So when I heard that FX was taking two of my favorite things and making a showcase for star Tom Hardy's unapologetic weirdness, I jumped with glee. The eccentric 39-year-old English actor plays James Delaney, a mysterious figure who returns to London in 1814 following the death of his father and spends most of the first episode brooding and intimidating people. Like a gloomy reality-show contestant, Delaney is not here to make friends. It doesn’t take long to realize that “Taboo,” the heavy-breathing new FX series set in Regency England, is going to be very ripe viewing. Rain on the moors, tubs of offal, bodies with coppers on the eyes, grave robbers, a funeral procession led by a dwarf — we’re talking the whole dark-gothic playbook. And that’s before we get to the half-sibling incest and the slave ship flashbacks and the Native American incantations.But the most self-consciously gloomy thing about “Taboo,” which begins its eight-episode run on Tuesday, is its star, Tom Hardy, who created the show with his father, Chips Hardy, and the writer and producer Steven Knight. They’re still in prison though awaiting the trial coming up in about a week in Nevada. The prosecution against the Bundy’s et al just filed a Motion In Limine – a move that is an attempt by the Government to disallow all facts, evidence or legal arguments that shed light on the illegal over-reach of federal agencies and military tactics by agents of those self-same agencies. They most certainly don’t want the Jury in this trial to be contemplating the other side of the coin! I also walk through some of the facts of what we call our Government really is – and how our “Government” is working against us - not conspiracy theory but evidentiary facts – the truth about that THING in Washington DC is as well as the State and County governments we all support with our hard earned labors. I also talk into the nature and distinction of the all-important Jurisdictions – just a glance that will, I hope, contribute more to helping people understand how Jurisdiction and our lack of knowledge about it is the way they are always railroading us away from our natural rights. That’s what has happened to the Bundy’s and the others arrested over these two standoffs – and that’s what happens to us all – unless we understand how Jurisdiction works – and at this point, the governments have all the advantages because they do know all about Jurisdiction and how to use it against the people in ways that boggle the mind! On Today’s episode of The World In My Eyes we will no longer ignore the blasted pink and purple elephant in the room that’s blaring a trumpet. That’s right Renegade Nation, we’re going to be talking today about the Women’s March on Washington. This most recent election exposed a Grand Canyon-sized divide in the United States. We are divided by geography, by class, by education, by culture, by where we get our takeout coffee, by what cars we drive, so on and so forth. And I think marches like this pose the danger of reinforcing and perhaps even widening that divide. I know organizers keep using words like inclusive and solidarity. But I find those words very hard to square with the fact that 4 in 10 women voted for Trump, that’s 53 percent of white women. And the media often leaves the impression that Trump was elected by white man and heavily opposed by women, but it's simply not true. And there's actually a much larger divide among women than there are among other identity groups. I am very concerned about this divide and I’ve made it a hobby, to try and understand what’s happening. How someone could look at a man like Trump and think he was completely disqualified for office. So I think it is in our best interest, given this divide, which by the way is infecting countries all over Europe as well, that we work towards creating solutions rather than saber-rattling opposition. There really are genuine disagreements. But one of the problems I think and one of the reasons we can't really have sustained discussions about this, or the courageous conversations is that it so easily sparks accusations of racism and bigotry. When I first heard about the plans to march on Washington, I understood the need for public displays of resistance, why it’s so very important to make sure each and every voice was heard. The problem that has plagued this movement from the very beginning is that there was a serious lack of inclusiveness and the lack of organization felt more like a badly promoted concert than a movement that should be taken seriously. Then when the Maryland organizer stepped down from her role criticizing the same lack of inclusiveness and a disregard for safety and sanitation, her fears echoed my own. And as time went on, I began to see there were more cracks in the veneer. When the Huffington Post posted an article delineating the same concerns expressed by numerous groups and individuals, that’s when I started seeing this “march” as more of a PR stunt than anything of real substance.

On Today’s episode of The World In My Eyes it has come to my attention, that there is a group of liberal Hollywood celebrities who have been threatening a “massive, all-round Hollywood strike” unless Donald Trump resigns. Now the first thing that drew me to this story was that these f**t**ds are describing Hollywood as “the base of the entire modern American culture” and these f**kt**ts are claiming that they speak on behalf of “all of humanity.” Now before I comment on any of this, I want to make sure you dear, sweet listeners have the whole of the story. So let me finish… so a spokesperson for this group has told the New York Times, and I’m guessing anyone who’s stupid enough to listen and I quote “it’s about time people understood that we’re the ones with the power and that the president is there to serve us, not the other way around.” They continued by stating “we’re calling for a general strike that would include every single person involved in making motion pictures in Hollywood, starting with the actors and celebrities themselves and encompassing companies in charge of making props, movie memorabilia and even souvenir shops.”Now, the people who are listed as part of this nutbag group include Rosie O’Donnell, Debra Mesing, Ed Asner, and Michael Shannon and a so-called list of dozens of artists, entertainers, and activists who have attached their names to an effort calling for a month-long protest to stop President-elect Donald Trump. These self-assigned “normal” Americans placed a full-page ad in the New York Times stating “No! In the Name of Humanity We Refuse to Accept a Fascist America!” and “Donald Trump, the President-elect, is assembling a regime of grave danger.”The group, which by the way is calling itself Refuse Racism goes on to say “Millions of people in the US and around the world are filled with deep anxiety, fear and disgust. Our anguish is right and just. Our anger must now become massive resistance – before Donald Trump is inaugurated and has the full reins of power in his hands.” And when asked to elaborate on why the group is targeting Hollywood out of all the industries in the country as their bargaining chip, the spokesperson argued that Hollywood “is, simply put, the base of the entire modern American culture. It is the foundation of the country, so to speak, the glue that’s holding it together. And think about what happens when you destroy the foundation of a house. It comes crashing down, right? Well, that’s exactly what’s going to happen to America unless Donald Trump realizes how real the danger of that actually is, and chooses to step down as President of his own free will. And while we’re on the subject, between you and me – nobody wants Hollywood to stop doing its thing, but this is a necessary move.”
