Will Deyamport, III, Ed.D. is a District Instructional Technologist for Hattiesburg Public School District, serving grades K-12. He is also a digital transformation strategist, writer, and podcaster. Prior to taking on a full-time instructional technology role, Dr. Will was a social media strategist for a career development company. He is best known for his work in assisting educators in going digital and has helped teachers leverage the power of technology to reimagine the learning experiences of their students. In 2016, Dr. Will was one of three educators selected as a Mississippi Spotlight Speaker at the Mississippi Educator Computing Conference and served as a Schoology Ambassador from 2015 - 2018. Dr. Will speaks and presents often at conferences about the effective use of technology in the classroom. In addition to his speaking, Dr. Will has written for Schoology Exchange, District Administration, EdSurge, iNACOL, and TechEdge magazine. Mandy Froelich spends much of her time consulting with school districts and post-secondary institutions in the effective use of technology to support great teaching, mental health support for educators, and how to create organizational change in education. Her first book, The Fire Within: Lessons from defeat that have ignited a passion for learning, discusses mental health awareness for teachers. Paul Richmond is the teacher and coach you wish you had in high school.He attended the University of Charleston on a golf scholarship and earned a business degree in 1994.Upon graduation and a brief finance career, Paul decided to go back to school and become a high school teacher. He earned his Master’s in Education (along with his teaching certificate) from Elmira College and began his career.Paul taught public HS social studies for 18 years. For the past 8 years, he has led a public high school program called New Visions Innovation, Leadership, and Business. High school juniors from surrounding school districts apply, interview and are selected. Students learn entrepreneurship, receive 15 college credits, and spend between 20-40 days in their community, learning and working with business leaders, developers, and the local chamber of commerce. They graduate with experience and a network superior to that of the average student.Paul has also spent his entire career coaching a combination of high school golf, volleyball, basketball, and softball, depending on the year.In addition to teaching, Paul currently is securities licensed and has a financial business, is part owner in a food truck, has authored the book “Energize the High School Classroom” and contributed to the financial literacy book “Building Financial Competency”. I was fortunate because my cooperating teacher was inspirational and I realized I loved teaching. I became a certified Reading Specialist after completing my Master's degree in education at the University at Buffalo, and prior to that my Bachelor of Arts in English from Alfred University. Dr. Naomi Lawrence-Reid, M.D. is a Pediatrician and founder of Doctoring Differently, a course and coaching platform designed to teach Physicians of all specialties how to transition out of full-time clinical and academic practice while embarking on lucrative and flexible Physician careers that best utilize their medical training and experience. Dr. Lawrence-Reid initially intended to pursue a career in pediatric emergency medicine, but quickly realized that she was unwilling to yield to the confines of restrictive hospital contracts, non-negotiable salaries, exhaustive administrative duties, and oppressive call schedules.
