We caught up with him while he was in Mexico for the holidays spending time with his family and grandkids and enjoying life! Enjoy this fun episode. Who is John Davidson? Well....it has been quite a journey as this wholesome all-American boy has grown into a crazy old liberal! It was John’s performances in the major showrooms of Las Vegas that established him as one of America’s foremost entertainers. But you’ve got to see him live! While he still is. American audiences probably know him best as the TV host of The Hollywood Squares, and That’s Incredible! , as well as the guest host of The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (80 evenings, more than any other singer). Remember when he co-starred with Sally field in the TV series The Girl With Something Extra? (And had a crush on her, by the way. Now, she never calls.) Can you believe it? Over 50 years ago, John graduated with a B.A. from the theater arts department at Denison University and arrived on Broadway where he debuted in Foxy, starring Burt Lahr. later he would star in State Fair and win a Theater Guild Award for playing Curly in the Broadway revival of Oklahoma! He went on to tour the US in multiple Broadway musicals. (He really can’t remember how many. Really.) TV producer Bob Banner molded John's career by casting him in (his TV debut) in The Fantasticks. He then hosted his own daytime talk show, too many beauty pageants, the Tom Jones summer replacement series, as well as The Kraft Summer Music Hall with regulars George Carlin, Flip Wilson, and Richard Pryor. Banner was also responsible for 13 Columbia Records albums. So, why not a hit record? Hello? He’s also a movie star! Your kids might know him now from videos of his Disney films: The Happiest Millionaire and The One And Only Genuine Original Family Band! He was also in Airport 80, Edward Scissorhands, and The Squeeze, but nobody cares. Along the way, John and his wife, Rhonda created the geography card game BORDERLINE USA and he wrote a book and a play, John played The Wizard in the Broadway musical Wicked, and most recently, John has been entertaining America as a traveling troubadour/singer/songwriter/storyteller with his original songs, his jokes, his guitar, and his backup singers, THE INFLATABLES! So, is he a comedian, an author, an actor, a musician, a TV host, a singer, an entertainer, or just an old friend that you just can’t seem to get rid of? And here is more about us! Have a question? Author, columnist, and comedian Steve Hofstetter is often called the hardest working man in show-business. With all due respect to the late James Brown. Hofstetter has also appeared on CBS' "Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson", Showtime's "White Boyz in the Hood", VH1's "Countdown", Sundance's "On the Road in America", and ABC's "Barbara Walter's Special", where he thankfully did not cry. At 18, he co-founded "Sports Jerk of the Week", an irreverent website featured by press like USA Today's Baseball Weekly, Sports Illustrated and CNN. And at 20, Hofstetter took a year off of school to head up web content for the New York Yankees. The Yankees won the World Series that year, which would have been wonderful if they hadn't beaten Hofstetter's Mets. Yes, he's also a Mets fan. Poor kid. And here is more about us! Have a question? Ep 97Brad Sherwood "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" | The Art of Improv and Martial Arts

Our guest today is the fantastic Brad Sherwood. Most know him from the hit show, Whose Line is it Anyway! In the conversation we cover a lot from the art of improv, working on bits, being in the moment, lessons learned from an early life and much more. As a young hatchling, Brad Sherwood (Cranius gigantum), fled the ice plains of Chicago for the arid expanse of the Rocky Mountains, where he settled at the epicenter of art and coyote sculptures, Santa Fe New Mexico. Weaned on green chiles and isolation, he became a savant of self-amusement. Years later, he hopped a hobo train to the Pacific Ocean where he searched for people willing to employ someone with an abnormally large skull. Eventually, he was plucked from the Venice Beach Freak Show by a band of improvising gypsies who passed him from troupe to troupe, until he was sold into servitude to some British Choreographer/Pirates. They, in turn, sold him to a British improv TV show, where he was hired to teach Canadians how to be funny. Now, he is ward and caretaker of his least successful pupil, Colin Mochrie. Brad is given a stipend from the Canadian government to keep Colin from hurting himself or livestock. As part of Colin’s therapy, Brad tours with him in an improvised stage performance that helps creatively channel Mochrie’s delusions. And here is more about us! Have a question? Email us below! Ep 74WWE Legend "Nature Boy" Ric Flair | "Its Been 48 Years and I Have No Plans to Stop"

Our guest today is the one and only, "Nature Boy" Ric Flair. His career has lasted over four decades and he has no plan to stop. Not mention, his daughter has continued the legacy, and has made a name for herself, all on her own. In the episode, we talk about his newest venture, Celebrity Slots, classic highlights from his career, how wrestling has changed since he began, and much more. The unmistakable strut. The overdramatic flop. The flagrant low blow. The… "Woooooooo!" Such an animated performer like Ric Flair can't be encapsulated in words. He's a man of vibrant actions and endless sound bites. If Dean Malenko is "The Man of 1,000 Holds," then Flair is absolutely "The Man of 1,000 Faces" – each one more flushed red with intensity than the last. There was a time when Flair didn't blaze through arenas like a fireball of charisma, but that was before he found his calling as "The Nature Boy." Prior to stealing kisses, flying on jets and riding in limousines, the 16-time World Heavyweight Champion was an adopted, brown-haired kid in Minnesota with a chip on his shoulder. Flair showcased his athletic ability early in life, competing in wrestling, football and track at a boarding school in Wisconsin. After winning the state private school wrestling championship in 1966 and 1968, he was recruited to the University of Minnesota on a football scholarship. But it wasn't until he dropped out that he got his first big opportunity as a sports entertainer. Working as a bouncer at a nightclub, Flair met Olympic weightlifter Ken Patera, who introduced the young "Slick Ric" to legendary performer and tough-as-nails trainer Verne Gagne. The 10-time AWA World Heavyweight Champ had quite a class for his wrestling camp in 1971, which also included Patera, The Iron Sheik and Jim Brunzell. From there, it was simply a matter of time before Flair would start to turn heads with his colorful personality and in-ring prowess. And....the rest is history. Have a question? Email us below! Ep 70Comedian Tommy Davidson| From Open Mic Night at the Strip Club to Comedy Icon

Brett's guest today is the wonderful actor and comedian Tommy Davidson. Tommy has been a comedic staple for over thirty years and has no plans to stop. From his first gig at a strip club, getting discovered by Keenen Ivory Wayans,, and working with some of the biggest comedy names in the game, Tommy has carved out a place for himself an orchestrated plan, that he literally wrote out, when he first began. We cover all this and more, in this exclusive interview. Davidson started his career as a stand-up comedian in Washington DC, earning an ardent following with sheer hard work in various comedy clubs. As one of the cutting-edge, young stand-ups, he was spotted by major concert promoters, who booked him as the opening act for A-list touring acts, including Patti LaBelle, Kenny G and Luther Vandross. It wasn't long before he came to Hollywood and was performing stand-up at a number of clubs, including the Comedy Act Theatre, where he met Robert Townsend. This led to his first national television appearance, with a starring role in Partners in Crime (2005) and was the conduit to Keenen Ivory Wayans, who proved instrumental in Davidson's career by offering him an opportunity to audition and join the uniquely talented cast of the most adventurous prime-time variety show of its day, In Living Color (1990). He, Jamie Foxx, Jim Carrey and Damon Wayans made TV history with their originality. Our sponsor this month is HostGator.
