Showcase so Rossko, Josh and Sean get together to talk everything they could find including the news that Dead By Daylight will be receiving a single player expansion soon from Supermassive Games, the makers of Until Dawn and The Quarry. Rossko asks DBD superfan Josh if he's psyched for it, along with written in thoughts from Kat and Miles, who couldn't join the pod this week. We also talk a Lord of the Rings MMO coming from Amazon on the back of their first hit, New World. We try and decipher how they could make such a thing really rather good and hopefully we can look forward to whatever it's going to be. There's also been talk from Take Two Interactive this week that their upcoming fiscals are going to be very healthy indeed which leads to the assumption that Grand Theft Auto 6 may not be as far away as we think? We break down the numbers along with everything else they have incoming and see if GTA can find a space in a busy release schedule from the company. And of course, the aforementioned PlayStation Showacse is going to dominate the news this week so we put out heads together to see if we can figure out some of the more out there possibilities from the show and our most ridiculous theories. Could GTA 6 close the show? Will we see the fabled G-Police Remake or PlayStation All Stars Battle-Royale 2? We haven't got long to find out. Josh has been playing Undergrave (whilst tearing through Humanity), Sean and Rossko have been playing a fair bit of LEGO 2K Drive and despite the microtransactions poisoning the perfect LEGO world, it's a really good time. We're back! On our final podcast of the year we've managed to assemble our biggest cast so far with an almighty SEVEN Finger Gunners joining the pod and amassing an absolute cavalcade of madness. This week on The Finger Guns Podcast Rossko, Miles and Josh are back together once again to get through the weeks news and well, there isn't a whole lot of it so we talk about Call of Duty instead. Well, as we keep up with the Golden Joystick award winners announcements throughout the podcast (Elden Ring for best multiplayer? Eh?), the gang discuss the ridiculous success of Warzone 2.0 and what it could mean for the future of the Royale, our own opinions on the game itself after jumping in together this week and more talk about the ongoing Microsoft / Activision acquisition saga. They offered ten years to PlayStation for CoD, would they accept? Well, we have no idea. But we speculate either way what it could mean for both companies. Elsewhere it's been two years since the release of the Xbox Series duo and the PS5, so we give the systems a thorough going over about where they stand and what we've enjoyed and not enjoyed about them so far. With Xbox throwing their money around - with seemingly very little return just yet - and Sony banging out AAA after AAA, the two companies have gone down very different paths in the hope to grab your attention this time around. We discuss whether or not we see a future in either method and when we can expect Xbox to actually start living up to the cheques they're writing developers. Starfield has a hell of a lot on its shoulders. There's also of course Game of the Week where Miles talks the brilliant Evil West, Josh gets hyped for Ship of Fools and Rossko digs into his backlog to get a little further in Horizon Forbidden West and talks the brilliant Once Upon a Jester, which you can pick up on Steam right now. This week on a bumper Finger Guns Podcast Rossko, Miles, Josh and a very late Kat (seriously, at the gym trying to better herself instead of talking games? This week on The Finger Guns Podcast we're all getting rather excited about the weeks big releases, namely God of War Ragnarok and Sonic Frontiers. Has Rossko caved and already brought Sonic? At the time of recording, no, but hey, there's still one hour to go before midnight.Instead we decided to get together and talk the weeks news, and there isn't an awful lot to get into but we did indeed talk all about PlayStation VR 2, now that it's been dated and priced and we share our thoughts on whether or not we're going to jump into brave new virtual worlds on day one. It's a tad expensive one would argue, but in comparison to other VR headsets of this quality, is it justified? Sean being the man of reason helps us out with this one and we're eternally grateful.Elsewhere in a follow-up to last weeks main discussion, Hideo Kojima's horror game OVERDOSE may or may not have been leaked on the YouTubes by a shirtless man. There's a whole lot of conspiracy with this one and we're fairly excited to see what ol' Kojima-san has up his sleeve this time around. Also, the shirtless man is totally Geoff Keighley.We're also all in on Game of the Week. Rossko has lost himself to the PlayStation Starts rewards service for pointless collectibles, Miles has played a terrible castle simulator, Kat has once again played a cosy life sim on the Switch and Josh has spent the week playing one of Sean's favourites of the year, Kovox Pitch whilst Sean shares his impressions of The Chant with the group. There's also a brand new audio quiz from Kat - with all the drama you expect from a Kat quiz - Rossko gets very excited about Sonic Frontiers reviews, Miles shares his opinions on Terrifier 2 and Sean's cat makes a couple of cameos. This week on The Finger Guns Podcast Rossko, Miles, Kat and Josh talk the weeks news with Hideo Kojima starting the hype train for this new project by stating it's a 'whole new medium'...um, whatever that could possibly mean. We try and decipher what on earth he's up to and see if it's at all related to his rumoured horror game 'Overdose' or if he's taking Death Stranding 2 in a wild new direction. Elsewhere we talk yet again about the stigma of being called a 'gamer'. After a research study was revealed claiming that those who identify as 'gamers' are more likely to be racist and sexist, we try to break down what studies like this really mean and if we can at all stomach the phrase gamer at all and what it really means to the general populous. Are we all tarred with the same brush? And why is it exclusively video games that seems to be the punch bag for this? We discuss. Then with the news that Naughty Dog themselves are working with a brand new Sony studio to create a new entry in a 'beloved franchise', we have some fun trying to guess what on earth it could be. Will it be a new entry in a Naughty Dog franchise or has Sony thrown them something from their esteemed back catalogue we haven't seen for a while? Time will tell, but boy it's fun to speculate.
