Law enforcement was seen entering 21-year-old Alissa’s $800,000 family home in Arvada, Colorado, on Tuesday.It is 30 miles from where he is believed opened fire with an AR-15-style rifle on Monday afternoon at the King Soopers grocery store.A young woman at the address told reporters to “please leave” the property on Tuesday - just minutes after three detectives left having spent 90 minutes inside.A small child aged about two occasionally came to the window to wave at reporters while detectives were speaking to the family.A wheelchair was left in the garden at the front of the house and two cars, a people carrier and an SUV, were parked in the driveway.The house, which has an array of solar panels on its roof, is believed to be where several members of Alissa’s family live.Several other law enforcement officers, some wearing jackets with “FBI” and some with “CBI” written on the back, were also seen going door to door speaking to neighbors of the family on Tuesday evening.An officer saying his name was Tim Martinez told The Sun: “We are carrying out inquiries related to the shooting and that is all I can say.”One neighbor said: “I know the family, they’re good people.” Other neighbors refused to speak.The suspected Boulder shooter was reportedly known by the FBI and posted about Islamaphobes before the gun attack.Alissa has been charged after rampaging through a grocery store with an AR-15-style rifle, leaving 10 people including police officer Eric Talley, dead.

The only way you move through the impenetrable wall of green is with a machete. Hacking with the knife, you can slowly make some progress, but the work is exhausting. Finally, you seem to be reaching the jungle's edge. Only a few heavy vines block your way. You bring back the knife to swing at one, but your native guide stays your hand."No sir! Do not touch that one! Go around! It is dangerous!" You scoff at him. "Go around? What for? We're almost out. It's just a vine!"You swing your machete and it strikes the three-inch-thick vine, slicing it neatly in two. Suddenly the jungle around you comes alive. The vines in the nearby trees start moving. You step back, but it's too late. One wraps around your ankle. You raise your knife to cut through it, but before you can swing, another vine twists around your arm, stopping it. A third vine, as thick as a fire hose, curls around your waist and you are knocked off your feet. It drags you into the thick underbrush. Suddenly the jungle parts up ahead and you see an orange pod as tall as a man. It opens and you are thrust into its dark interior. You find yourself waist deep in a sticky liquid that burns your skin. As the leaves close up behind you, trapping you, your guide's voice can be heard...

They can be found everywhere, from deep in the remote mountains, to craggy coastlines, to wedged between skyscrapers and crowded shopping streets, bizarrely melding the modern with the ancient. Practically every municipality in Japan has at least one temple or shrine, with historical cities such as Kyoto boasting several thousand.

Throughout history mankind has sought to cheat this inevitable end. It seems we have a very strong urge to stave of death’s grip or at least in some cases to return from it. There have been many who have gone through great efforts to staunch the tide of decay and entropy; to drag the dead from the dark clutches of eternal oblivion and pull them back into the light. These attempts have run the gamut from freakish, ghoulish experiments like something out of a horror novel to more sober, scientific discussion on the matter. Here we will delve into the real life history of mankind’s desire to reanimate the dead.
