Ep 128Psychedelics For Mental Health With @BGreenzweig
EI'm an entrepreneur, CEO, father, husband who's on a mission to destigmatize the conversation on mental health. As someone who has battled depression and experienced the healing powers of psychedelics, I believe everyone deserves to find their own mental health balance, and the more knowledge one has, the more empowered they are to find it. Professionally, I have worked in the media and conferences industry since 2000, generating revenue, developing strategy, managing talent and executing growth plans. I have significant experience in technology, retail, consumer goods, financial services, energy, food & beverage, healthcare, defense, government, wellness and professional services. In 2012, I launched Momentum, a forward-thinking events company that relentlessly pursue future trends impacting the industries and professions that move markets. Today, I am dedicating the second act of my entrepreneurial life to busting the mental health stigma and finding creative ways to increase access and affordability of mental health diagnosis and treatment services for those who need it. In 2020, I launched Balanced, a division of Momentum that provides a catalogue of trusted knowledge about psychedelics, curated from the patient's perspective, in order to help the curious make decisions about the treatment of their mental health. Feel free to read about my journey living with depression as well as how I was able to push it into remission: “My Long Shadow: Living with Depression” and "My Long Shadow, Slayed".
