Ep 413Vintage Jo Extra

Joanna found her style when she turned 50. Did you have the same experience when you turned 50? On the podcast, Jo talks about how her natural grey hair and vintage style preference makes her work as an 'extra' a fun part of her lifestyle. Jo started working as an 'extra' at a time when she needed to closely care for her son. Being an 'extra' can be confronting. Especially when you're on a production set getting your hair and makeup done in the era of your parents. Have you had the experience of when you've dressed like your mother when she was your age? Did it seem like they were looking straight back at you in the mirror? That's confronting. Do you collect accessories to make your contemporary clothes look vintage? That's part of what makes Joanne look vintage amazing. You can see the array of vintage looks Jo has sewn for special events and just because this is her signature style.
