In August of this year the state department of Workforce Development says they expect the state to be short nearly 20,000 nurses by 2040. Loughlin has found a way to use technology to alleviate this absence through her telehealth company that supports the underserved and overworked. She explains the burnout nurses are feeling right now, how we got to this expected shortage, other ways we are utilizing this technology, and more.

Wisconsin is expected to have a huge influx of election observes during this election. This is more crucial to Wisconsin voters as this is a major battleground state. The Republican national Committee announced earlier this year their plans to recruit 100,000 poll watchers and observers with 5,000 dedicated to this state. On the other side the Democratic Party of Wisconsin will also issue out their poll workers. But outside of these official parties, right wing activists have been recruiting and training people to be poll workers. Investigative Reporter, Wisconsin Watch Phoebe Petrovic joins Kristin to explain this further what we should know about poll workers, and watchers when casting our vote.

Loneliness, violence, and worsening mental health are some of the major issues plaguing our society. This is highlighted in the Fraying Connections: Exploring Social Capital and Its Societal Implications a report release by the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty. They have now released their newest and final report titled "From Isolation to Connection” which features suggestion on how policies on all factions for government can help alleviate these societal problems.
