I've always been into good drumbie or jungle, house music is where I live, but I like to travel outside as well, visit the neighbors so to speak, and make some drumnbass, ambient, techno or whatever. This versatility is one major bonus electronic music production allows us to do, and in my opinion one of the major reasons why I love making and living in the sounds of good electronic music in my productions. While I also fully enjoy jazz music and playing jazz piano, transcribing tracks by Bill Evans, Munk, Parker, Corea and many other legends, my mindset is in the study and mind expanding mode, as jazz theory in my opinion is one of the most interesting enigmas for a musician to get into "resolving", as it is really a gift that keeps on giving... But once I get my Moogs up and running, those lights and leds start turning on in my head as well, and I switch to pure enjoyment of making more electronic music, often incorporating what I learned while jazz studying, I guess ;) You could say that I see ALL music as one big family, which often gets into quarrels with each other, but are always there for each other when, and if the shit hits da fan. As one of my great teachers at Berklee in Boston '99 said: "It's just Music, maan". More jungle coming up, stay tuned!
