Ep 787787: Cupcake Kisses, Voices that Care, & Pez Outlaw
Sarah shares some of the things she watched during her recovery and what kinds of things she found soothing (and relatable). We discuss American Nightmare, a documentary that describes the abduction of a woman that the media and law enforcement concluded was a hoax that was actually not, and how these mistakes can happen due to problems in the system and human psychology. We hear why the group Insane Clown Posse was investigated by the FBI and why their art is not a reflection of the artists or their fans. Sarah has some tips for Susie's one hit wonder inspired by We Are the World, and we learn about another celebrity song she saw produced in real life and why she thinks it's better (it's not). Susie shares a story about a news organization that ran an experiment to show the pressure their female anchors face to look and dress a certain way. We hear about a man who outsmarted a CEO all by smuggling and selling Pez dispensers. We find out why insider trading isn't Martha Stewart's only moral failing and we unmask the Masked Magician.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get extended 30 day free trial when you go to https://www.dipseastories.com/braincandyHead to https://www.smalls.com/braincandy and use promo code BRAINCANDY at checkout for 50% off your first order PLUS free shipping! Ep 786786: Biscuits & Gravy, Candyland, & Moth to Flame
Sarah makes her triumphant return to today's show, and we are so glad she's on the mend. We hear some of the details form her surgery and recovery and what she learned through it all. She describes how she feels like she's a wise old woman now and suddenly has a new food obsession. We learn what her happy place looks like and how it was inspired by her childhood. We discuss the ways that people find comfort during difficult life events and how sometimes it can just be in the form of a yummy dessert. Susie discusses the documentary David Holmes: The Boy Who Lived about the stunt performer and body double from Harry Potter who was injured on set, and how he is so inspiring. Plus, we hear why it turns out that moths aren't actually attracted to flames, and our minds are blown that we've been living a lie.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Grab your Liquid I.V. Ep 785785: Diaper Spa, Ruby Slippers, & Chowchilla
We have a guest co-host today and it's one of Susie's infamous "lezes"! Kelly fills in for Sarah as she heals from her surgery. We discuss the documentary Chowchilla, which is about 26 children who were abducted from a school bus and how their experience changed the way we see childhood trauma and raises questions about justice. We debate whether a man who opened a plane's emergency door and walked on the wing is a lunatic, criminal, or hero. We hear about a new spa made especially for the diaper-wearing community, discuss whether this group would fall into the "kink" category, and discuss the type of person who would do this. Susie talks about the Greatest Night in Pop, which chronicles the making of We Are the World, and how she thinks one legendary singer got ripped off because she wasn't assigned a solo. We hear who stole a pair of original ruby slippers, Susie claims old people should do hard drugs, and we learn how Kelly got a piece of the Titanic (not the doomed boat, but the film set). But the real quote of the episode involves an intimate moment Kelly had with Rosie O'Donnell.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/modern-houses-puberty-womens-sportsJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Go to https://paireyewear.com and use code BRAINCANDY for 15% off your first pair. Ep 784784: Hockey Heroines, Sarah's Closet, & Stanley Tumblers
Sarah shares the science on puberty and the reasons people are experiencing it earlier. We hear how Billie Jean King intervened in women's hockey and helped it succeed. Sarah discusses the popularity of Stanley tumblers and how they became the "must have" items for women, but Susie reveals how despite women being the engine behind their success, a man is getting all the credit. Sarah admits to how many sweatshirts she owns and why her overalls obsession is becoming a problem. Plus we hear advice from the Fonz about what should guide our decisions.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/modern-houses-puberty-womens-sportsJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Try AG1 and get a FREE 1-year supply of Vitamin D3+K2 AND 5 free AG1 Travel Packs with your first purchase exclusively at https://drinkag1.com/braincandyGet 20% OFF @honeylove by going to https://www.honeylove.com/braincandy! #honeylovepodGo to https://www.greenchef.com/60braincandy and use code 60braincandy to get 60% off, plus 20% off your next two months!Control Body Odor ANYWHERE with @lumedeodorant and get $5 off off your Starter Pack (that’s over 40% off) with promo code BRAINCNADY5 at https://lumedeodorant.com! #lumepodSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 783783: Participation Trophies, Naming Apartments, & Gendered Hobbies
It's Sarah's birthday month and she wants you to know about it, but not think of her as one of those 'birthday month" kind of gals. We discuss the Subject documentary, which chronicles the consequences and benefits of appearing in a documentary, and we debate whether documentary subjects should be paid or not. We learn why ESPN was caught up in a Emmy scandal, and how it confirms that the same people who worry about participation trophies might want to receive one. We learn how apartment buildings are named, what is considered when choosing a name, and why it probably doesn't really matter in the end. And we hear why cannabis also goes through a whole process for naming each strain. We talk about Highlights magazine, and what it takes to create each issue, how girls are the main demographic, and why they are underestimated in their effect. Susie shares why hobbies are gendered and how homes are constructed to accommodate men's hobbies.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/why-human-remains-have-never-been-found-on-the-titanicJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Go to https://nutrafol.com and enter the promo code BRAINCANDY to save $15 off your first month’s subscription! This episode is sponsored by BetterHelp. Ep 782782: Method Acting, Calm Down, & Garbage Stars
Sarah is keeping her 2024 resolution of stretching, but she doesn't want you to get any ideas, she is not going to be doing "the splits" or even a split for that matter. That would be too much of a good thing. We are wound up about method actors and the fact that it is a quirk reserved for white, male actors. If you ever wondered why there are no skeletons in the Titanic, Sarah's got the answer. We discuss the history of marathons and Susie just wants everyone to stop with all this running nonsense. There's a woman who never ran a marathon before, but did her first one to qualify for the Olympics, and she actually succeeded. Sarah loves this story and Susie hates it. According to her everyone just needs to calm down. New Zealand is giving "gold star" stickers to people who recycle properly, and despite the stars being worthless the reward is actually inspiring people to recycle because human brains are so very dumb.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/why-human-remains-have-never-been-found-on-the-titanicJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get an exclusive 20% off your first order at https://thrivecausemetics.com/braincandyHead to https://forwellness.com/braincandy and use code BRAINCANDY for 25% off!Get 25% off your entire order at https://www.mykitsch.com/braincandySee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 781781: Cryptic Code, Newton's Scandal, & Love Darts
Sarah is still a heckler magnet, and she had to endure another one again. We debate the virtues of crowd work comedians vs. traditional sets. Susie talks about a documentary that features a child predator who admits their crimes. We discuss why these people often don't admit the harm they do to others. A silk dress from the 1800s had a secret code in its pocket and, after many years of lots of people attempting to decode it, someone finally figured out the message and it was...shocking. Newton's third law of motion (the old action-reaction dealy) was defied by a substance on Earth, and we cannot believe what it is. We discuss the consequences of people exploring their genealogical roots and finding out they might not be who they thought they were and how sperm donors existed before sperm banks. We learn how much funding goes to protecting endangered species, why a couple of animals get most of the money, and which species got $100. Plus, we learn about "Benford's Law" and the mystery of why certain numbers appear more frequently in data sets than others.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/public-domain-mystery-solved-benfords-lawJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get an extended 30 day free trial when you go to https://www.dipseastories.com/braincandyGet 15% off @OakEssentials with the code BRAINCANDY at https://oakessentials.com/braincandy. #oakessentialspartnerHead to https://nakedwines.com/braincandy and click ‘Enter Voucher’ in the top right when you get to the website, and enter BRAINCANDY for both the code AND password to get 6 bottles of wine for JUST $39.99 with shipping included!Get 20% OFF @honeylove by going to https://www.honeylove.com/braincandy! #honeylovepodGo to https://www.hellofresh.com/braincandyfree and use code braincandyfree for FREE breakfast for life! Ep 780780: Swim-spiration, Tetris Champ, & Steamboat Willy
