A Texas father found his 15-year-old daughter after she was kidnapped taking the family dog for a walk on Christmas, because of a tracking app on his phone. Using parental controls, he was able to find her in her kidnapper’s pickup truck in a partially wooded area and alert police. An Oklahoma man has been charged with first degree manslaughter after he shot and killed his neighbor while firing his new gun on Christmas Day.   Police say a single bullet traveled half a mile, killing an elderly woman on her porch, with a baby in her arms.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

After the Department of Justice announced they were investigating an alleged suicide letter signed by J. Epstein to  Larry Nassar,  it followed up confirming the FBI deemed the letter a  “FAKE.”  The letter, which claims “our President likes young nubile girls too”,  was one of the more incendiary files released in the DOJ Epstein file drop on Tuesday.   This latest back and forth has made the entire process even more confusing and frustrating, with the DOJ now eroding any trust in what we are reading or seeing.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

President Trump has been inserting his name on just about everything these days, so we figured we’d beat him to the punch. All jokes aside, this week President Trump announced he is naming a new fleet of battleships after himself, calling them “the largest, deadliest and most versatile best looking warships anywhere on the world’s oceans.”  This of course comes on the heels of him adding his name to the front of the Kennedy Center, renaming the U.S. Institute of Peace to the “Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace," adding his likeness to the National Park Pass, a commemorative one dollar coin and the list goes on and on. What’s next? The Department of Justice sent out a tweet before releasing more than 30,000 new documents from the Epstein files, saying some of the documents contain “untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump.” The documents in fact, do contain damning documents from an apparent suicide note from Epstein to Nassar along with flight logs that show Trump on Epstein’s private plane more times than previously known, apparently with alleged Epstein victims. This week, Phoenix residents finally saw justice for a 3 week long killing spree that ended in the murders of convicted killer Cleophus Cooksey Jr’s mom and stepfather.   Cooksey was convicted of killing 8 people in total, but the jury was hung on giving a death sentence for the murders of his mom and stepdad,  and now the DA is considering retrying Cooksey because of it!  Hear what the DA and a family friend had to say about the evil they saw in Cooksey and why they say he is the reason why we need the death penalty in this country.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Miss Finland 2025 has been stripped of her title after a photo was posted of her pulling her eyes and smiling with the caption “Eating with a Chinese."  But the controversy grew even bigger when several members of the Finnish Parliament recreated their own, exceptionally racist photos and posted them online in solidarity with Miss Finland. 58-year-old Frank Athen Walls is being put to death as this episode is being published, 40 years after his first murder when he was just 17 years old. As the judge imposed the maximum sentence for Brian Walshe, she took the opportunity to let her feelings be known, saying her sentence was appropriate given his  murderous acts and the life trauma he’s caused his children. Rhode Island officials held a late day press conference as the manhunt for the Brown University shooter continued for a fifth day.
