Palpatine has accomplished a lot...which we saw most of in Star Wars Revenge of the Sith...however there were some things he didn't care for...and that was the quality of his troops. He felt numbers were the most important thing...whereas the First Order is focusing mostly on how well they perform. In revenge of the Sith we got the biggest turning point in the Star Wars universe, order 66, where Anakin cut off Mace Windu’s hand and Sidious threw him out the window. It was after this that Anakin was dubbed as Darth Vader. The entire conversation from the novel is quite different from what we got in the film, Palpatine was actually a lot more manipulative in the book, where Anakin would say things like he was unsure and that it was hard because he was a Jedi for so long, then Palpatine would say that it basically came down to him choosing between the Jedi and Padme. This was where Anakin basically accepted his new role as Sith Lord and Sidious told him to wipe out the Jedi at the Temple and then to go to Mustafar to the secret base where the Separatist Leadership remained. As Anakin marched to the Jedi temple with the 501st clones, which later on became Vader’s Fist, they left no creature alive as Sidious ordered for him to do in the novel. So obviously as we can see, the gate Master was killed within an instant. Now you’re probably wondering who this Jurokk. Well he’s a bit of a funny story, see he was in the revenge of the Sith novel, then he was in the the complete Star Wars encyclopedia in 2008, but later he was retconned in 2012 to ever have appeared in revenge of the Sith. Which is true, he never was in the movie, but he was in the book and remains in print to this day. So I find it a bit confusing as to why he was plucked out in 2012 randomly. Anakin Skywalker's turn to the dark side was 'fast' in the eyes of many Star Wars fans. However, in 3 minutes I will explain to you how it is not fast at all, and why his turn makes so much sense. In fact, I would argue his turn was justified (not his actions, those were messed up, but his turn). Order 66 aside, Anakin's years of being put down and held back by the Jedi was a test for him to overcome his impatience, however, when he couldn't save his mother, the process had really begun. I believe, like Dave Filoni said, had Qui-Gon Jinn beat Darth Maul and trained Anakin, then Qui-Gon would have been the father figure Anakin always needed. Anakin wouldn't have turned. However, Obi-Wan as his master, was not fully ready for such a padawan. Anakin's turn is a reflection of the treatment and abuse he received over the years at the Jedi Temple. What if in the world between worlds, when Anakin was in there with Ahsoka, he ended up walking with her, passing different gateways of moments in his life as he discussed his time as a Jedi, and what if he stopped to look at one, perhaps the moment he jumped over obi-wan on mustafar, or even the moment he went to stop sidious and mace, he pulled himself out of the portal like Ezra did to Ahsoka, and had a serious talk with him. Remember in Revenge of the Sith how Palpatine was sitting in that arm chair with bolts and restraints on the Invisible Hand ship? As Dooku came in to fight Anakin and Obi-Wan, we knew that of course Palpatine had faked the entire capture from his point of view. However, of course, did Grievous get him there on his ship? We've been like scavengers...trying to collects pieces here and there of Rey's identity...or possible theories to her identity. What if it was all under our noses from the very start? What if we actually saw her identity in The Last Jedi when Rey went into the cave and she saw herself as she was...just one of millions of clones. Or am I wrong? Is she related to Luke or Anakin Skywalker? Palpatine? Kylo Ren? Han Solo? Obi-Wan Kenobi? Who else could she be related to if she's not just a clone of someone...or something? Palpatine is one of the most powerful Sith Lords in all of the Galaxy (besides Snoke...I now suppose...) and with his legacy came many of his different powers, however in the movies we only got to see a limited amount of his abilities, that being his infamous Force Lightning. However today we've been shown a new power in CANON by the new Star Wars Battlefront 2 game. In legends, Sidious was one of the most, if not THE most over powered Sith Lords we have seen, almost as far-fetched as Luke Skywalker's force powers grew to be in the old comics. In Star Wars The Last Jedi, it's NO DOUBT that Luke Skywalker will be using some new found abilities and powers that he's learned in the last 30 or so years...well...we finally have visual confirmation of one of his new powers that we could see on screen (I hope). This power is called Force Repulse, it's a power that Luke Skywalker will harness and then explode outwards, sending a shockwave of power to shove his enemies back with immense power. I wonder if he'll use this against the Knights of Ren, or perhaps against Kylo Ren? Maybe Snoke? Will he even use this in the film? I believe he will...for sure. Learn more about your ad choices. Today’s fan-fiction will be one I’ve never done before. What if Obi-Wan killed Anakin on Mustafar? Kenobi didn’t finish Anakin because one, he couldn’t bring himself to do it, and second, by the time he travelled down the high ground to kill him, potentially falling into the lava himself, he would waste his moment of escape as Palpatine landed. For he knew if the Emperor came before him, he would surely die, as Yoda must have lost.