Sarah is all worked up over a movie she watched that made her want to take on the world and beat her boyfriend in a swimming competition. But it made us wonder what makes one person's persistence in sports inspiring and another person's doggedness seem like an addiction. We are starting to think Chat-GPT might actually be too woke after it tried to avoid explaining a fact about women that was less than flattering. We're celebrating the kid who reached his goal of winning Tetris, and hear how he did it. We discuss the expiration of trademarks and what happens to art that becomes public domain, and we debate whether it's good for art, bad for business, or a mixed bag. There's a new film coming out that Sarah thinks is going to scare the bejeezus out of her, but might not be intended as a horror movie.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/public-domain-mystery-solved-benfords-lawJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get $30 off the first box - PLUS free Croissants in every box - when you go to https://wildgrain.com/braincandy to start your subscription!Try AG1 and get a FREE 1-year supply of Vitamin D3+K2 AND 5 free AG1 Travel Packs with your first purchase exclusively at https://drinkag1.com/braincandyVisit https://www.carawayhome.com/braincandy to take advantage of this limited-time offer for up to 20% off your next purchase!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 779779: Wonderful Things, Hell Camp, & Party Animals
We find out how Sarah's "stretching" theme is going so far, and Susie annouces her 2024 theme at long last, and it's a goodie! We learn how Sarah provided the opportunity for Susie to test the theme for the first time. We discuss the "reform" camps people were sending their delinquent children to in the 80s and 90s, and debate whether the people who ran them had good intentions or not. We learn how some people don't have a "mind's ear" and how scientists are able to test for it. We discuss why some people claim to dream in black-and-white, and what might be causing it. Yoga instructors are getting special training and it involves dead bodies, and Susie is worked up about it. Hear the history of Subaru's association with lesbians and why it was no accident. We learn whether animals like doing drugs as much as people, and what drugs provide despite the ways they are bad for your survival.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/would-you-want-to-know-when-youre-going-to-dieJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Right now get 55% off your Babbel subscription - but only for our listeners - at https://babbel.com/braincandyGo to https://www.hellofresh.com/braincandyfree and use code braincandyfree for FREE breakfast for life!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 778778: Pleasure, Wildflowers, & No Boys Allowed
Sarah explains the difference between pleasure and enjoyment and why she's hoping for way more of the latter this year. Sarah has inexplicably started using baby language and Susie thinks she needs a pet--cat lady coming through. We discuss the benefits and downfalls of "gendered" spaces and whether there is a need for a male and female exclusive activities including for universities and organizations or if it should be a free-for-all. Hear why wildflowers are getting freaky with themselves and aren't relying on pollination from our insect friends. We're happy to report Sarah has stopped stealing flowers and now she's expanded her "leave no trace" philosophy to her beloved past time of seashell collecting (hoarding).Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/would-you-want-to-know-when-youre-going-to-dieJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Head to https://moshlife.com/braincandy to save 20% off plus FREE shipping on your first 6-count Trial Pack!Grab your Liquid I.V. Ep 777777: One Hit Wonder, NASA's Worm, & The Dingo Took My Baby
Susie is still deciding on her 2024 theme, but she does have some goals picked, and they are hilarious. Let's just say she is doing some serious research about one hit wonders, and has some big musical plans. We discuss the cultural phenomenon of the "dingo took my baby," where it came from, and what it really meant. Turns out that global joke came from a tragic story that kept getting worse the more we learned. We hear about a decades old murder that shows how racism and one man's lie had huge consequences throughout Boston and almost prevented justice. We discuss the history of NASA's logo, and why their real logo isn't the one you see on merch. We talk about how hearing aids need a redesign and Susie has some awkward questions about Jimmy Carter and people who are nearing the end of life. Sarah's tech bro pal who wants to be forever young is on the dating scene and if you see him on Tinder, run for your life. A Senate staffer got caught doing the nasty in a the judiciary committed hearing room and we cannot believe what some people put on their Instagram close friends after watching the footage.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/a-nursing-home-rock-star-the-power-of-body-heat-moreJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:This episode is sponsored by BetterHelp. Ep 776776: Sexy Gorilla, Vibe Pope, & Family Beanstalks
Zoos are at it again, and this time it's a "sexy" gorilla causing a stir. Allegedly, this gorilla is so darn handsome that zoo admissions have skyrocketed, but we aren't so sure it's just ladies that are flocking to see him. We learn the definition of a "vibe pope" and Sarah explains why she thinks Susie is one. If it's anything like a real pope, that's going to be a lot pressure, so we'll see how this goes. Susie wants you all to get out of your pajamas and get out there and socialize even if it's just for the lolz. Sarah describes a new night club that uses the body heat of the patrons to fuel the building's electricity and we are intrigued. Sarah describes why families don't have "trees" as much any more because people are having fewer children. She shares how this structure is more narrow and lengthy--like a beanstalk--and is changing the dynamic of families and how we engage with cousins and other relatives.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/a-nursing-home-rock-star-the-power-of-body-heat-moreJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get an exclusive 20% off your first order at https://thrivecausemetics.com/braincandyHead to https://forwellness.com/braincandy and use code BRAINCANDY for 25% off!Head to https://embracepetinsurance.com/braincandy and sign up for pet insurance today!Get 40% off your first month for a limited time at https://ritual.com/braincandySee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 775775: Stretching, Years Young, & Wheel Win
Happy New Year, Brainiacs! We're excited for 2024, and we're demanding the universe not pull any punches. We discuss our goals for the year and why Susie is still unsure about her theme. Hear why your chronological age doesn't match the age you feel in your head, and why we always long for what we don't have. Sarah wants you to know she could beat you at Hangman, and Susie shares some tips on how to win Wheel of Fortune should you ever need them. We discuss disappearing ink used for "semi-permanent tattoos", and why some people are mad that their tattoos aren't fading. Sarah reveals whether she likes people who don't want to keep their ink forever. Ep 774774: Stern Talking To, Scary Animals, & Salty Spoons
Sarah is not having a Feliz Navidad in Mejico, but we're here to bring some joy back into her holiday. She had a run in with a teenager at a show, and she gave that hooligan a very "stern talking to." She even used her scolding pointer finger, so that poor kid didn't stand a chance. Quick question, how many of any animal do you need to make a scary amount (it's three). Birds are getting drunk, and we're psyched for them, but apparently "experts" think we should stop the madness. During our recording Sarah's hair doubled in size from the humidity, just think you all should know that. Sarah says a restaurant is scamming unsuspecting women through AI, so all you daters, beware. Sarah watched the scandalous Below Deck season and has rave reviews about the way they handled a cast member who was getting aggressive and inappropriate.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/hotness-problem-restaurant-scam-drunk-birdsJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Try AG1 and get a FREE 1-year supply of Vitamin D3K2 AND 5 free AG1 Travel Packs with your first purchase at https://drinkag1.com/braincandyCancel your unwanted subscriptions by going to https://rocketmoney.com/braincandyFind your forever pieces @jennikayne and get 15% off with promo code BRAINCANDY at https://www.jennikayne.com/braincandy! #jennikaynepartnerSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 773773: Controlled Aggression, Country of the Blind, & Bad Doctor
We're getting life lessons from Paul Meister from beyond the grave about how to be aggressive without disaster. Sarah is having a rough start to her Mexico vacation, but we remain optimistic. Susie talks about a documentary called Bad Doctor about a surgeon who claimed to create a miracle prosthetic windpipe that he transplanted into patients, but it turned out to be a complete lie and ended up killing people. We discuss a memoir called Country of the Blind about a man who is becoming blind, and what he learned about vision, disabilities, and the way we all understand the world. Sarah talks about disabled people who ski including a special ski made for people who are paralyzed. Susie describes a Alabama mayor named Bubba who was outed for living a double life, and we debate whether the private lives of public figures should ever be exposed by journalists. Plus we hear why AI has a "hotness problem."Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/hotness-problem-restaurant-scam-drunk-birdsJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Go to https://paireyewear.com/braincandy for 15% off your first pair! This episode is sponsored by BetterHelp. Ep 772772: Teen Slang, Women on Everest, & Chipotle Justice
