The Brian Walshe trial wrapped up its 6th day of testimony with a number of eerie visuals and evidence. Jurors saw Brian Walshe shopping for dismemberment supplies within hours of Ana Walshe’s death, even bringing their child with him to a follow up visit to the store. Week 2 of the Brian Walshe trial is underway, but on Friday jurors heard texts Walshe sent to his missing wife’s phone well after he knew she was already dead. The prosecution revealed a series of texts in the hours and days following Ana Walshe’s death, feigning concern about her and expressing his love for her. Was it a hijacking, was it loss of cabin pressure? A Texas based robotics company is about to resume its search for missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 later this month.  Ocean Infinity has signed a “no-find, no-fee” contract with the Malaysian government, and they have 55 days starting to find the missing jet that vanished without a trace more than a decade ago.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

A new study shows a clear association between how young a child gets their first smartphone, and depression, anxiety and obesity.  A second study this week revealed that when young adults reduce their social media time, within just one week, there were significant reductions in depression and anxiety.  Amy and T.J. check their phones for time spent on social media, and then compared it with T.J.’s 12 year old and it was fairly shocking.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

One of, if not THE largest jury award for a wrongful condition was given to a man who spent 4 decades working to exonerate himself. Earlier this year Darryl Boyd died from pancreatic cancer just months before he was finally set to go to trial, suing the city of Buffalo after spending decades behind bars for a murder he did not commit. Boyd was one of the so called “Buffalo 5”, teenaged black man all wrongfully accused in the robbery and murder of a white man. It was an eventful day 4 of the Brian Walshe trial today, with the man who was having an affair with Ana taking the stand. William Fastow testified that neither he nor Ana ever believed that Brian was aware of their relationship. After going through hotel security footage, Rosemont Police say Tara Reid’s drink was NOT tampered with while she stepped away for a cigarette. Videos circulating online show the 50-year-old actress out of control and seemingly wasted, eventually taken from the hotel bar in a stretcher to a nearby hospital. Reid says she still believes she was drugged, claiming she only had one glass of white wine that evening. Police and Reid are awaiting any tests that might have been done on Reid while she was hospitalized, but it remains unclear if any results will be made public.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Prosecutors lined up the witnesses on day 3 of the Brian Walshe trial, establishing Ana Walshe’s final travel movements. They also produced photos and testimony surrounding the evidence police found in multiple trash bags from a dumpster near Brian’s mother’s home. 22-year-old Rebecca Park was 38 weeks pregnant when she went missing in early November. 3 weeks later her body was found by her father with her unborn child cut out of her womb. This week, police charged her biological mother and stepfather with murdering Park and her baby, but right now, investigators still haven’t found the baby’s remains. Further complicating this disturbing story, police have also arrested Park’s 21-year-old sister and her own fiancé and father of her child. Day 2 of the Brian Walshe trial revealed more shocking and damning searches made from the devices in Walshe’s home in the hours and days after his wife’s disappearance. In a leaked memo over the weekend, our country’s FDA vaccine chief stated that AT LEAST 10 children have died after, and because of receiving COVID-19 vaccinations. The medical community has largely responded with not only skepticism, but a demand for proof to back up what the FDA says is a “profound revelation." Open AI has officially responded to a lawsuit filed against the company for the tragic death of 16-year-old Adam Raine. Raine died by suicide after his parents say ChatGPT discouraged their son from seeking help, offering to help him write a suicide note and gave him advice on how to set up a noose.  Open AI says Raine, at 16, was prohibited from using the chatbot in the first place, as users must be 18-years-old. The company also says Raine bypassed ChatGPT’s safety measures to use the chatbot for suicide or self harm. Amy and T.J. go over some of the frightening text messages between Adam and ChatGPT that his parents say prove their son was encouraged to die by suicide. Family members are anxiously waiting for answers in the murder of 18-year-old Anna kepner aboard a Carnival Cruise Ship earlier this month. Authorities haven’t officially named a suspect yet, but we’re now hearing from Kepner’s aunt, her grandparents and her own father about their suspicions. While none of them have directly accused Kepner’s 16-year-old step brother of murder, they have all questioned his involvement. Kepner’s aunt said her niece fought for her life and the family is in turmoil waiting for an arrest. The Union High School Bears pulled off an impressive victory this weekend, heading to the semi finals after their undefeated football team has been thrust into the international spotlight for all the wrong reasons: Their coach is missing and a wanted fugitive. The massive manhunt for 46-year-old Travis Turner continues after he disappeared on November 20th, last seen leaving his home with a firearm, heading into the woods. Days later, authorities revealed Turner was wanted on 5 counts of child pornography and another 5 counts of using a computer to solicit a minor. Even though T.J. and Amy have yet to be invited on one, apparently “Cousin Walks” are all the rage and have been for years now. Ever notice a group of family members, one-by-one disappear for a little while before Thanksgiving dinner? Maybe they said they’re “getting some ice," or “walking the dog," but what they’re actually doing is getting high. Police are officially investigating claims Tara Reid has made that someone spiked her drink over the weekend at a hotel bar just outside of Chicago. Videos emerged of Reid looking wasted and out of control, after she says she only had a single glass of wine that she briefly stepped away from to smoke a cigarette. She was eventually taken out on a stretcher and to an area hospital, where Reid says workers told her she was “drugged.” Reid says she can’t remember much and said the hospital was “vague” about what was in her system, but filed a police report which prompted the investigation.  Police say they are now working with the hotel to go through surveillance video to find out what really happened that night.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

One of the more disturbing stories of the week came out of a secret recording purportedly of a Campbell’s Soup executive. Former employee Robert Garza says he recorded his boss, Campbell’s Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer going on a tirade against the company, its products and some of its Indian Employees. Among the allegations, the man on the recording is heard saying that Campbell’s soup has bioengineered meat, saying he doesn’t wanna eat a piece of chicken that came from a 3D printer. Campbell’s Soup denies those claims and has put the exec on administrative leave while it investigates. A Virginia high school football coach mysteriously vanished 2 days before his team’s huge semi-final game last week and now we know why. 46-year-old Travis Turner is wanted on child porn charges and using his computer to solicit a minor. State police were on their way to talk to Turner when they were alerted he was no longer at home and nowhere to be found. On the same day Turner went missing, the school where he works also announced that a staff member had been placed on administrative leave.
