"OK Boomer." This dismissive phrase has been used as the new backhanded “whatever” to reject any discussion, debate or conversation by Social Justice and postmodern-minded young men and women. Peterson burst onto the scene and became an internet sensation in 2017, dishing out common sense replies to the excesses of out-of-control, wacky postmodernism and the liberal progressive empires dispensing draconian challenges to free speech and cognitive liberty that these movements promote. With nearly 40 million members, evangelicals are normally politically active, voting for their morals as well as for the preservation of our republic. Seminaries previously focused on Scriptural exegesis and proclamation are now focusing on teaching their future pastors postmodern concepts such as critical race theory and intersectionality. Churches throughout the nation are pushing progressive agendas along with classes that feature the teaching of unconscious bias training along with the deceptive idea of ‘white privilege’. Faithful church members are being encouraged to reject constitutional conservatives and to embrace open borders, reject normative patriotism, and embrace progressive concepts and social justice policies normally reserved for radical socialists or open society adherents. Rejecting any respect or support for President Donald Trump, the new progressive Christian front has a obvious political edge. While stating that it is “a-political,’ the deconstructionist Christian movement churn out articles, videos, conferences, and tweets that promote progressive policies such as open borders, equity-based concepts, and social justice endeavors. If you listen closely to the speeches and discussions of world leaders and global policymakers in today’s news and social media, you will hear a term repeated by folks such as Angela Merkel, Emmanuel Macron, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Rex Tillerson and the venerable shadowy puppet master George Soros. The term might have slipped by you as it sounds rather friendly and innocuous: “Open Society’ When this term is normally used, you will hear it used by progressive politicians while bemoaning of the election results in Italy, Austria, the United States and the British Brexit as threats to Open Society and the terrible rise of nationalism and populism. Maybe you have heard these things and have felt a bit confused as to why preserving one’s nation and culture would be a bad thing? Let us together examine some basics in regards to Open Societies, where the concept came from and who is currently making the big push for a borderless non-constitutional government, without fully informing their citizenry on of their intentions in the United States and Europe.

The key term to understand any developments in politics, religion, financial markets, or social sciences today is the loaded power word, reflexivity. In simple terms, reflexivity can be simply understood as a “self-fulfilling prophecy” or as an outcome that can be determined or assured due to overwhelming propaganda. In other words, if you are one of the elite masters of the universe and since all truth claims are subjectively suspect to fallibility; you can make up your own truth claim up and can create your own version of the future – since you are brilliant, one of the powerful elite, and know what’s best for everyone else, implant the fertile fallacy, a fat lie that demands action, into a continuous feedback loop. Then shout that fallacy far and wide from the mountaintops. Use every available media outlet: TV, radio, social media, and, specifically in the United States, the church in order to fertilize your fertile fallacy, make it the center of all conversation – create a crisis and insist that everyone else answer to your fallacious creation. In the end, the reflexive action that is created is never with the intent of solving the fertile fallacy – in the end it is meant to move the needle further to accomplishing your greater goals: the deconstruction of western civilization and the creation of an “open society."

On today's episode of The Causes of Things, we will explore the purposed leveraging phenomenon known as the fertile fallacy. Throughout the socio-political universe, there has been a phenomenon as of late that allows the architects of change to perform a manipulative influence to either achieve a desired result or create a pseudo-necessity for change in society. Plainly stated, when a change in opinion or sociological shift is desired, a big lie is told in order to disrupt something as large as a cultural norm or as small as a local election. This phenomenon is properly defined as a fertile fallacy. A fertile fallacy is a statement or idea that on the surface may seem to be true because of a spurious accusation or because of inherent biases of the receiver. Even though the accusation or statement lacks veracity, it is received as a “truth” from those that wish it to be true and hence will have a life of its own until the fertile fallacy is dismantled. Plainly stated, a fertile fallacy can be understood as “a lie that has legs” and will accomplish a manipulative function for the architect of the fallacy. The fertile fallacy is a useful point of leverage in the process of reflexivity. This process has been the agent of change used by George Soros and his organizations associated with Open Society Foundations.

We’re living in one of the most interesting times in human history. It’s hard to conceive all that’s taking place and changing around us as we recognize that the great tectonic plates of our civilization are now shifting right underneath our collective feet. And not only that, but the acceleration of these changes is now coming in such a way that you really have no way of knowing what tomorrow’s headlines will bring.