We know Susie thinks wisdom teeth removal is a scam, but are nightguards too? Not according to Sarah--they just need a trim. We discuss the news that using cannabis for pain management is no better than a placebo. We talk about a new method for scientific testing that is saving a lot of rabbit lives, but is still angering animal rights activists. We consider whether animals know their "names" when they are our pets or whether the abstract idea of a personal name is a human-only concept. Sarah may have done the impossible and found a group of people climbing Mt. Everest that we're ok with! A group of women is making the trek and, believe it or not, we're on board. Apparently Interstellar did more than tell the greatest cinematic story ever told, it actually is turning a profit through corn production too, but Susie can't confirm this information. And we hear about a woman who threw her food at a fast food worker, and why the judge sentencing her took a clever route in her punishment.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/interstellars-corn-slang-in-2023-breaking-stereotypesJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Go to https://www.reliefband.com and use promo code CANDY you’ll receive 20% off plus free shipping!Get 20% OFF @honeylove by going to https://honeylove.com/braincandy! #honeylovepodRitual is offering my listeners 30% off during your first month at https://ritual.com/braincandyHead to https://cadenlane.com/braincandy and use code BRAINCANDY for 20% off your order!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 771771: Vegemite, Japanese Baby Names, & Mother God
Susie's annoyed about all the vacations Sarah takes, and Sarah is sorry not sorry. (Susie is just jealous.) We don't really understand Susie's new/old obsession with Australia, but now we're having to try vegemite for funsies, and it is truly a wild experience. We learn why Susie thinks she's developing psychic abilities. We discuss the Love Has Won documentary about the cult of the same name that is run by a former McDonald's manager turned spiritual guru who goes by the name Mother God and who has a real taste for the booze. And we learn which dead celebrities she channels (Sarah guesses one right!). We hear about the Luna Park amusement park fire that killed several children, and how an artist and a filmmaker found out what really happened decades later. Plus, we interview Alyssa Ages, author of Secrets of Giants: A Journey to Uncover the True Healing of Strength about the bodybuilding and Strongman competitions, healing from a miscarriage, and why strength training is not just a men's game.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/interstellars-corn-slang-in-2023-breaking-stereotypesJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get an extended 30 day free trial when you go to https://www.dipseastories.com/braincandyGet an exclusive 20% off your first order at https://thrivecausemetics.com/braincandyHead to https://www.smalls.com/braincandy and use promo code BRAINCANDY at checkout for 50% off your first order PLUS free shipping!Control Body Odor ANYWHERE with @lumedeodorant and get $5 off off your Starter Pack (that’s over 40% off) with promo code BRAINCANDY5 at https://lumedeodorant.com! #lumepodTry AG1 and get a FREE 1-year supply of Vitamin D3K2 AND 5 free AG1 Travel Packs with your first purchase at https://drinkag1.com/braincandySee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 770770: Three Joke Johnny, River People, & Claymation Catastrophe
Sarah wants you to know your joke is funny and why, and we're here for it. We discuss the controversial comedy of Matt Rife, his decision to do domestic violence jokes, and his appearance on The Challenge. Just when we thought we couldn't love/hate Crocs any more, they go and do country/western styles, and completely redeem themselves (for light to moderate ranching only). Sarah is inexplicably mad at a particular shoe company and it's hilarious. Apparently it really grinds her gears when people have, and I quote, dusty feet. We also hear why she is never, we repeat, never, trying to look elegant. A restaurant is charging $50 for bad parenting, and we discuss whether we like this policy. We also hear about a restaurant whose staff is made up of people living with dementia, and why it sounds like a solution to several societal problems. There is a clay shortage, and now we're worried that there will not be a Chicken Run sequel and Shaun the Sheep might be hibernating until they invent a replacement.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/cookie-monsters-cookie-recipe-a-cafe-of-mistaken-orders-moreJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Try AG1 and get a FREE 1-year supply of Vitamin D3K2 AND 5 free AG1 Travel Packs with your first purchase. Ep 769769: Funeral Confessions, Cookie Monster, & Progressive Flo
We're already preparing for 2024 (probably because 2023 was such a dud). Susie recommends the new Mike Birbiglia comedy special, The Old Man and the Pool, and discusses his sleep disorder that caused him to jump out of a La Quinta window while he was sleeping. Sarah is still recovering from her Spirit Airlines experience, and wants you all to know the little she saved was not worth it. Susie found out the recipe for Cookie Monster's cookies and what the traits are that make for the most hilarious Cookie Monster binge. We learn about a service you can get where someone shows up at your funeral and tells your loved ones things you were too shy/scared/hesitant to tell them while you were alive. AND you can also hire them to collect your embarrassing, illegal, etc items so your loved ones don't have to handle your naughty possessions. We just had the 60th anniversary of the assassination of JFK and how even after all these years it is still visceral for the witnesses. We also discuss the woman who is Flo from Progressive Insurance, and how she had to trade her creative dreams and goal of getting on SNL for her job with Progressive, but she likely makes $10M per year. Plus! We interview our new BFF, comedy icon, and amazing human being, Beth Stelling, about her comedy career, her experiences performing, and her vendetta against Johnny Banana.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/cookie-monsters-cookie-recipe-a-cafe-of-mistaken-orders-moreJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Go to https://www.greenchef.com/60braincandy and use code 60braincandy to get 60% off, plus 20% off your next two months!Get $30 off the first box - PLUS free Croissants in every box - when you go to https://wildgrain.com/braincandy to start your subscription!Get started at https://www.chime.com/braincandyControl Body Odor ANYWHERE with @lumedeodorant and get $5 off off your Starter Pack (that’s over 40% off) with promo code BRAINCANDY5 at https://lumedeodorant.com! #lumepodFind your forever pieces @jennikayne and get 15% off with promo code BRAINCANDY at https://www.jennikayne.com/braincandy! #jennikaynepartnerSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 768768: Nightclub Funeral, Polyester Infertility, & Worker Bears
We discuss how we're scared after each episode to find out what we screwed up or if we offended someone. So, be gentle, people. We're sensie-wensie. We'll work on it. Anyhoo, some weirdo died and made his family have his funeral at a nightclub, and let's just say, the video footage of his grieving family semi-seductively (??) dancing around his coffin was a whole mood. Apparently enough people are kissing turtles that a warning had to be issued, so people are not ok. We have a stream of consciousness scenario where we talk about when Sarah thought she stepped in dog poo, but it turned out she just had bad breath, whether coffee makes your pee smell, and why dentists are suddenly obsessed with gum recession. We hear why polyester might be affecting your fertility levels. And bears are getting jobs at long last after years of mooching off campers and breaking into garbage cans. Sounds like raccoons ought to prepare for some hard labor too.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/why-you-shouldnt-kiss-a-turtleJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get 55% off your Babbel subscription at https://babbel.com/braincandyVisit https://www.carawayhome.com/braincandy to take advantage of this limited-time offer for up to 20% off your next purchase!Head to https://embracepetinsurance.com/braincandy and sign up for pet insurance today!Head to https://cadenlane.com/braincandy and use code BRAINCANDY for 20% off your order!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 767767: Saviors, Saunas, and The Greatest Reality Show Never Made
Susie checked something off her bucket list by seeing Jerry Seinfeld live and in the flesh even though it meant going to West Virginia and eating at a dive bar. We discuss the documentary The Greatest Reality Show Never Made about a series from the early aughts that people signed up for after quitting their jobs and leaving their homes, but it turned out to be a scam. We learn what happened and what they think of it all now. Susie talks about a woman who went to Africa to start a charity to distribute food, but things went terribly wrong after she got arrogant about her abilities. We hear about an Accident Waiting to Happen that, well, happened at the World Sauna Championships. We discuss the British bird that flew away, learned Spanish, and now has a problem with someone named Larry. Plus, we find out why Sarah was *thisclose* to being a bird lady.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/why-you-shouldnt-kiss-a-turtleJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get 20% off when you go to https://www.liquidiv.com and use code CANDY at checkout!Go to https://nutrafol.com and enter the promo code BRAINCANDY to save $15 off your first month’s subscription!Cancel your unwanted subscriptions – and manage your money the easy way – by going to https://rocketmoney.com/braincandyControl Body Odor ANYWHERE with @lumedeodorant and get $5 off off your Starter Pack (that’s over 40% off) with promo code BRAINCANDY5 at https://lumedeodorant.com! #lumepodSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 766766: Rivals 3 Rebuttal, Sleeping Beauties, & Bored Pigeons
