It’s one thing to have the tax man call you in for an audit, but what happens when Jesus calls the tax man in for an audit? Here is a clue: the same thing that happens when He calls to you or me.

Mark 5 tells us about a woman with a debilitating issue of blood. She had been subjected to, suffered under, and spent all dealing with this life-altering illness until she heard of, came to, and pressed in to touch Jesus Christ. Through her story, we will endeavor to see and deal with our own subjections, our own ongoing issues, and perhaps find within her journey toward healing, a pathway toward the wholeness we so desperately long for.

The major stumbling block to fruitfulness in the Kingdom, and most likely in life in general, is taking offense. Today we see how one remarkable lady handled offense from the most unexpected of sources.

In Psalm 57:4, David makes the statement, “I am in the midst of lions; I lie among ravenous beasts— men whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are sharp swords. Be exalted, O God...” And as I read these words, I cannot help but wonder how many of you have been in the same situation; contending with people who are on the attack and seem to want nothing more than to hurt you and bring you down. With Daniel serving as the example, we find that there is a way to walk through those seasons and face those situations; to live in such a manner that “the God Whom you serve continually,” will move in and rescue you. This week we run hard after the God Who is forever Taking Down Lions.

I Am Like Jonah… today’s sermon explores the many ways we are like Jonah in our attempts to run from the Lord. Yet. His call s irrevocable. We can zig and zag and sleep and complain but the call remains.

You know you have been called by God to do something of eternal significance while on this planet. You sense His drawing, but you just cannot seem to make that next move. I Saw The Lord (Isaiah 6) One of the dramatic highlights of the Old Testament is the call of the prophet Isaiah. The way for this momentous call was facilitated by the death of king Uzziah. In this sermon we explore what Uzziah means to us, the meaning of true holiness, and whether we are positioned to respond as Isaiah did or simply positioned to be the targets of the message Isaiah was given.

Pastors Bruce Coble, and Barbie Loflin talk about how God has directed the new name of our Church – Springhouse Worship & Arts Center. We are expecting God to do great things and are looking forward to seeing all the amazing things he has planned for us.
