Courtney achieved her dreams of being an actress after working as a teacher and now stars in Tyler Perry’s comedy series, Assisted Living. The series premiers for a second season on May 25, on BET. Courtney portrays the role of Leah who is the supportive wife of Jeremy (Na’im Lynn), the patriarch of a young family who decides to move to the backwoods of Georgia to help his crazy grandfather after he foolishly purchased a run-down home for the elderly. Outside of acting Courtney has always had a deep love for kids and education, which lead her to earn her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in English language arts. For eleven seasons, Marion Ross was head of one of America's favorite television households. Before she was affectionately known to millions as “Mrs. C.,” Marion Ross worked for two decades as a Paramount starlet, appearing in nearly every major TV series of the 1950s and 1960s-including Love, American Style, in which she donned an apron that would cinch her career. Soon after came the fateful phone call from producer Garry Marshall that made her an “overnight” success, and changed her life. Marion hails from Albert Lea, Minnesota, and after college at San Diego State University, she proudly began her career under contract to Paramount Studios in the 50's with live TV at CBS in LIFE WITH FATHER. She's proudest of performing with Noel Coward in BLITHE SPIRIT, live at CBS with Sir Noel, Claudette Colbert and Lauren Bacall. In 2001, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and in 2008, was the renaming and dedication of The Marion Ross Performing Arts Center in her home town of Albert Lea. Marion is an Associate Artist at the Globe Theatre, in San Diego, and last appeared there in the summer of 2010 in THE LAST ROMANCE with her darling, the late Paul Michael. She's working on her autobiography which will be out May 2018. It’s the quality of sharing the humor in everyday situations that has made Bill Engvall one of the top comedians today – and one of the busiest. Although he currently resides in Park City, Utah with his wife, Engvall is a native of Galveston, Texas. Early on, he moved to Dallas and was working as a disc jockey with plans of becoming a teacher. While in a nightclub one evening, Bill decided to try his hand at stand-up comedy and quickly found that making people laugh was truly his forte. Soon after, he decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue television opportunities. Alongside Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy and Ron White, Bill Engvall was part of the enormously successful Blue Collar Comedy Tour concert films, which have sold more than 9 million units and are some of the most watched movies and specials in Comedy Central history. The soundtrack for Blue Collar Comedy Tour, One For The Road, (Warner Bros./Jack Records) was also nominated for a Grammy Award. Following the Blue Collar Comedy Tour movies, Engvall was reunited with Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy on the Them Idiots Whirled Tour, which was filmed as a special for CMT and aired 2012. Bill also has several solo specials on Comedy Central including Aged and Confused (2009) and Live (2004), which was certified multiplatinum, 15° Off Cool (2007) and Here’s Your Sign (1996). Bill’s first album, Here’s Your Sign (1996), has been certified platinum and held the #1 position on the Billboard Comedy Chart for 15 straight weeks, went on to peak at #5 on Billboard’s Current Country Album Chart and reached the Top 50 on Billboard’s Top 200 Album Chart. The single of the same name was ranked #1 on Billboard’s Country Singles Sales Chart for ten weeks, reached the Top 30 on the Billboard’s Singles Sales Chart, and achieved Gold status, which is not a common occurrence in the comedy market. In 1997, Engvall won the “Best Selling Comedy album” award at the annual NARM convention, outselling albums by Chris Rock and Adam Sandler. Bill’s second album, Dorkfish (1998), was certified gold (500,000 copies), and had the honor of being ranked #1 on Billboard’s Comedy Chart, even surpassing Jerry Seinfeld’s album. Garfield Wilson was born in Surrey, England and immigrated to Canada when he was 6 years old with his Jamaican family. The middle child between his brother and sister, Garfield has enjoyed a creative life full of acting and music in his home town of Edmonton, Alberta. After two years performing as lead singer to a funk/soul cover band, Garfield's first break was playing Judas in "Jesus Christ Superstar". He then ventured to Vancouver, BC to pursue music and acting even further.