Sarah saw a recent interview with her Rivals 3 partner and she would like a chance at a rebuttal. We object! We're talking about that ding-dong billionaire is trying to reverse aging again. Turns out his penis is young again, but this whole schtick is old. ChatGPT is insulting us by making the ugliest version of Sarah and Susie winning the Challenge, and we think it's a conspiracy. Susie is mad about wax museum pranks and Sarah is mad about stunts--specifically the one where Jarod Leto climbs the Empire State Building to promote his dumb band. She is also not falling for a nipplebra from Kim Kardashian. We discuss the Met Gala's new theme of Sleeping Beauties and what the delicate pieces the name refers to entail. We learn whether expensive weddings correlate with wedded bliss or not. Susie tells us what happens to pigeons (and people) when they're bored.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/publicity-stunt-hockey-death-divorce-ratesJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Control Body Odor ANYWHERE with @lumedeodorant and get $5 off off your Starter Pack (that’s over 40% off) with promo code BRAINCANDY5 at https://lumedeodorant.com! #lumepodGet Up to 50% OFF @honeylove by going to https://honeylove.com/braincandy! #honeylovepodFind your forever pieces @jennikayne and get 25% off at https://www.jennikayne.com/braincandy! #jennikaynepartnerHead to https://laundrysauce.com/braincandy and use promo code BRAINCANDY at checkout for 15% off! Ep 765765: Flying High, Sarah's Squabble & Sphinx Construction
Is Sarah trying to talk Susie into going back on the Challenge? What in the Freaky Friday is going on here? We discuss the man who had an unusual reaction to magic mushrooms that got him arrested for the attempted murder of 80 people. We also learn that an arrest was made in the freak death of a hockey player on the ice. One thing we're all against is forced entertainment, so no singing on planes, please. Sarah almost got into fisticuffs at a comedy show, and we are here for it. Susie has had it with the viral story of the Thanksgiving texters who defied racial stereotypes and formed an unlikely friendship. We hear why some older comedians are realizing that they owe their careers to their moms. Susie said the Robbie Williams documentary made her realize how unnatural fame is. We celebrate the unsung hero of Thanksgiving (mushroom soup) and Susie loses it over Sarah's "rich people" stuffing. Plus, we find out how ancient Egyptians were working smarter not harder when they made the Sphinxes.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/publicity-stunt-hockey-death-divorce-ratesJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get an extended 30 day free trial when you go to https://www.dipseastories.com/braincandyGet $20 off the test when you go to https://modernfertility.com/braincandyVisit https://www.carawayhome.com/braincandy to take advantage of this limited-time offer for up to 20% off your next purchase!Go to https://paireyewear.com and use code HOLIDAY20 for 20% off your first pair!Try AG1 and get a FREE 1-year supply of Vitamin D3K2 AND 5 free AG1 Travel Packs with your first purchase at https://drinkag1.com/braincandySee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 764764: Fugees Flub, AI CEO, & Meteorite Money
Susie and Sarah are getting back in the competitive spirit with an upcoming athletic event, and it is hilarious. Sarah got a new trashy luxury item and it is a guaranteed AWH. She went to a Lauryn Hill and the Fugees concert, and despite, or perhaps because of, her high hopes, she was very disappointed. A Polish alcohol company hired a new CEO that is a woman of color! Unfortunately, she is a robot. There's a huge treasure at the bottom of the ocean and a lot of people are hoping to get their hands on it. Seems like if you're willing to go to the bottom of the ocean and grab it, it should be finders keepers. But Sarah is thinking about sticking a magnet to a stick and finding some meteorites because evidently that's big business??Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/unrealistic-cgi-flames-amazon-drivers-pee-being-called-baby-1430314Join our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Head to https://nakedwines.com/BRAINCANDY and click ‘Enter Voucher’ in the top right when you get to the website, and enter BRAINCANDY for both the code AND password to get 6 bottles of wine for JUST $39.99 with shipping included!Head to https://moshlife.com/braincandy to save 20% off plus FREE shipping on your first 6-count Trial Pack!Get $20 off your purchase of a Hatch Restore 2 and free shipping at https://www.hatch.co/braincandyRitual is offering my listeners 30% off during your first month. Ep 763763: Stallone Regrets, Split Tongues, & Dark Comedy
Sarah had her first pow day, so Susie is annoyed. We hear why Yogi Berra is an underrated baseball player with a heckuva personality. We learn why Sylvester Stallone is full of regret, and he demonstrates the torture of trying to gain the love of our parents. But at least he's got the Shakespearean writing to fall back on. Sarah tries to explain why humans are always seeking to "be enough," and why it can be so painful. Good news for snakes--some female researchers found their clitoris and got two times the fun when they found each lady snake has double the pleasure. Sarah's got a hilarious theory about why that is. We hear what ever happened to comedian Brett Butler after her sitcom was cancelled. Plus! Susie gets to talk with the director of HBO's Last Stop Larramah on how the tiny Australian town was really a microcosm of life on earth, how the people in the town remind her of life on the Challenge, and why his movie caused her to have an existential, emotional experience.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newslettter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/unrealistic-cgi-flames-amazon-drivers-pee-being-called-baby-1430314Join our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get $30 off the first box - PLUS free Croissants in every box - when you go to https://wildgrain.com/braincandy to start your subscription! If you go to https://www.reliefband.com and use promo code CANDY you’ll receive 20% off plus free shipping! If you want to take ownership of your health, it starts with AG1. Ep 762762: Soap Solution, Amazon Revenge, & Big Babies
Sarah took Susie to a couple's "sound bath" in Denver, so they explain that experience and offer their thoughts on the hippity dippity, groovy vibrations. We learn about a teen who invented a soap that treats skin cancer and we're just over here podcasting like goons. Hear about the man who wanted to punish Jeff Bezos for his mistreatment of employees and came up with the perfect product to exact his revenge. We discuss the texts Jeff Bezos sent his girlfriend and the unusual pet name he used for her. Sarah explains why women's brains are affected when they are called "baby" and when they hear the word "no."Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/unrealistic-cgi-flames-amazon-drivers-pee-being-called-babyJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get 15% off your first order when you use promo code CANDY at https://www.bollandbranch.comTry AG1 and get a FREE 1-year supply of Vitamin D3K2 AND 5 free AG1 Travel Packs with your first purchase at https://drinkag1.com/braincandyCancel your unwanted subscriptions – and manage your money the easy way – by going to https://rocketmoney.com/braincandyFind your forever pieces @jennikayne and get 15% off with promo code BRAINCANDY at https://www.jennikayne.com/braincandy! #jennikaynepartnerSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 761761: Milli Vanilli, Tarantula Tragedy, & Fire Fear
Sarah and Susie are fresh off their Denver reunion, and ready for more candy for their brains. We start with a discussion about Milli Vanilli, the lip-synching duo from the 90s, who were exposed and exiled from the charts. Susie learned a lot more details about their careers that shed some light on why they did it, why the music industry was in on it, and the vitriol that followed. We hear Susie's connection to the group. We learn about a tarantula that almost caused a car crash and Susie is mad that he's still living his best life. We discuss "siren clubs" that are happening among Pacific Islanders in New Zealand and the debate about how to handle their noisy "cultural" expressions. We hear why fire is so hard to make in CGI, and why Sarah believes the hit film, Backdraft contributes to her fear of fire to this day.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/unrealistic-cgi-flames-amazon-drivers-pee-being-called-babyJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:For Green Chef’s best deal of the year, get $250 off with code braincandy250 at https://www.greenchef.com/braincandy250Get started at https://www.chime.com/braincandyThis episode is sponsored by BetterHelp. Ep 760760: Birdhouses, Bears, and Bottomless Booze
