March 15, 2023 - Season 13, Episode 100 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this late Tuesday night show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the second day of the annual NFL legal tampering period and how it included several more moves related to the Pittsburgh Steelers.We start by talking about the Steelers agreeing to terms with former New York Jets guard Nate Herbig earlier on Tuesday. We have both watched a little tape on Herbig since the news about him broke and we go over our notes on the former undrafted free agent out of Stanford. Later in the show, we go over the full contract details related to Herbig.The Steelers also reportedly re-signed safety Damontae Kazee and defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi on Tuesday so Alex and I go over those decisions. We don't have the full contract details yet on both of those players but we do have some financials to pass along. We go over what the re-signings mean and more.Late Tuesday afternoon we learned that the Steelers will be losing inside linebacker Robert Spillane in free agency to the Las Vegas Raiders. We also briefly discuss the New York Giants signing quarterback Daniel Jones to a very lucrative new deal right before the tag deadline.With the 2023 NFL scouting Combine now behind us, Jonathan Heitritter and Joe Clark, both of whom represented the site in Indianapolis this past week for the annual pre-draft event, join Alex and I. The four of us have a roundtable discussion with most of that being takeaways that Jonathan and Joe have from the this year’s combine. The four of us spend roughly 45 minutes talking about what took place in Indianapolis.After the roundtable discussion, Alex and I have a quick discussion about USC guard Andrew Vorhees, who tore his ACL during drills while participating in the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine. February 10, 2023 - Season 13, Episode 84 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Friday allegations concerning Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson allegedly punching quarterback Mitch Trubisky prior to the team's Week 4 game against the New York Jets. Those comments came from a CBS Sports Radio segment from Radio Row at the Super Bowl. Johnson has already denied the allegation, which we believe to be unfounded and thus false.The 2022 NFL Honors program took place Thursday night so Alex and I address everything Steelers related from that. We talk about Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward failing to once again win the Walter Payton Man of the Year award and more.Heyward and Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt have both been busy doing interviews this past week ahead of the Super Bowl so Alex and I quickly recap the main takeaways from all of them.Alex and I then move on to welcome site contributors Jonathan Heitritter, Tyler Wise, and Ross McCorkle to the show after they spent the last week in Mobile, AL covering the 2023 Senior Bowl week. We all have a solid hour roundtable discussion and it includes the five of us talking about the Senior Bowl practices, player media sessions and the Saturday game.
