message ORIGINAL TUNE by Skender Makota (Da Balkanimal) I've always been into good drumbie or jungle, house music is where I live, but I like to travel outside as well, visit the neighbors so to speak, and make some drumnbass, ambient, techno or whatever. This versatility is one major bonus electronic music production allows us to do, and in my opinion one of the major reasons why I love making and living in the sounds of good electronic music in my productions. While I also fully enjoy jazz music and playing jazz piano, transcribing tracks by Bill Evans, Munk, Parker, Corea and many other legends, my mindset is in the study and mind expanding mode, as jazz theory in my opinion is one of the most interesting enigmas for a musician to get into "resolving", as it is really a gift that keeps on giving... but once I get my Moogs up and running, those lights and leds start turning on in my head as well, and I switch to pure enjoyment of making more electronic music, often incorporating what I learned while jazz studying, I guess ;) You could say that I see ALL music as one big family, which often gets into quarrels with each other, but are always there for each other when, and if the shit hits da fan. As one of my great teachers at Berklee in Boston '99 said: "It's just Music, maan".

Grown Love · Jasmina Makota Remix by the BROTHER (actually, real brother, not like "bro or sis" crap, we blood, ya digg?) Album "Green", debut by Jasmina Makota in a mellow, more personal tone Remix to add another side of it, for when feeling limber.. Amazing Tracks for the new era in music, for the more sophisticated human... Co-produced originally by Bojan Miljancic, who put in a lot of effort to help her get the album out and made the original album mix full of space for her voice to breathe emotion! Very gentleman and elegant way to approach modern day mixing - actually leaving space for your talent, vocalist with precious voice tone, and music to tell a story, not shove it down your throat (or ears in this case..) jasminamusic.com for more info ℗ Intek Music Released on: 2025-01-24 Producer: Bojan Miljančić Composer: Jasmina Makota Lyricist: Jasmina Makota

El Diablo Cabbage 4 Our Jammage - Skender Makota DaBalkanimal & Friends Elston Sessions Chicago V2 original improv sessions recorded at our Elston Chicago Studio over the years, usually recorded at random like here, and out of nowhere we're jammin all day long and having a blast doing it, as we all should when it comes to music! Fun fact: This started by me smashing my hard drive cause it pissed me off and throwing it across the studio straight into a trash bin - dunk! But then: Boiiiiing... That hard drive enclosure was making awesome sounds when I picked it up and played djembe on it... so I hit my boy up, our band drummer Daniel Crane who comes with goodies and bangs the shit out of this smashed up but in one piece hard drive case... most of the drum sounds you hear in between is this enclosure... which was given second life after landing hard in the trash and became part of our percussion inventory kinda haha Hope you like it, this is how it all started, smashing some bones and using them to drum around in circle!