Susie wants to know why we still have "viewings" when people die, and how she finds the ritual of open caskets to be macabre and strange. Plus, how is there technology that provides AI, but no one has updated the embalming process enough to make dead people look like...alive people. Sarah explains why birdhouses might be a bad idea, and birds are experiencing the same laziness that comes from comfort that people have. A bear went to Disney World, and we are very impressed with his tour of the park. We discuss brunch culture, and the standard of providing a "bottomless" booze option, and now restaurants are trying to solve the problem of inebriated guests. Susie is blaming "wine moms" and says the idea that these are gals who are letting loose because they never get time to themselves is false. We learn about driverless taxis, and debate whether we'd want one. Susie would prefer if we automated the dental industry, hair professionals, and any place where people make small talk.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/lazy-birds-vomit-fees-is-britney-really-freeJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get your first visit for only five dollars at https://www.apostrophe.com/braincandy when you use our code: BRAINCANDYGet 55% off your Babbel subscription at https://babbel.com/braincandyGet an exclusive 20% off your first order at https://thrivecausemetics.com/braincandyHead to https://cadenlane.com/braincandy and use code BRAINCANDY for 20% off your order!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 759759: Green Funerals, Free Will, & the Power of Lipstick
It's almost Sarah's favorite day of the year, and this episode will fit into the spooky theme. We learn about a funeral home that was really phoning it in with regards to disposal of the bodies, and despite their environmentally friendly mission, they ended up causing more mess. We learn about the inventor of the modern day bulletproof vest, who shot himself hundreds of times to test his own product. We hear about the burglary that inspired his invention and we discuss how inventors often are a little too invested (no pun intended) with their products, and how his passion probably backfired (pun intended), and possibly caused people to die. We hear the most shocking part of the Britney documentary that caused her world to "shatter," and it's kind of amazing. Susie shares why one esteemed scholar believes human beings have NO free will and everything is predetermined, and why other scholars are disturbed by his claims. We discuss the idea of "olfactory illusions," and learn why one researcher says they are not possible. Plus, we hear the history of lipstick, why it's the most "deadly" cosmetic, and how men are scared of its powers.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/lazy-birds-vomit-fees-is-britney-really-freeJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Go to https://www.reliefband.com and use promo code CANDY for 20% off plus free shipping!Head to https://www.smalls.com/braincandy and use promo code BRAINCANDY at checkout for 50% off your first order PLUS free shipping!Get $20 off the test when you go to https://modernfertility.com/braincandyGet an extended 30 day free trial when you go to https://www.dipseastories.com/braincandySee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 758758: Up For Anything, Lion's Mullet, & Hot People
Susie is accidentally tracking an airplane from Pittsburgh, and we're starting to wonder if this is a security risk. Sarah would like to put out a public service announcement that disinfected and clean are two different things, and you can shove your hand sanitizer up your you-know-what. She went to Urban Outfitters recently, and found out she is old, can't wear mini-skirts, and Fiona Apple makes her cry. We hear why she claims she's only hot one week/month and she has a theory about why hot people end up with hot people. We debate the difference between being up for anything and down for anything, and we're both, that's all we know. The zoo in China is up to no good again and it's HILARIOUS. Let's just say they want to assure you they did NOT give a lion's mane a haircut why would you even think that??? Susie confesses to having a gross habit in high school, but we agreed to just think of it as a nerdy hobby instead of the nastiness it actually is. There's a new version of We Didn't Start the Fire out and Susie is sharing what should've been included, but in a strange turn of events, Sarah found out for the first time that that song is about actual historical events...Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/romance-novel-history-microscopic-photography-sounds-animals-hateJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Head to https://moshlife.com/braincandy to save 20% off plus FREE shipping on your first 6-count Trial Pack!Head to https://embracepetinsurance.com/braincandy and sign up for pet insurance today!Get 15% off your first order when you use promo code CANDY at https://www.bollandbranch.comSo head to https://nakedwines.com/braincandy and click ‘Enter Voucher’ in the top right when you get to the website, and enter BRAINCANDY for both the code AND password to get 6 bottles of wine for JUST $39.99 with shipping included!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 757757: Cupid Shuffle, Thighmaster, & Twin Flames
Susie went out on the town and now you're going to hear about it. A run-in with the police and war of words with an old lady at the Eagles concert? It's been a week! Sarah thinks the cure for this crazy behavior is a sound bath, so the gals planned a Colorado retreat to ease their minds. Hear their thoughts on Suzanne Somers's recent death, the reason Susie can't quit thinking about a small town in the Australian outback, and a complicated supermodel who isn't here to be your hero. We discuss the crazy Twin Flames cult that pressured people to change their genders and we learn the fascinating history of romance novels including the reason the covers are now mostly illustrated, why they've toned down the spicy stuff, and whether they're still just for white housewives. Plus, we hear why animals hate human voices and we realize we're the seagulls of the land mammal community.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/romance-novel-history-microscopic-photography-sounds-animals-hateJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get $30 off the first box - PLUS free Croissants in every box - when you go to https://wildgrain.com/braincandy to start your subscription!Get 20% off when you go to https://www.liquid-iv.com and use code CANDY at checkout!Get 20% OFF @honeylove by going to https://www.honeylove.com/braincandy! #honeylovepodGet 15% off your first pair when you go to https://paireyewear.com/braincandySee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 756756: Powerball, Yummy Mummies, & Golden Bachelor
After encouraging Sarah to avoid playing the lottery, Susie became a hypocrite by going all in on the Powerball frenzy sweeping the nation. But instead of admitting her lack of morality, Susie persuades Sarah to join the fun. And we make big plans for our winnings. Sarah reveals why until fairly recently, people were grinding up mummies and using them to make artwork and some people even ate them because of a misinterpretation of an ancient text. Oops! We discuss why TikTok trends are often based on faulty science, misrepresentations of studies, and plain old lies. We hear the origins of Rock, Paper, Scissors, and it was surprisingly not born out of boredom. Sarah watched the Golden Bachelor, and despite her ten seasons of reality tv experience, she is outraged that the show is somewhat staged and highly produced. Will her new favorite widower find love? Not if producers keep setting unreachable romantic standards, she says! We discuss the bedbugs in Paris and why it's not helping their hygiene reputation. Plus, Susie is mad that Sarah keeps secrets from her about her social life.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/tiktok-lies-bedbugs-in-paris-preserving-historyJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get 5 free AG1 Travel Packs and a FREE 1 year supply of Vitamin D with your first purchase at https://drinkag1.com/braincandyGet 20% OFF @honeylove by going to https://www.honeylove.com/braincandy! #honeylovepodFind your forever pieces @jennikayne and get 15% off with promo code BRAINCANDY at https://www.jennikayne.com/braincandy! #jennikaynepartnerGet $20 off your purchase of a Hatch Restore 2 and free shipping at https://www.hatch.co/braincandySee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 755755: Sensitive People, Crime Con, & Australian Hillbillies
Susie got to visit her favorite tourist trap in Boston (where everyone knows her name!), but had to do so the old-fashioned way since her family's phones malfunctioned. Let's just say, if the bad guys ever take down our country's phone service we're all screwed. We learn why some people are wearing noise-cancelling headphones for a majority of their day, and why it might be bad for their mental health. And Susie preaches to Gen Z again about why they need to toughen up, but it turns out Sarah might be on their side since she wraps herself in a sleep cocoon because it's soothing. We learn the history of Dr. Brommer, the quirky castile soap creator, and why he succeeded in business, but not in life. We debate whether Crime Con is a harmless community of true crime enthusiasts or a re-victimizing event that profits off of pain. Susie watched a wild documentary about a small town in the Australian outback that is the center of a murder mystery. Plus, we hear the amazing efforts the National Archives takes to preserve documents and our history.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/tiktok-lies-bedbugs-in-paris-preserving-historyJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Cancel your unwanted subscriptions – and manage your money the easy way – by going to https://rocketmoney.com/braincandyVisit https://www.carawayhome.com/braincandy to take advantage of this limited-time offer for 10% off your next purchase! This episode is sponsored by BetterHelp. Ep 754754: Misphonia, Taylor Swift's NFL, & Platonic Proposals
