Rub was an FBA president, multiple time FBA TOTY winner and also did very well when he competed in the KCBS contests. Rub eventually got into the sauce manufacturing and selling business and has (3) different flavors of sauce which you can still buy to this day. In this segment we talked a lot about a contest that no longer exists…called the Best of the Best that was put on by now NBBQA owner, Kell and Janet Phelps. After 4 Years Away - Steve Ray RETURNS!!

He gave me as close to a "ghosting" (pun intended) as you can get without a full on shine. If you are a fan of the show then you know who I am talking about. He was an original Embedded Correspondent hailing from Tennessee. He owns a vehicle repair facility and also a BBQ supply store. He has generated some of the best content the show has ever put out and he is also a pitmaster and host of his own content on the internet. Believe it or not, "persona non grata" Steve Ray, joins the show for the first time in years! I will ask him the hardest questions he has ever experienced in an interview setting.
