Detroit Lions Preseason Wrap-up In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Jeff react to the Detroit Lions preseason game against the Carolina Panthers. Detroit Lions fans have been whipsawed a bit this preseason with a fun win against the New York Giants, a tougher week of practice and game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and lastly the most recent win over the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte. With the Panthers starting their first team players against the Detroit Lions second team, we saw one of the best tests of the Detroit Lions depth of the preseason. The strength of the Detroit Lions depth showed itself by holding the Panthers to a field goal and a touchdown before they left the game. Detroit Lions Joint Practice A Success In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Jeff react to the first few weeks of Detroit Lions Training Camp including their joint practices against the New York Giants. It was nice for Lions players to get a break from the daily camp battles against their teammates and take out some of their frustrations on an opposing team. The Detroit Lions starters were able to have their way with the New York Giants, and it wasn't even close. Day 1 of joint practices was a great day for both the Lions offense and defense, with day two showing the strength of the Detroit Lions backup offensive line and more great plays and grabs by the Lions skill position players. CJGJ led the way on Tuesday with an incredible display of shaking players up through the power of the spoken (or shouted) work.