Sarah thinks something fishy is happening with British Bakeoff, and she needs answers. Sarah is so enamored with Taylor Swift's ability to rile up the football boys that she is considering becoming a Swiftie or AT LEAST unmuting her on spotify. This is big news. We were happy for the seal who escaped from his enclosure at a New York zoo. Or was it a sea lion? And we found out the difference between a seal and a sea lion (and what the heck is the deal with walruses?) while we were at it. We discuss the inmate who recently escaped from a Pennsylvania prison, and Susie seriously freaks Sarah out when she finds out what he did when he broke into someone's house. It's some horror movie sh*t. Susie also explains why the police and SWAT team members who caught him were a little too proud of themselves and really the credit should go to someone else altogether. We hear what the diamond industry is cooking up to try to sell more diamonds now that fewer people are getting married, but we think their idea is a dud. Susie thinks Gen Z might go for it and gets all judge-y about it, but Sarah reminds her of all the dumb things our generations have done. We debate an article by David Brooks which encouraged people to focus on marriage rather than their careers, and Susie explains why he's seen as a conservative in sheep's clothing. Susie shares a story about a recent night out that almost turned into another addition to her year of bad luck, but this story is a real BCP emotional roller coaster.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/friendship-diamonds-lifesavers-zoo-escapeeJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get an extended 30 day free trial when you go to https://www.dipseastories.com/braincandyVisit https://ritual.com/braincandy to start Ritual or add HyaCera to your line up today!Get started at https://www.chime.com/braincandyHead to https://www.smalls.com/braincandy and use promo code BRAINCANDY at checkout for 50% off your first order PLUS free shipping! Ep 753753: Hotline Heroes, Skating Scandal, & Disco Sucks
Today we reminisce about the Challengemania Hall of Fame and Sarah's induction speech. We hear about the Harley & Katya documentary which chronicled a competitive figure skating duo and the untimely demise of the female skater. We discuss how concussions and injuries from the ice, the difficulties of competing, and the pressure on young athletes contribute to mental health concerns for the skaters. Susie thinks there's still time for Sarah to become a competitive bobsledder, but Sarah isn't so sure. We hear about the man who created the famous and calamitous "disco sucks" event at the professional baseball game in 1979, why the organizer regrets it, and how the people who stormed the field might have something in common with the January 6 insurrectionists. We discuss a study that shows why sleeping with your partner's clothing could help you sleep better even if you're not aware it's theirs. Susie describes what it's like to work a suicide hotline, why a lot of people call who are looking for love, friendship, or romance, how the operators assess risk, and why it's a thankless job. We laugh about Sarah's inability to "wind down" on a phone call and how she realized she has a very annoying habit in social settings. And our minds are blown when we learn the difference between chicken strips and chicken tenders. Who knew? This is the BCP content we all need.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/friendship-diamonds-lifesavers-zoo-escapeeJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get an extended 30 day free trial at https://www.dipseastories.com/braincandyGet 30% off during your first month at https://ritual.com/braincandyGet started at https://www.chime.com/braincandyHead to https://www.smalls.com/braincandy and use promo code BRAINCANDY at checkout for 50% off your first order PLUS free shipping!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 752752: Lion Dads, Missing Jet, & Mexican Alien
Sarah is still obsessing about predator animals. She has developed a real affinity for polar bears and thinks lion dads are really not pulling their weight. They have manes and a roar, and that's about it. They're all hype! But it was great to hear that according to her, cats are great and dogs are "nasty." We discuss whether learning more about animals makes us more or less likely to be vegetarians. Elephants are smarty pants and walruses are, and I quote, "f*cking idiots." Sarah talks about the military jet that went missing and her theory about what really happened. But she was shocked to hear that the pilot made a 911 call and he didn't sound upset that he was EJECTED from the jet. We laugh about the "alien" they discovered in Mexico and then we get worried that we're going to look like real a-holes if they find out this thing actually is an alien or as Sarah thinks "is from another dimension." We learn why Gen Z does not want to be criticized at work and they don't even want "feedback," so now managers are reframing the messages by calling it "feedfoward." After we lost our minds about how stupid this is, we discuss how they say it's because they don't want to live in the past, but Susie points out that this is hypocritical since all they ever want to talk about is their past "trauma." Susie is full of BCP hot takes today. Ep 751751: Super Models, Surfer Culture, & Stinky French
Susie gives a report on the Super Models documentary and the cultural moment that supermodels represented in the 80s and 90s, how they discuss aging, and why Susie is critical of younger models. It even inspired one of Susie's famous hot takes where she criticizes a nepo baby who "can't walk." We learn about the woman who was hired to fix Airbnb's party problem and programmed an algorithm to sniff out whether people are going to throw a party at the house. We discuss the recent study that found that patients of female surgeons have more favorable outcomes and we theorize why that might be. We debate why anyone would want a male OB-GYN, and how even TSA agents take liberties with their "authority." Susie discusses a scholarly article on why French people were not into personal hygiene and how the stereotype about them is apparently true or at least was far into the 1900s. Sarah, however, is very defensive because she is a stinky woman and thinks Susie should give the French a break. We learn how men muscled women out of surfing, why the sport is changing slowly, and how Sarah had a secret surfing career.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/scary-feedback-elephant-names-female-surgeonsJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Go to https://www.greenchef.com/60braincandy and use code 60braincandy to get 60% off plus free shipping!Get $30 off the first box - PLUS free Croissants in every box - when you go to https://wildgrain.com/braincandy to start your subscription!Control Body Odor ANYWHERE with @lumedeodorant and get $5 off off your Starter Pack (that’s over 40% off) with promo code BRAINCANDY5 at https://lumepodcast.com! #lumepodSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 750750: Snakes with Legs, Cheetah Paternity, & Helmets for Dummies
This episode is wild. First we're celebrating our 750th episode w/ a delicious cake from Kara McSweeney and Evanly Bakes. Mostly we realize how even after all these episodes of laughing and learning we still don't know anything. We hear all the fun facts Sarah picked up from one of her wild nature documentaries (we are pretty sure she was high when she watched it though). She claims hares are faster than cheetahs, and we have questions about the legitimacy of this race. We realize we know nothing about how twins are made and whether humans can have twins with two separate fathers naturally or whether it can only happen through in vitro fertilization. Sarah talks about a cannibal family that apparently is one the most important history lessons (only to her and some other people in California, but don't tell her that). She is warning people not to rely on AI to decide what to forage, and luckily Susie wouldn't forage if her life depended on it, so she's safe. We rage about the man who climbed a statue and broke its arm off and laugh about how we all would react if we were him. Humans are so dumb. Sarah gets mad about people who don't wear helmets and wonders what in the world they're thinking. People in the Philippines think they discovered a snake with legs (aka a lizard), but even though we're no David Attenborough, we cracked the case on what's really going on. Plus, Susie interviews J. Reuben Appelman about his new book While Idaho Slept about the murder of four young college students and the suspect who is going to trial. It's a fascinating and nuanced look at the crime and the alleged killer.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/yarn-facts-dont-trust-ai-feline-infidelityJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get 20% OFF @honeylove by going to https://www.honeylove.com/braincandy! #honeylovepodFind your forever pieces @jennikayne and get 15% off with promo code BRAINCANDY at https://www.jennikayne.com/braincandy! #jennikaynepartnerHead to https://moshlife.com/braincandy to save 20% off plus FREE shipping on your first 6-count Trial Pack!Get $20 off your purchase of a Hatch Restore 2 and free shipping at https://www.hatch.co/braincandySee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 749749: Roman Empire, Therapist Sighting, & Breakup BTS
Sarah is getting into Tuesday's Sacrifice mode as the weather turns cool and the witchy vibes come alive. Susie has a sound board and uses it with abandon on this episode. We hear about the Team Foxcatcher documentary, and how it is the perfect combination of murder, sports, and an eccentric millionaire. We hear facts about crocheting that are surprisingly interesting and make Sarah want to bust out her knitting equipment and get to work on a scarf that looks like a snake ate a tennis ball. How often do you think about the Roman Empire? Well, evidently men think about it a lot and Susie has a theory about why and what the female equivalent is. And our minds are blown. Susie saw Adam's therapist out in the wild, so she has some questions for Sarah about why it is a big performance of silence and awkwardness when that happens, what therapists think when they see their clients, and why Susie is hoping she made a good impression. We discuss why men are getting weaker and now have the same grip strength as women their age. We explain why moving companies have insight into your relationships. Plus, Susie reveals why you should worry about sharing your data even if you "have nothing to hide."Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/yarn-facts-dont-trust-ai-feline-infidelityJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:You can grow thicker, healthier hair AND support our show by going to https://nutrafol.com and enter the promo code: BRAINCANDY to save $15 off your first month’s subscription!Control Body Odor ANYWHERE with @lumedeodorant and get $5 off off your Starter Pack (that’s over 40% off) with promo code: BRAINCANDY5 at https://lumepodcast.com! #lumepodCancel your unwanted subscriptions – and manage your money the easy way – by going to https://rocketmoney.com/braincandyGo to https://www.reliefband.com and use promo code: CANDY to receive 20% off plus free shipping!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 748748: Brain Candy: The Musical, Ornamental Hermits, & the Good Wall
We didn't intend on this episode becoming a musical version of Brain Candy, but, boy oh boy, did we have a song in our hearts today. We apologize in advance. We learn what "ornamental hermits" are and find out why people were using them to gain social status centuries ago. Susie explains why Paris Hilton would've loved an ornamental hermit. We hear why Sarah started loving Veggie Tales as an adult and Susie is singing about an astronomer/physicist. We laugh about the couple who bulldozed through the Great Wall of China, and wonder what exactly it is that they were trying to accomplish. We love a good shortcut, but this sounds ridiculous. Susie gets real confused about the 7 Wonders of the World because it turns out there are more than seven and some of them are natural, some of them are manmade, and some of them aren't really that wondrous. Sarah explains why the rules have changed in New York and now there will be a lot of people who will be sharing AirBnBs with an extra roommate. Finally, we learn what "hot bedding" is, and it turns out it's not as sexy as it sounds.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/cave-rescue-bear-cam-saves-life-new-airbnb-rulesJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Head to https://www.smalls.com/braincandy and use promo code: BRAINCANDY at checkout for 50% off your first order PLUS free shipping!Get 20% OFF @honeylove by going to https://www.honeylove.com/braincandy! #honeylovepodHead to https://laundrysauce.com/braincandy and use promo code: BRAINCANDY at checkout for 15% off!Right now, you can get an exclusive 20% off your first order at https://thrivecausemetics.com/braincandySee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 747747: Hamster Wheel, Near Death, & Scouts Honor
Sarah shares a disturbing and wild experience recently in which she believes she was drugged at a bar, and how it's affected her behavior. Susie talks about a man who is trying to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a--wait for it--hamster wheel. We learn why this is his "dream," why he keeps getting stopped by the authorities, and what we think is inspiring his quest. We also hear about the American caver who got stuck in a cave in Turkey and had to be rescued because of gastrointestinal issues. We discuss near death experiences, and why one man who studies them is convinced there is life after death. Plus, we learn about "fear death experiences," and what's behind life-flashing-before-your-eyes in those moments of distress. Susie talks about the Scout's Honor documentary on the Boys Scouts abuse allegations. And Sooz Reviews the Never Let Him Go docu-series about a mysterious death of an American PhD student, and how his brother took on the job of investigating it, and why it took 30 years to solve it. We also hear about BS High, which is about a completely made up high school football team that ended up playing on ESPN. A lost hiker was rescued thanks to a bear cam in Alaska and the people who watch it for fun.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/cave-rescue-bear-cam-saves-life-new-airbnb-rulesJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get an extended 30 day free trial when you go to https://www.dipseastories.com/braincandyGet $20 off the test when you go to https://modernfertility.com/braincandyThis episode is sponsored by BetterHelp. Ep 746746: Book Blurbs, Plastic Plants, & Rigged Ratings
Susie tried to send Sarah a gift and it went terribly wrong. We find out why Susie and Sarah have very different relationships with their trainers and Sarah almost had a comically bad run-in with a cactus. We learn why online ratings are no longer helpful due to "data panhandling." Sarah shares why book blurbs are useless and definitely "inspiring and illuminating." Sarah wants to ban all reviews of any kind. She wants a free for all situation instead. We couldn't help but talk about the recent incident on an airplane where they had to turn the whole thing around because somebody had explosive you know what. But not to be outdone, Sarah tells a story about someone at her doctor's office that left a big mess on the floor, and it wasn't who you might think. You know how we've been trying to "save the bees" for years, well turns out, we've been saving the wrong ones all this time.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/lonely-shoppers-broken-reviews-bee-mythsJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get 5 free AG1 Travel Packs and a FREE 1 year supply of Vitamin D with your first purchase at https://drinkag1.com/braincandyControl Body Odor ANYWHERE with @lumedeodorant and get $5 off off your Starter Pack (that’s over 40% off) with promo code: BRAINCANDY5 at https://lumedeodorant.com/offer/braincandy5! #lumepodGo to https://go.mycopilot.com/braincandy to get a 14-day FREE trial with your own personal trainer!Find your forever pieces @jennikayne and get 15% off with promo code BRAINCANDY at https://www.jennikayne.com/braincandy! #jennikaynepartnerSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 745745: Tennis Tomfoolery, Lifelong Learning, & Auto-Tuning Jesus
We're still talking about that dude who told Sarah to smile, and Susie came up with a new way to handle these men. We celebrate Lincoln's recent accomplishment and entrance into the family business (of winning!). We discuss the Oppenheimer movie and documentary, and discuss how people can be both a victim and victimizer and how humans justify their aggressive or bad behavior. Sarah explains why nukes are stored in Colorado and her recent experience at an "off-road class" that she thinks every driver should have to take. We hear why churches are using auto-tune during their worship services, and we think this flies in the face of the message of Jesus. Susie explains why Christians think they have to be perfect and why it's probably not the best message. We hear what you should include in your emergency kit and there are items you would never expect. We hear why self-checkout lanes might be making the loneliness epidemic worse, but Susie thinks cashiers are not the solution to people's isolation. And we debate whether the new tipping approach everywhere is helping or hurting workers.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/lonely-shoppers-broken-reviews-bee-mythsJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get $30 off the first box - PLUS free Croissants in every box - when you go to https://wildgrain.com/braincandy to start your subscription!Grab your Liquid I.V. in bulk nationwide at Costco or you can get 20% off when you go to https://www.liquid-iv.com and use code: CANDY at checkout!Get started at https://www.chime.com/braincandyVisit https://www.carawayhome.com/braincandy to take advantage of this limited-time offer for 10% off your next purchase!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 744744: Bama Rush, Genius Math, & Repackaging Womanhood
Sarah watched the Bama Rush documentary so we don't have to. The film explores the process of joining an Alabama sorority, the overlord organizations that control the bylaws, and the women who want to join. She explains how there are power dynamics, systemic issues, and all the usual issues plaguing women (e.g. self-esteem, consumerism, body image, etc). We even learn some weird jargon including "rush bag" and "PNMs" (Potential New Members). Sarah shares what technique her mom used to teach her about alcohol tolerance and responsible drinking, but Susie thinks her approach only worked because Sarah is mature and a rule-follower. We bemoan the way we have not gotten any perks from reality tv, but our family members have somehow. We learn about "girl trends" like girl dinner and girl math, and we debate whether it's making space for females without kids, husbands, and partners, or whether it reinforces stereotypes (or both!). We celebrate the Nebraska women's volleyball and the ad campaign that shows why female athletes are just as exciting to watch as men. We trash that loser coach who kissed a female player without her consent. And out of nowhere Sarah explains why she is all for ass-slapping from her teammates.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/where-are-all-the-lindasJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get 30% off your entire order at https://www.mykitsch.com/braincandyGet 5 free AG1 Travel Packs and a FREE 1 year supply of Vitamin D with your first purchase at https://drinkag1.com/braincandyCancel your unwanted subscriptions – and manage your money the easy way – by going to https://rocketmoney.com/braincandyOur listeners get 15% off your first order at https://www.jennikayne.com when you use code: BRAINCANDY at checkout!Get 55% off your Babbel subscription - but only for our listeners - at https://babbel.com/braincandySee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 743743: Body Parts, Brain Worm, & Baby Python
In episode 743, we find out why Susie loves her name and she is hoping someone will name their baby after her. Sarah confesses that she had a teacher mock her name and she's still mad at him (Mr. Majesky, we're looking at you.) Susie talks about the rise and fall of HQ Trivia and why the Tech Bros who fail never seem to pay the consequences. We learn about a change in law that is allowing amputees to keep their body parts for religious reasons and Susie wonders why that wasn't already allowed. We learn about a woman who had a WORM IN HER BRAIN, and Sarah loses her mind about it. It's fantastic. Sarah finds out why she should not cut wildflowers after all. A British Museum wants the police to punish the person that stole all the art that they had stolen from other countries. We discuss the legacy of John Belushi and why he's a hero and a villain just like everyone else!Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/where-are-all-the-lindasJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Go to https://www.greenchef.com/60braincandy and use code: 60braincandy to get 60% off plus free shipping!Visit https://ritual.com/braincandy to start Ritual or add Essential Protein to your subscription today!Get 15% off your first order when you use promo code CANDY at https://www.bollandbranch.comGo to https://nutrafol.com and enter the promo code: BRAINCANDY to save $15 off your first month’s subscription!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 742742: Sarah's Name Game, Spotless Giraffe, & Dead Art
Today we discuss why we feel so comfortable on the air that we forget people are going to actually hear our nonsense. We talk about the serendipity of Susie's birthday and the incredible Arnold cake Adam got her. Sarah explains why people are returning too much stuff, but really they're just buying too much stuff. We theorize about the giraffe with no spots born at a zoo, and Sarah wonders if it's a cry for help. We hear about an organization that finishes the art projects that people leave behind when they die and why stolen memes helped Susie see the good in the world behind the keyboard anonymity. Plus, Sarah reveals what really happened when a man recently told her to smile and we are livid.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/susie-and-sarahs-favorite-topics-this-weekJoin our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get 20% OFF @honeylove by going to https://www.honeylove.com/braincandy! #honeylovepodHead to head to https://laundrysauce.com/braincandy and use promo code BRAINCANDY at checkout for 15% off!Use our CoPilot link https://go.mycopilot.com/braincandy to get a 14-day FREE trial with your own personal trainer!Get an exclusive 20% off your first order when you visit https://thrivecausemetics.com/braincandySee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 741741: Telemarketers, CPR Scam, & Sports Addicts
Susie talks about her latest obsession, the Telemarketers docuseries on Max. She reveals how a huge telemarketing company changed the industry forever, why we're all at risked of being scammed, and why this documentary is even crazier than you can imagine. Sarah has been watching a bunch of documentaries too, and she explains how they all tie together. We learn why CPR is kind of a scam, and it's an open secret in the medical field that it's usually a performance for the families rather than an effective treatment or life-saving technique. We learn about a tribe in Brazil that is at the center of a debate over land and Susie shares some bizarre ways the "uncontacted" tribe has been introduced to the modern world. We learn the science behind athletic achievements and the real reason it seems like athletes keep getting better. Plus, we lose our minds talking about The Deepest Breath documentary on Netflix, and they say it's not a doc about free diving it's really a doc about addiction.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/susie-and-sarahs-favorite-topics-this-weekJoin our book club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get an extended 30 day free trial when you go to https://www.dipseastories.com/braincandyHead to https://www.smalls.com/braincandy and use promo code BRAINCANDY at checkout for 50% off your first order PLUS free shipping!Control Body Odor ANYWHERE with @lumedeodorant and get $5 off off your Starter Pack (that’s over 40% off) with promo code BRAINCANDY5 at https://lumedeodorant.com/offer/braincandy5! #lumepodSign up for pet insurance today and make sure you go to https://embracepetinsurance.com/braincandy or else they won’t know I sent you!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 740740: Nerdy by Nature, Texts From My Ex, & Bad News Cameos
Sarah wants Susie's son Lincoln to give her style tips since we're not in the loop anymore. Sarah visited Gothic Mountain and the science lab there, and she is NERDING OUT! We celebrate science, Sarah even cries about it, but then she get real wound up in short order about someone who BOO'ed her (and not the spooky ghost kind) for PICKING FLOWERS! She finally got caught in the act of her plant propagation crimes, and it wasn't pretty. Susie tried to make her feel bad by telling her who scolded her recently, and things calmed down emotionally. But then we were riding the emotional roller coaster again when Sarah put our text chain into a program that tells whether we are compatible. IT WAS WILD! Hear whether the robot thinks we're soul mates or not. We're not over it. People are buying Cameos from famous people to deliver bad news to their friends, family members, and employees, and we're not happy about it! Plus, Sarah gives insider tips about buying luxury goods.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/switched-at-birth-tree-email-addresses-compatibility-testJoin our book club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Go to https://www.reliefband.com and use promo code: CANDY to receive 20% off plus free shipping!Get 20% OFF @honeylove by going to https://www.honeylove.com/braincandy! #honeylovepodGo to https://go.mycopilot.com/braincandy to get a 14-day FREE trial with your own personal trainer!Find your forever pieces @jennikayne and get 15% off with promo code: BRAINCANDY at https://www.jennikayne.com/braincandy! #jennikaynepartnerGet 55% off your Babbel subscription at https://babbel.com/braincandySee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 739739: Horse Girl, Alien Invasion, & Switched at Birth
In episode 739, we're learning that Sarah has not let go of her pipe dreams of being a horse girl. She is itching for a new hobby, and we think horse grooming, trotting, and apple feeding are in her future. She is also in the midst of a very intense bet with Eli about who would win in a mile long swim race. Our money is on Sarah. Susie has amazing news--she got a mammogram! And boy, does she have a story to tell. Apparently, mammograms are not what she expected and she has some notes for the medical community. We hear why Peg Meister (Susie's mom) thinks aliens are "too close for comfort," and we were very excited to hear why. Turns out, we were having a "who's on first" type of conversation. We hear about two older gentlemen in Canada who were switched at birth, and why they both wish they didn't know the truth. Sooz Reviews the Jake Paul Untold episode on Netflix, and the documentary is surprisingly insightful about culture, parental love, sibling rivalry, and more. We did not see that coming. Plus, we talk to Danny Lee Clark aka Nitro from American Gladiators about his time on tv, what he learned through therapy, and what he's up to now.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/switched-at-birth-tree-email-addresses-compatibility-testJoin our book club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get $30 off the first box - PLUS free Croissants in every box - when you go to https://wildgrain.com/braincandy to start your subscription!Control Body Odor ANYWHERE with @lumedeodorant and get $5 off off your Starter Pack (that’s over 40% off) with promo code: BRAINCANDY5 at https://lumedeodorant.com/offer/braincandy5! #lumepodGet 15% off your first pair when you go to https://paireyewear.com/braincandyGet 5 free AG1 Travel Packs and a FREE 1 year supply of Vitamin D with your first purchase at https://drinkag1.com/braincandySee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep 738738: Sublimation, Simulation, and a Superfan Situation
It's raining cats and dogs, cactuses are dying, our pets' heads are falling off! Well, some of those things are true, and Sarah's had it. We hear why Colorado snow is vanishing into thin air, and frankly, the scientists seem to be approaching the problem with a shrug. Susie explains why climate change is exposing even more a-holes on Mt. Everest. Sarah had an experience with a Challenge superfan recently that she thinks is evidence that we're in a simulation, and we need answers. Susie talks about an incredible celebrity sighting and why it was one of her best life experiences. Sarah describes a strange incident on an airplane and why people online are convinced the woman involved "isn't real." Susie is dubious as usual.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comRead this week's Newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/thebraincandypodcast/is-this-a-real-bear-or-a-person-in-a-costumeJoin our book club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Visit https://www.betterhelp.com/braincandy today to get 10% off your first month!Get 5 free AG1 Travel Packs and a FREE 1 year supply of Vitamin D with your first purchase at https://drinkag1.com/braincandyCancel your unwanted subscriptions – and manage your money the easy way – by going to https://rocketmoney.com/braincandyGo to https://go.mycopilot.com/braincandy to get a 14-day FREE trial with your own personal trainer!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
